Microwave burned cup

Get your PFA's free with the beer cheese. They clearly microwaved the cup that says do not microwave, then the manager tried to tell me their sauce warmer did it. Funny how the burned parts only where the microwave messed up the container! Liars, and unacceptable behavior by a manger!!

Would be 2 stars except for 3 reasons, one is that my friends fries were lukewarm at best, and his Whisky Burger had parchment paper in it (see photo). The other is the pricing structure. I maybe kind of weird, but when I'm having dinner, I would like a simple house salad. In order to have a salad with your meal, it's either substitute a side with an upcharge of $2.99 or order it as a stand alone for $4.99. Really Applebees??? I had the chicken and shrimp pictured, it was delicious, the staff was attentive. I wasn't wowed, but I wasn't underwhelmed either. Just an average experience. Not sure if I would go out of my way to eat here again.

Came in at 545, wasn't seated until 559. Asked if we could get happy hour apps and was told no and we didn't make it. Didn't want to argue with the waitress. Ordered a beer and there was something in the glass. Asked for a replacement. They did replace it but there was no discount for the nasty glass i had just dranken out of. I know it's Applebees so the bars not too high but come on. Food was mediocre for an Applebees. Won't be back.

Everything you would expect. I don't really know why people go so hard on the reviews. Maybe their expectations are too high, relax. Pandemic has shattered the service industry and they need time to recover. So far excellent customer service and food as expected.

Traditional wings with fries

My wife is picky on her wings but she said they were pretty good, I had the chicken sandwich and it was nice and crispy but you have to eat it quick because it does get moist quick. The fries were cold though which was the only bad part. The waiter was real nice, also coming in there was a man by the door greeting us who also was real nice. I didnt have a problem with the vibe because the workers didn't seem so miserable. The only bad part with service was there was a family of smokers that came in and were sat right behind us and with my wife's pregnancy nose is extra sensitive already and there was room elsewhere to be placed but they were sat right behind us.

Generally speaking, the food is good and we order a whole lot for our table(s) of 6 including drinks and desserts. The kids meals are a solid value - big portions of chicken strips and fries, and another with a grilled cheese and lots of tater tots. The bougie chicken bacon alfredo mac came on a big ole plate and kid #1 who ordered it, says it is very good. Myself and a friend split a Forester burger -- it comes a side, we chose onion rings, and while the burger is great (caramelized onion and gorgonzola are a fire combination), the onion rings were way overcooked to the point there was almost no onion left in the batter lol (saaaad). Kids # 2 and 3 order happy hour mozzarella sticks, soft pretzels, and panko shrimp. Everything is good according to the children and their limited taste buds. Adults order cocktails which are light on alcohol (sad face) but heavy on delicious flavors! Desserts for 3 kids, everyone says everything is great. Beyond the hollow onion rings, our service was a bit sub-par this time around. Kid #2 spilled his entire drink and while we got some help from the server in the form of bringing more napkins to the table, server girl did nothing about the lake of dr pepper on the floor below it. It was disappointing, not gonna lie. Kids are annoying, I get it, but we had to sit with our shoes in this mess. It dried enough in some spots that our shoes were literally sticking to the ground. Server girl also forgot to put the order in for the panko shrimp sooo kid #2 thought he was being punished because he got his shrimp after everyone else practically finished their meals lol. Our tab was close to 200 bucks. I cringe super hard at the thought of paying half that bill, and tipping fairly, if only because my shoe almost came off my foot when I finally stood up to leave. Dr Pepper almost got me.

There are plenty of seating options including an outside patio. Take a look at the ceiling for some unexpected treasures. Linda was our server slash bartender extraordinaire and she is *always efficient, friendly and smiling. I ordered the BLT (yet again) which is loaded to capacity, on perfectly toasted bread. Mr. Wonderful ordered the Sourdough Patty Melt (again as well), obviously we have our favorites. I think we need to come in here more often, since I had forgotten about the new (not so new) seating. Cook James is always on point. Every plate comes out hot, flavorful, and done right. You can tell there's pride behind the grill. The waitresses, Cheyenne, Ashley, Kasey, Donna, and Linda, are a big part of why we keep coming back. They're friendly, fun to chat with, and make you feel genuinely welcome every single visit. We're regulars for breakfast, and the Early Bird special can't be beat. $5.99 ($8.99 with the $3 off) plus free coffee between 8-9am. That's a win any day of the week. You'll most likely see us there during that time because, well... it's our routine. The place itself is nicely decorated with a sporty vibe mixed with an old-style garage feel. Comfortable, casual, and full of character. If you're looking for great breakfast, great people, and a spot that feels like a neighborhood staple, Triangle Tavern delivers every time.

We arrived before 5:00 pm, and it took a while to even put an order in. Even though we were sitting in the bar and there were a LOT of servers/bussers/etc. We ordered the Mushroom burger, the Chicken Bacon Guac burger and the Prime Rib Dip. Let's start with the pros - the Chicken Bacon Guac burger was pretty good! But the Prime Rib Dip had something like shredded meat on it, not sliced meat. So, when you dipped it in the Au jus, chunks of meet fell into the Au jus. Be ready to fish them out with a fork! The Mushroom burger was an exceptionally thin burger. Our server asked how we wanted it cooked. But it didn't matter. A burger that thin was coming out well done, no matter what. It had mushrooms on it, but not many at all. And we ordered the Cajun Tater Tots. Tonight, it was just like someone cooked tater tots, then shook some seasoning on them, and maybe the lid fell off the seasoning? They were drenched in some kind of Cajun-adjacent spice. We had recently been telling visiting guests that the Lost Roo was the one consistent, reasonably priced restaurant on the peninsula. We're going to have to stop telling people that now. Sadly, it'll be a while before we go back.

There were a few people at the bar and a table of 2. We were asked if we were dining we said yes please. We were informed they were prepping hamburger for the next day so it might be a minute. We said no problem we'll just enjoy a beer and wait. We checked out the menu and picked out what we wanted when she was ready to cook. A minute later the server shows up and asks what we wanted to order, I asked didn't we have to wait until the hamburger was prepped. She responded "oh I just like to be prepared." So we placed our order for two burgers and she went back and prepared them. It was interesting people watching... very much a locals place.

I was really disappointed, and it's only the second bar I've ever been to…read more My friend said he thought about taking me here because I'd have a BETTER time than Tower Tavern. Boy was he wrong! This place had extremely drunk people singing horrible karaoke...which, may not be the most unusual. But that was literally the entire population at the time we went...which was PEAK time to be at a bar! Then like I said above, nobody was there, except what my friend assumed were "the regulars." So we felt like flies on the wall for sure. Especially since I don't drink. It felt small and cramped, so when I heard that my friend had been here before "when there was a DJ" and related it to videos he'd Snapchatted, I knew this place wasn't for me. How could you fit in a "concert" of sorts? (His videos looked like a club environment, and waaay more space then what was really available.) I hate to say it, but this place ruined bars for me. They even asked me to pull my mask down when checking my ID. By the way, they didn't card at the door, just after my friend wanted a drink, so I'll bet they were shocked when I literally didn't order anything. Not even water. Overall, this place felt cramped, and the music was ear-piercingly bad. Literally, it gave me a migraine. I'll never be coming back, because the parking was horrible, and it was in a weird location that was enough out of the way. It doesn't get a 1/10 because I don't like bars, so people who do MAY be able to have a better time.
