I ordered a ultimate trio. My tacos had NOTHING IN THEM, just shells. My sauced nuggets were cold and had almost no sauce. No celery. There were 7 fries which were cold and soggy. When I called to get a refund, they forgot to mute and were cursing and not paying any attention to the problem. read more

There were only about 5 tables being occupied on a Thursday night at 4:30? that should have been our first sign of what was to come. Wings were dried almost like they were reheated, and the double burger was disgusting. An old bun, cheese folded in half and no homemade garlic mayo, but they didn't forget the brown lettuce. THEY HAVE ROACHES!!!! I was calm about the situation and didn't cause a scene. But I'm leaving a review due to the lack of response or concern from management. I was told I'd get a call the next day. Not! Submitted a concern to corporate and that's when the manager reached out. She went on about how she got the place clean from top to bottom and that my submission even made her pass an inspection that happened right after. I told her it was traumatizing to have almost eaten a roach and that a Applebees gift card serves me no purpose!! I literally won't use it. Suggested another type. Said she'd get back to me, NOT!! Decent meal with my parents. Service lacking. I enjoyed my unlimited boneless wings. I tried the garlic-parmesan on my first offering. There was not much flavoring at all. My second offering was just plain boneless wings that I dipped in ranch. Wings were good. Fried to perfection. The meal came with fries and coleslaw. Fries were not that good. My father got the Asian chili flavored wings, and he thought it was spicier than he anticipated. Mom got plain wings. Overall the food was good. Service was not good. Had lunch yesterday. The man at the door was wearing a hoodie - hood up - but no mask. Server was pleasant and friendly, however our server and rest of the staff spent most of their time in the kitchen laughing and loudly goofing off, ignoring the customers. Even when our "call server" button was pushed it was ignored. The food was tasty and hot, no complaints about it, but the service was poor. There were only about 6 tables of customers so you would expect more attention. The only time I saw a manager was when the tv channel was being changed... We went there because of an ad "two for $20". Menu deals started at two for $22, no mention of $20. Guess I should have asked why but did not. Don't think we will return. read more

So, this Applebee's has went down over the years. When it first opened my husband and I enjoyed coming because it was off the beaten path, relatively quiet and quick service. Recently, the waits are long, promotions are lackluster and we have come less and less because of it. My most recent visit was just OK. Our server seemed to be in a mood, we think because she was the only person staffed to run the bar and surrounding high tops which we sat at. She seemed unwilling to have my questions answered about the new smothered fajita dish I came specifically to try. When I told her this practically having to beg to get the answers I desired she reluctantly went to the kitchen and to my delight indicated they could provide a less spicier version of the dish. Now I'm not a big fajita person but I enjoyed my meal. I will say there was not nearly enough quest on it to warrant paying an extra dollar for "smothered" protein. But overall the food was hot and fresh. I also tried the $1 vodka raspberry lemonade. For $1 you get what you pay for in that regard although some of their other discounted cocktails I have enjoyed very much. It'll probably be a while before I go back, but if you're in search of a sit down meal you could do worse than to try this Applebee's. read more

