This is one location that definitely deserves their one-star rating. We made an order of catering for pickup and made sure to have it in hours ahead of time. We requested pickup at 7:00 p.m. We arrived at 7:00. They told us that all the apps were ready, but the ri lets were still cooking. At 7:16 they gave us the food. When we walked out to the car we checked the order and they hadn't even given us half the food we ordered. All the sides were missing. It's now after 7:30, we are very late and people are waiting on us to eat. We have trays of appetizers that have been sitting for at least 30 minutes. This is absolutely ridiculous. The staff seems annoyed at us, for expecting to get what we paid for, which is mind-boggling to me, especially since we have been much nicer and more patient than they deserve. This location does not care about its customers. We will never come here again and we do not recommend it. read more

After my deep tissue massage, I felt the need for something healthy to aid my recovery, so I ordered the Blackened Cajun Salmon, Cilantro Rice, and Caesar Salad at Applebee's curbside window. The service was quick, I used the mobile app and didn't wait long at curbside. However, I was surprised that the salmon didn't look very "blackened" or Cajun..it looked like just regular salmon. Went during lunchtime. Restaurant was full. 10 min wait on table. Only 2 servers. Farrah was extremely nice and attentive. Ordered the all you can eat shrimp. Pretty cool since you can order boneless wings or riblets for your refills. Got 6 shrimp and a handful of fries on the refill. Everything was hot and fresh. Restaurant is a little outdated and bathroom floors are always slick though. read more

Lunch today was so great! I have never been able to come in and order the Bourbon Street & Chicken meal that is steaming hot to the end! Normally if you are able to get it and it comes out sizzling it dies down within 5 minutes of getting it......today the sizzle lasted way longer than that and the oven plate that it is presented to you on was still hot once I completed my meal. That makes me feel that on my previous visits my food wasn't brought out to me immediately after it was prepared. I'm impressed and pleased with the service and food that I received today. If this is how the new management (Greg Jones) brings it to the table, I'm all for it! So I say that if you've previously had a not so good experience, spin the block and try the RM location again! read more

I ordered and paid for my meal on the online website around 9:47 pm. I received notification that my meal would be ready at 10:10 pm. When I arrived to the location, I called and asked for it to be delivered car side. I was told it would be delivered in about 5 minutes. 15 minutes went by and decided to walk in to retrieve my food. I was asked if I submitted to correct location. I said yes after reviewing my mobile receipt. It turns out my order was never submitted to the kitchen. I was in the parking lot at about 10:15 pm and I did not receive my food until about 10:50 pm--10 minutes to closing time. The panic and frantic preparation in the kitchen was obvious. My wonton tacos were not put together. The shells were on one box and the chicken was in another. My grandmother's ribs were cold with some burned and others that did not appear fresh. My mom's battered fish and chips were mostly the breaded material and the loaded mashed potatoes were subpar. None of us received a complete meal. The actual environment of the restaurant was far less welcoming than what I remembered. Very dim lighting with plates stacked on several tables waiting to be collected. Customers were perturbed because of how long it took for them to receive their in-house meal. To-go customers were having to wait an additional 30-35 minutes because their meals were never prepared. But the ultimate telltale sign of the decline was the lack of professionalism exhibited by the (assumed) supervisors/managers and employees. I overheard an employee telling another employee that they were "pissing them off." They were yelling in the kitchen to hurry up and bag food so they could all go home. One employee loudly grunted whenever asked by another employee to please pick up the phone or retrieve a customer's food item. I have many memories at this location but I will not be returning unless there is a significant change beginning with a change in leadership. read more

We waited 10 mins to be seated, another 20 mins to order the adults meals (the kids got to order when we ordered drinks), husbands food came out a full 30 minutes before my own food. So, had a gift card and decided to go use it. First thing I noticed was a strange smell upon entering the restaurant ... kind if a stale sour odor. We pissed the hostess off because wanted to put us at a table and we wanted a booth ... her bad. The table was sticky made you feel icky when you touched it. The server never offered any drink specials snd the sweet tea was absolutely horrible! Traded it in for water and wet a napkin in the glass sweat to wipe my hands. My wife ordered a sangria that had strawberries (?!!!) and the stem end of limes in it and tasted like NO sangria we had ever had ... and not in a good way! My quesadilla was better than ok and my wife said the riblets were alright ... but no handiwipes to clean up after ribs? Nope! Then, we hear our server tell the table behind us about drink specials that sounded good, but he didn't share with us. This place felt like it just needed a good scrubbing and airing out. First and foremost- the only reason I'm giving this location 1 star is because you can't give them 0. We arrived wth no greeter so we sat at the bar. The bartender got our order wrong twice. I'll make this short and sweet- if you want to make money in a service industry job you have to actually care about your job. I can't tell you the person's name because we were never told it. I hate leaving bad reviews because I worked in the service industry for 10+ years. So I get being in the weeds but when there is 4 tables in the entire restaurant with 3 servers and a manager there should be no issues at all. By far the worse Applebee's I have been to. I was first shocked by the people in there. Workers were disgusting, some looked like fiends. My fork was literally covered with a bunch of food. Then once my Bourbon Shrimp & Chicken came out there were 3 strains of hair on my potatoes & was even fried. Tables were extremely sticky & even the chairs. Our food was good. I had a sirloin stir fry and my wife had the chicken mac and cheese something. Waitress was friendly and did a good job. The restaurant itself just looks old inside. It was probably about as clean as they can get it in its current state, but just kind of felt dirty. There was 2 old guys at the bar that were pretty loud and sitting with a waitress who was being rubbed up and down by one of the guys. Get a room already. This review is for Sunday January 26, 2020. Service was horrid. Actually there was no service. We walked in and I had to use restroom. Came back out and wife said no one has even greeted her yet. Another couple walked out as they were sick of waiting. Finally someone greeted us and seated us, well they didn't greet us just seated us. Usually we would have left, but we were hungry. Once seated they left us hanging again. No one greeted us and no one took a drink order. We got up and left. I would have asked to see the manager, but I don't think there was anyone in charge there. The floors were filthy and you could tell they were woefully understaffed. Not a single smile on anyone's face. No one made eye contact and in fact went out of the way to avoid it. Had an interesting experience at this location tonight. Showed up after a Lacrosse tournament down the street and wanted to check in a party of 6. I was told by the hostess that "That ain't gonna work". Then said we would be happy to be seated separately as two parties of three and was told "That ain't gonna work either". We ended up going down the street at one of the 15 other restaurants within a mile radius. Dissapointed because we used to enjoy Applebee's until all the ones near our home closed. This is located in Rocky Mt., NC. Food was good. Service was slow but they were busy. The bathrooms smelled terrible and the toilet wouldn't flush in one stall. The whole restaurant smelled bad and made you want to leave. The table tops were sticky. The carpet was so worn it was like walking on tile. The place needs to be renovated terribly on the inside. This place used to be very nice; however it has gone way downhill. Ate here last night and the restaurant was not very busy, but it took forever for the waitress to come by. When she did, she simply asked us if we knew what we wanted to order. My fiance was alarmed at the condition of the bathroom, bar and dining room. There was tons of trash everywhere. Our food (riblets and chicken tenders) was not great, everything was over fried, barely seasoned and the ribs had almost no sauce. We won't be back. read more

The food was 1hr late from the original pick up time. The food was also incorrect, we were missing two items. We were questioned as to weather we had received the items as if we were lying. After proving we did not receive the items we were greeted with an unnecessary attitude.
