    Classic Cheeseburger
    Valerie P.

Came here on a holiday for lunch and it was really quiet so we got seated in no time. Our server was great- he was cracking jokes and made up for the quiet atmosphere of the restaurant. Got the two orders of the two for $25 (which is a great deal must I say). For appetizers, we got the spinach dip and onion rings. Both were huge in size and we were almost full off of these haha. Spinach dip was really good, but the chips accompanying them were too salty unfortunately. The onion rings were big and crunchy, really good. For entrees, we got the classic cheeseburger, bourbon chicken and shrimp, and four cheese mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken. The cheeseburgers were super solid cheeseburgers: the meat was cooked nicely, it was juicy, had a good amount of veggies on there- overall a really simple, yet good burger. The mac and cheese was unfortunately not as good. The chicken was well cooked but the pasta did not have any flavouring and all its flavouring really came from the sweet chicken. The bourbon chicken and shrimp was also solid, the chicken was slightly overcooked but the taste was there nonetheless. Overall, this place has always been pretty consistent and affordable and the service made the experience even better!

Mozzarella sticks appetizer with marinara sauce

Kiddo wanted Applebees, so we stopped here on our way to the Walmart Vision Center (no Walmarts near where we live). We arrived shortly before the lunch rush (11:30am) & were able to be seated right away. It wasn't very busy yet, with only a few other tables occupied. Our server was friendly & brought our drinks to us right away. She also informed us that they served Pepsi, not Coke when we ordered Cokes. That seems trivial, but they're required to do because of trademarks, yet so few do. So kudos to her for remembering. We ordered the 2 for $22. We both got the cheeseburger & fries. We chose the mozzarella sticks for our appetizer. The mozzarella sticks didn't take very long & were hot when they arrived. The meals, however, seemed to be taking longer than two cheeseburgers should take, especially considering that it wasn't crowded. Please not that if you order the cheeseburger, it doesn't come with any sauce on it. There's ketchup at the table, but you'll have to ask for mayonnaise or mustard if you like them on your burger. Otherwise it will be plain and dry. The burger was really thin, but large. It hung considerably off the bun. Personally, I prefer the fatter burgers. They're not as dry. But that's me. It might not be your preference. We both found the fried to be too salty. I ate a few, but left most of them on the plate. Same with the kiddo. Considering the meal cost us about $23 (incl tax), it wasn't bad. Two fast food burger combos would almost cost that much & wouldn't come with the mozzarella sticks. I've had better (looking at you, Burgatory), but I've also paid considerably more, so it all evens out. For the price I paid for the meal, I can't complain.

2 for $24.50 (with appetizer to share)!

Well I definitely uped your game...The loaded fajatis we're amazing, could not eat them all at one sitting. My husband's salad was good however it was a very small portion of steak.. the all American drink is nothing to write home about all though the blue Raspberry lemonade was delicious. Our server was great as well

    Giving this location another try.

I usually really like their food. However, when I ordered my food, it came literally within two minutes. I felt i had just placed the order and it arrived. Very strange. The food was obviously either from someone else's order or old and reheated. It was supposed to be bourbon chicken tasted like lemon chicken. I felt they just took something someone returned or refused and threw bbq sauce on it. Very disappointing. I doubt I'll be back.

My trip to Applebee's was sublime. And my treatment near that of a gladiator most decorated...but the parking wasn't great.

The place was nice, the upstairs space looked amazing. The pop was strong and needed to be brixed and have the syrup to carbonated water mix adjusted and might need a new cabonator as well. Wait staff was friendly and welcoming. Tons of TVs in the place on every wall but a lot were not on. Though plenty were. I got the open face hot turkey sandwich, my wife got the Rueben and subbed for white bread. We got potato skins for our appetizer. I ordered chicken noodle soup with my meal. The potato skins were delicious and cooked perfectly! The sour cream was even made better with some dried chives. The chicken noodle soup was a little thicker and creamy and delicious. I enjoyed every bite! The hot turkey was ok, the bread was burnt and hard which made it hard to enjoy. The Rueben was ok, the meat was very hard/tough. Hard to chew but the taste was ok. She really loved the chips and french onion dip. It appeared to be homemade and it was the best one she ever had and she's sort of an French dip aficionado. Overall I would probably go back again, it was a decent time and we really liked the atmosphere.