Literally the worst dining experience, came to Tallahassee from California to move my son into Florida State. Picked this Applebee's after a late night of getting him situated, walked in and sat down and the table was dirty and sticky, waitress apologized and wiped it down. Started by ordering drinks and the appetizers - the sampler & pretzel. Then ordered the rib dinner, chicken tender dinner and Oriental Chicken Salad. 20 minutes later they brought our drinks, 35 minutes after we placed our order still had not received appetizers. Waitress cam out and said she just found out they were out pretzels, still hadn't gotten drinks. When she finally brought the drinks out, the wine glass was clearly covered in lipstick marks, the second glass came was brought to the table the same way. Now more than 40 minutes after placing our order, the waitress comes out and says we are out of ribs, do you want to order something else and declined to order anything else. Dinner is finally brought out minus the ribs, had not gotten any silverware, so asked the waitress, she then brought out plastic silverware. When asked, she said "yeah we just haven't had time to wash the regular silverware yet." The Oriental Chicken Salad that was brought out wasn't even the right order and the chicken wasn't even cooked. Didn't say anything, just asked for the check and left. This is literally one of the worst restaurants I have been to, can't believe there is no corporate oversight because from observation this wasn't a single issue. Got to the restaurant just before 10pm, open until midnight. Great. Seated within a minute or two and then...nothing. crickets. Never saw a server, the bartender was not in attendance at the bar. On Tuesday, October 23rd at around 7:30 I ordered a 3-way sampler and a salad... The salad dish was FILTHY and covered in grease and dirt. IT LOOKED LIKE IT HADNT EVEN BEEN WASHED! I sent it back because of the dirty dish.... 30 minutes later still no replacement salad. We had a movie we were going to be late for. The movie started at 8:40 and it was 8:35 before we could pay our tab. I expressed our concerns to the manager who didn't seem to want to accept any liability, which was irritating, and the server kept saying "its not my fault". I get that it isn't always the servers fault and I was in no way taking it out on her. But she should have seen that plate and known it was dirty and not offered it to a customer. The manager offered no solutions and a piss poor attempt of an excuse. No comps or anything (outside of the salad which I never recieved) This is just not how a business should be run. 1 star because the server was nice. My whole experience was HORRIBLE. To start off, my Husband ordered a sweet tea, my kids lemonade, and I ordered a Bahama Mama. My drink didn't come until after we were done eating and had our to go boxes. server offered to get us my alcoholic drink to go, but never showed up with the to go cup. Despite asking multiple times, I never got that drink(until the end of our meal), silverware, or napkins. They brought my husband and I's food out 20 minutes before the kids meals. one of the Kids meals didnt come out with what we ordered. Service was so slow and terrible, we were there almost two hours. For the last several years my husband and I have frequent in this Applebee's on the 4th of July. it is situated so that you have a somewhat obstructed but not too bad view of the fireworks from Tom Brown Park. I called this year a few days ahead to see about getting reservation, although I have never gotten one in the past, and was told to call the morning of. I just got off the phone to be notified that I needed to turn in $100 fee for the reservation by 5 p.m. this afternoon. when I inquired as to whether this hundred dollars would be applied to our final bill, or given back once we arrived to the establishment, I was told that the fee was for the reservation. And then ask to speak to the manager and was told that they were unavailable, even though this information was supposedly given to them from the manager. I do not see how they can charge simply for a reservation, if it were to be applied to the final bill that would be fine I could see there being $100 minimum to have the reservation (we have spent a minimum of that each year). This seems like a manager trying to make some extra money. Very disappointed. Will not be returning. read more

We asked to sat outside and was informed who our waiter would be but he was super busy which was nice and we asked a nice young lady to turn on the fans, which she did. During her do that the manager scolded her because she had the door to the outside propped opened because she was trying to clean up all the outside tables with zero help. Now, our waiter still had not come out, so the nice young lady took are drink order and deliver them, at Wich time she informed us they would no longer be offering straws or plastic cups in the near future. If that is true we will no longer visit Applebee's because they will nolonger be kid friendly or ADA compliant for folks that need a straw that visit their restaurants. Now, this nice lady also took our order, not our waiter. Our waiter did come out and say he was sorry and thanked the nice young lady for helping us. The waiter assigned to us did handle getting our food out to us which all was hot and was good. The manager of this location should NEVER allow one waiter to get that far behind that other staff has to do their work for them. It was not just us either as the other table outside had delay after delay and also had to get their food redone. When this location of Applebee's opened it was great now it has went downhill severely again just like the previous location did sad. We will NOT be returning. This is the third time I had a terrible meal and experience I ordered a bourbon street steak with no onions and a cesear salad, my mom club sandwich and my dad; chicken tenders and a garden salad. We waited the entire meal and never got checked on for drink refills, never brought out salads, chicken tenders and club sandwich cold. Steak came out with extra onions I advised them of the issue they recooked it and 20 mins later when everyone was done eating the steak came out again the same way with extra onions and not no onions. Also our salads came out after the meal cause I guess to them that seems right. Manager took off a few dollars but still charged us and didn't fix any of the mistakes. Easily in the top five of the best Applebee's I've ever been to. Prompt service, friendly upbeat staff, a location that decorates for the holidays, and awesome bartenders. One of the few Applebee's I have been to that actually delivers to the car instead of assuming that "car-side-to-go" would just come to the bar. They ask on to-go orders if they want it delivered to the car or if they would like to pick it up at the bar. Before coming to this location I realized that every other location I have been to has dropped the ball on this particular amenitie. Ok so I'm giving this Applebee's 5-stars because for what it is, it does it well. The menu was more extensive than I remember it ever being (can't tell you the last time I went to an Applebee's). My boyfriend and I had a gift card for $20 and we stayed almost within that range for the two of us. They have these great date night deals where two meals are $20! Being the carnivore that he is, he got steak. And had no complaints (and he's very picky so that's a big deal). I got the mac and cheese . Oh my Gouda, it was one of my favorite macs I've tried yet! I think it was because there was a good balance of savory cheese coupled with the sweetness of the honey chicken. I could only eat half and was planning on taking the second half home but forgot it! Sauce was extremely sweet- so much that after three bites I didn't want the rest. Buffalo fingers were gross and came wo celery. Husband (big eater) didn't like his cedar plank chicken.
