Nearly all of these reviews are years old. My in-laws have eaten at this restaurant and have repeatedly told me that they really liked the good foods. In addition, my husband and I recently ate three entrees from this restaurant, and they tasted very good. The restaurant's menu lists appetizers (e.g., fried provolone, chicken quesadilla, pretzels with beer cheese, and spinach-artichoke dip), wedding soup, salads, wraps, entrees (e.g., chicken romano, chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, fish 'n chips, and pasta primavera), sandwiches, pizzas, desserts (e.g., chocolate-chip cookie skillet), and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. My husband and I arrived for dinner. A waitress promptly and courteously served us. My husband commented on how he liked the railroad-looking interior design. Here are my reviews of what we ate: BBQ Ribs - 4 stars - Dry-rub pork ribs were slow-roasted and covered in raspberry BBQ sauce. These ribs fell off the bone and tasted very good. They came with my choice of two sides, and I chose French fries and coleslaw, which I liked. Fettuccine Alfredo - 4 stars - Fettucine pasta and a flavorful alfredo sauce were topped with parmesan cheese and my add-on of shrimp. I choose a salad for my side. Large 12-cut Pizza - 4 stars - I chose toppings of mushrooms and green peppers. The cheese was not very gooey, and the crust was on the thinner side, but I liked this pizza very much. The total price for these three entrees was about $66 plus a tip. If I could give this place less than one star I would. My fiance got mushrooms on a buffalo chicken wrap. They charged me $4.25 per pop, with charging for a kids drink that is supposed to come with the meal. I already sat there waiting for over 10 minutes waiting on a check and just paid it to get out of there faster. Horrible experience. read more

The service was slow, the chicken Marsala didn't come with any pasta and was cold. We ordered a side of fries with our meals and they never came out and it was a hassle for them to get them out. The time for our food to come out of the kitchen was a very long wait. The taste of the food was good but not worth the price. Would not recommend. read more

Pre-made, subpar food, poor service, and a loud dining room are the downfall of this restaurant. The menu looked promising, but the food quality is not good. I'm not the kind of guy to leave much on a plate, but I left half of my Buffalo chicken wrap and fries in the basket. Our appetizer came out with the meal. Traveling and did not want fast food. Walked in and no sign to seat yourself and no one to seat you. I had to walk back to the kitchen to find someone. Waitress delivered what was supposed to be iced tea, but was so watered down and had NO flavor remotely of iced tea. (And it was $3.00!) my husband received his onion rings in one big fried clumpy mess. My salad with grilled chicken certainly did not look like the phot with only half the chicken the photo contained. We had dinner while bowling, our meal was put of this world, completely unexpected for a bowling alley. The kids enjoyed their personal pizzas, and we were pleasantly taken aback by the loaded fries with pulled pork . Came in & took them at least 10 minutes to get our drink order (& food order), then another 30 minutes or so to get 2 burgers, 1 hotdog, & a fish sandwich. The burgers seemed not to be seasoned & overdone. The applewood burger has onion straws & they were soggy as was the bun, like it sat in the window & got wet. The fish sandwich was also overdone & by the time we lefty husbands (who ate it)had an upset stomach. The hotdog bun was hard. The onion rings were also not crispy & seemed to be undercooked. So do yourself a favor & go eat elsewhere then go play as it's not worth the time or the $$. read more

OMG was this place amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Resturant is part of Zone28 but completely sectioned off from the bowling alley and arcade. There are windows so you can see all the action but not hear it, kind of makes for an exciting atmosphere. Our server was great, super fast, we ordered our food and it seemed like 5 minutes later it was at our table. They have all the typical categories of bar/lounge type food (apps, sandwiches, salads, burgers, steaks) but not a huge selection from each category. I'd say that's ok though since what they do have on their menu is made very well. The fries are amazing, get them. Food was reasonably priced, despite being at an entertainment center. At the end of our meal the waitress handed each of us $5 in arcade credits! Apparently they were doing a promotion and it definitely worked on us. Would definitely return. read more