I went pretty regularly to pick up their fish sandwich. I feel like they've changed it a bit as I liked it quite a bit. It is a decent size as they serve it on a standard sized bun, but give you plenty of overhang on both sides. Their French fries are also ok. I tend to like hand it fries with the skin still on, but the fries aren't very thick and if they're over cooked at all, the skins can get tough and sort of overpower the flavor of the fries. I will say that they do offer a nice portion size on this too, and when I ordered a side of gravy, it was pretty tasty. The apps as well are ok. I've tried the provolone, potato skins, cod pieces, fried ravioli and none of them stood out as being terrible or great. The biggest thing for me is that every time I've gone, the bartenders have always been friendly and the orders have always been correct, even if I've asked for substitutions, extra tartar, etc. it's not a large place and there hasn't ever been a lot of staff any time I've gone, so I do really appreciate the effort they put in to make sure your order is right. That alone is worth an extra star to me.

Did we listen? Not before, but now that we have been there, we can't wait to go back. From the outside, Carnivores looks like a dive bar. But au contraire, the place is actually NOT a dive bar at all. It's definitely a nice local restaurant/bar that has a Cheers vibe. Several of the tables had Reserved signs on them and I figured out that groups of people must have been gathering for NCAA Championship. Nevertheless, we were seated quickly and our orders were taken quickly and we were served piping hot food quickly. Fresh cut fries are one of my weaknesses and I couldn't resist ordering them along with the Jimbo sub which has shaved ribeye steak, hot sausage, provolone, mushrooms, onions and lettuce and tomatoes. Definitely a delicious gut-buster! And the fresh cut fries? Yeah, it was a boss move to order those to go with! If you're a beer drinker, this place is also for you because they have 8,000 different types of brands. Seriously, you can get your beer on with quite a number of varieties. My default when I don't feel like being disappointed…read more @thepubat333 is that easy "let's just go to..." and no one argues it because it just...works. There's enough going on menu-wise that everyone figures it out, and I'm not exaggerating-every single time I've been there since they opened, someone at the table orders a French dip. Every. time. It's basically part of the experience now. Also if I see pierogi, I'm ordering pierogi. That's just who I am. Could've taken down the entire plate without blinking but I shared like a respectable adult (meanwhile mentally tracking which ones were supposed to be mine). It's just a laid back, neighborhood spot that doesn't try to be anything crazy and still ends up being exactly what you wanted. Fun fact: my friend and I once prank called from their landline, the owner immediately called back, we answered like nothing happened, and yeah...the phone was no longer an option for us after that

Bar seating was almost full with only a couple seats. Heard good things about their pizza too. There's free parking in the lot (although small). Shout out to our bartender Ange! The black and bleu shrimp was absolutely amazing. It's got blackened spice and has this creamy sauce that makes you go dip for more (I need that recipe honestly). If I had some bread, I'd definitely use this as a dip lol. We got the thin crust Sicilian pizza to share. The pizza unfortunately was very wet and kind of soggy. I think they could have waited to let it rest for a few min before serving because it would especially show when we were separate the slices and try to take one off the plate. I don't usually want my toppings and cheese to just slide off the pizza. Also since we were at a bar w/ some of the games going on, we wanted wings and got their crispy whole wings in a dry spice rub. They were pretty big wings and well seasoned -- not too spicy though if that's not your vibe.

The carpet is smooth and rolls well with excellent foot paths and seating areas. The extras make the experience feel very professional with lane timers, measuring tapes, ball racks, and score keeping methods. Even down to the rules laid out including my favorite.. "No swearing in English" The bar area is also top notch! Self serve beer taps and wine taps (these are the coolest). Just tap your card and they have siphons that pull your wine right from the bottle.. and chilled glass coolers to enhance your experience. A dock for a food truck to pull right up to! My in-laws have eaten at this restaurant and have repeatedly told me that they really liked the good foods. In addition, my husband and I recently ate three entrees from this restaurant, and they tasted very good. The restaurant's menu lists appetizers (e.g., fried provolone, chicken quesadilla, pretzels with beer cheese, and spinach-artichoke dip), wedding soup, salads, wraps, entrees (e.g., chicken romano, chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, fish 'n chips, and pasta primavera), sandwiches, pizzas, desserts (e.g., chocolate-chip cookie skillet), and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. My husband and I arrived for dinner. A waitress promptly and courteously served us. My husband commented on how he liked the railroad-looking interior design. Here are my reviews of what we ate: BBQ Ribs - 4 stars - Dry-rub pork ribs were slow-roasted and covered in raspberry BBQ sauce. These ribs fell off the bone and tasted very good. They came with my choice of two sides, and I chose French fries and coleslaw, which I liked. Fettuccine Alfredo - 4 stars - Fettucine pasta and a flavorful alfredo sauce were topped with parmesan cheese and my add-on of shrimp. I choose a salad for my side. Large 12-cut Pizza - 4 stars - I chose toppings of mushrooms and green peppers. The cheese was not very gooey, and the crust was on the thinner side, but I liked this pizza very much. The total price for these three entrees was about $66 plus a tip. (Note that I have done a collab with this restaurant, but I paid *full price* for these foods and typed my honest opinion.)
