First time visit at this new location. I had the broccoli cheese soup and grilled chicken cesar salad. Everything tasted great. I was especially impressed with the service. Jesse, our server, was very friendly and attentive. He even noticed my mother had pulled the bread from her sandwich and inquired if she had any problems. She told him no, that she was just trying to avoid gluten and so he offered to bring her some lettuce to wrap the sandwich with. Car side to go order -$67 - Cheese sticks - ok Cesear salad - no dressing Nachos - burnt, most of it inedible 2 of the Shrimp and 4oz Sirloin from Bold menu- shrimp was hard, as if over cooked. 4 oz sirloin turned out to be 2.4 oz, which when we called to inquire they said it's because they weigh before cooked, however, no mention of that on website. Manager mentioned it's like when you go to McDonalds and expect a big burger but they end up flat after it's cooked. Comparing to McDonalds didn't help, especially since we don't eat there. It's unfortunate that we thought we put our order in to the LQ Applebees but realized after the fact it was Indio. Never had any of these problems with LQ. Waste of money. read more

This Applebee's feels larger than others in the area. My party of six arrived around 1 PM and was seated promptly. Our waitress was attentive and refilled drinks in a reasonable amount of time and if other staff noticed we were low, they stepped in and also refilled drinks. I ordered the lunch combo of Honey Chicken Tenders and Fiesta Chopped Salad. The food was presented in an appetizing way and the tenders were awesome. Me and the family came here to spend a gift card I was given. Decor: As expected. Overall, it has a somewhat strange layout, as it's mainly bar, which leads to some strange maneuvers to get around to a table in some areas. I see the other bad reviews here, and please note that my experience, while not perfect, was certainly better than a one star experience. A few points to note: Service: Service, for a weekday evening, was very slow. We were left alone for long stretches of time, especially when we got there and when we wanted to leave. Luckily, the table top devices have games we could plan (which are generally lame, and some cost money - for 1991 level trivia games!). If we could have ordered from the tabletop device and avoided having to wait for a server, that would have definitely made the experience better. Applebees, I hope you're listening. We appreciated that you could pay through the device, rather than wait for a server, but since we had a gift certificate, that didn't work for us. Food: Nothing exceptional here, but I actually liked the food. Great portion sizes, great menu options, and since I have a picky 11 year old, I appreciate that there is food he likes here. Would we come back? There are better options around. If you're only drinking, this might fit the bill. read more

Riblets were almost inedible as there were bone slivers in each piece making tooth breakage a distinct possibility! The "riblets" appeared to be ribs that had been sliced length-wise to the rack creating the thin bone slivers in each piece. Impossible to bite through or cut. I advised the waiter I did not care for this and opted for the chicken tenders. They were heavily breaded and with little taste so not much better. I am normally quite satisfied with the food from Applebee's but this was terrible. The waiter did not offer any substitution or compensation... $13 for lunch and time wasted. read more

All three of us, my 13 year old daughter, 9 year old son and I were seated on a small booth for two, our drinks arrived and needless to say within ten minutes my son spilled my drink, the waitress Kelsey never brought me extra napkins nor offered to help dry up. I sat there with an empty glass and wet napkins in my table until food was served....still no Kelsey...thanks to Chanel that finally offered to refill my glass about 20 minutes later. My daughter asked for the bourbon steak which was too salty she couldn't eat it, my son had the ribs, those were ok.