The only thing nice I can say is our waitress was nice. To start, the yes the waitress was nice but service was slow. It started off about five minutes after we were seated our waitress came around to take our drink orders, we all ordered waters, one of us ordered a beer and one of us ordered a fish bowl. About 15-20 minutes later our waitress came around to take our food (one dish specifically vegetarian) and appetizer orders, we still hasn't gotten our drinks, after i reminded her about our drinks she only brings a fish bowl. After waiting another 10 minutes or so I tried flagging her down but couldn't get her attention so I managed to get the other waitresses attention regarding the beer. She brought it right out. Another 40 minutes or so go by. We hadn't received our appetizer. Our waitress finally comes out with all main courses and the appetizer at the same time. The nachos were not vegetarian as requested, and we had to tell her we didn't want the appetizer anymore since we now had our main courses. Our tab ended up being $60 and it was not worth it. The nachos were what you would order at a movie theater with half melted cheese, the chicken and chicken wrap with fries were stone cold, and the salad looked like it was dumped out of a bag. An absolute treat. I have eaten at this restaurant twice so far, and on both occasions have not been disappointing. The first time I had dined here was with my boyfriend when we had first moved to the area and the place had finally finished construction. Once entered, we were greeted by a packed and energized customer base. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home immediately and took very good care of us. Since we were new to the restaurant, our waiter kindly gave us Zone 28 arcade cards, which was a nice surprise. His reason to us was; "You guys have been incredibly awesome and great customers tonight. I would like to show my appreciation for you guys." Besides the friendly service and warm atmosphere, the food itself speaks to me. Absolutely tasteful and filling with generous portion servings. My boyfriend ordered the Fish N' Chips basket while I ordered the Zone Burger. My boyfriend enjoyed the basket very much, considering that the fish itself was cooked to perfection and crispy with very little oil residue. The french fries were crunchy on the outside; hot and soft on the inside with no need of salt, pepper or even ketchup. Perfectly fine by themselves. My burger was medium done; juicy and mouth watering. It was a simple burger considering it was my first time here, so I wanted to try something simple first in order to gain a feel and taste for the quality of their food. We then left with full tummies and satisfied face. Soon after which, we played in the arcade for a while, only to find ourselves meeting a famous YouTuber. The second time we went, was on 1/4/2018. We were all impressed by the food once again, however, I was a little disappointed with the milkshake. Even though the flavor and texture was perfectly sweet to the tongue and as I expected it be in appearance, it was a small size in my opinion. Definitely one of the single worst service experiences I've ever had. Our server, Heaven, did not approach our table once during the hour we were there. She had a 30 minute conversation two tables away from us and did not acknowledge our presence once. A trainee, the bartender and kitchen staff all were working our table to make up for her lack of service. Not once during the evening did a manager step in nor did he seem too concerned when I shared my experience. Since they opened, we have been eagerly waiting for the chance to try out RailHouse and finally decided to go for a birthday celebration! You enter through the bowling alley doors then immediately go into the restaurant without needing to see the actual bowling lanes (which was nice since we had two kids with us who needed to eat without being taunted by the possibility of bowling). Walking in, the decor is great! Very modern and cozy and looked fresh, new, and clean. However, to say the rest of the experience was disappointing is an understatement. There were only two other small tables of people in the restaurant and service was very slow. The server was nice but she seemed to not know what she was doing. We spent more time waiting for silverware, water, and a side of ranch than we spent eating our meals. The pizza, chicken tenders, and corn dog bites were okay- tasted as you would expect frozen food to taste, nothing amazing, but the Mac and cheese was a whole new level of food. When we asked for it without bacon- we were informed it comes "infused with the bacon bits" (we took that as it comes pre-made and they just heat it up) but decided to give it a try anyways (bacon infused and all). It was was inedible. It tasted like it might have been sitting out back for few weeks then was warmed up in the microwave. My husband, who used to be able to say he can eat anything, now has to say he can eat anything except the mac and cheese at the Railhouse. It was also pretty pricey for what you actually are getting, but figured because it's part of the bowling alley and prices are inflated because of that. It has the potential to be a pretty amazing restaurant if they could provide some training to their staff and actually make the food.
