This Denny's has been a nice addition to the Bermuda dunes/North La Quinta area. We have been here several times and not only is the breakfast great but the lunch is really good too! What I appreciate most about this place is that everyone is super friendly and the service is excellent!!! Good food, fair pricing, and friendly service... Doesn't get much better than that :) read more

What had an amazing breakfast at Denny's! What I would say was the server, Virgin, was really what made it so special! She was attentive, enthusiastic and thoughtful! She brought us things we hadn't even asked for ( extra napkins, refilled my coffee, butter for our biscuits) things that you normally have to hunt down your waitress to ask for! Our food was hot, fresh and delicious! In addition we look forward to utilizing the Denny's reward app! In addition the restaurant was decorated so cutely for Halloween! You can sense that the owner/ manager cares about the customers' experience! We can't wait to return! read more

I did my turkey dinner on Thanksgiving at Si Bon. It was wonderful. Then, before Christmas, I needed more. What were my choices? Where could I find the perfect Thanksgiving repeat? The answer was only a block away. The new Denny's on Washington. The dinner brought me back to my youth. Turkey, dressing, potatoes, cranberry sauce from a can, and one green vegetable that I didn't like. Just like Mom used to serve. If you ignore the Denny's reputation, this is a nice diner with excellent service and good food. Couldn't ask for more. read more

I just had the most amazing service at a Denny's in Palm Desert, CA. When I went in, it was the breakfast rush and they still had a seat for me at the bar. The place is like a symphony. The wait staff hits you up for coffee, water, order immediately. They have big bright color counter order system that they all can see, track the orders, they have signs up warning staff to not use their cell phones. To check out you can scan your receipt and pay with credit card and add tip. Great service, great food, and reasonable! I'm impressed. And that is hard to do these days, Great job Denny's of Palm Desert! read more

I just had to write to say how wonderful our waitress was when we stopped by for dinner about 7:30 p.m. this week. Sadly, I cannot recall her name, but she had short black hair and wore black horn-rimmed glasses. She was fast with a request and serving, while also creating a welcoming environment for my partner and me. Excellent representative of the restaurant! I hope you will compliment her. :-) read more

Dennys on 42455 Washington in Palm Desert , I have observed and experienced waitresses problems with 2 employees Jamie & Stephanie, these employees they bring your plate late as u can see your plate waiting to be picked up warm, I observed them on their phones by the bathroom like on purpose they don't care about service. One of the waitress has long nails and scratches her hair doesnt wash hands, then serves your plate, 2 bad waitresses management is not doing a good job. Careful being waitress by a Jamie or Stephanie.... read more

I spun the prize wheel and was told that I had won a reward, but I never received the prize that was displayed. This is extremely frustrating because I participated in good faith and expected the outcome shown on the wheel to be honored. It feels misleading and unfair when a prize is displayed as won but is not actually awarded afterward. I would like this issue to be investigated and resolved as soon as possible. If there was a technical error, I would appreciate an explanation and either the prize I won or a fair replacement. From my perspective, the wheel appeared to be rigged or deceptive because the result shown did not match what was ultimately provided. Please review my account and the spin history and help correct this situation. I look forward to a prompt response and a fair resolution. read more

From my experience, I'm surprised that Denny's 0n Washington isn't rated 4-stars or higher. True, the menu is basic diner fare, but always tasty and prepared as requested. The premises is clean as a whistle. What really draws me back each time is the friendliness of the staff. Stephanie was our server this evening and embodies all of the qualities my wife and I expect each time we dine there: welcoming, personable, upbeat, knowledgeable, and eager to please. It's comfortable knowing that any time, day or night, here in the Valley, there's a place nearby where you're always welcome and you never leave hungry! read more

Tried this location multiple times, consistently disappointed. Poor quality food and service. The parking lot seems pretty busy on the regular so maybe I'm missing something or this area is desperate for more breakfast options. If you have a car, or a friend with one some alternatives are places like Breakfast Republic on Town center Way in Palm Desert, Broken Yolk in La Quinta, Cheeky's in Palm Springs, or the hidden gem that is Shield's Cafe in Indio. read more

First off, the light and positivity of the morning was Josh! Truly made me not have a completely terrible time sitting at the bar for breakfast. If Josh wasn't there then I think I would've gone crazy having to keep hearing Will, who I'm assuming is the shift lead, be a sarcastic asshole to his whole team. He's cussing, being rude to his team, truly changing the whole vibe in what other wise could've been handled differently. As a customer his demeanor really left a foul taste in my mouth. I hate to see an arrogant sarcastic asshole be a team's "lead," because if anything they just use these positions as an excuse to be the loudest, be rude, and you know what? That's okay bc he's the lead! Management looking at you... as a customer he made me feel uncomfortable so I can only imagine the other people on your team ... anyway, Will you should try talking to your team like normal equal people! read more

My wife thought we could get a quick breakfast here. We were seated and read the menu, were ready to order in just a few minutes. We waited for a waitress about 10 minutes and gave up and went to the counter for faster service. We ordered and waited and waited. We watched the chef place orders on the shelf that sat there for a long time till a waitress picked and delivered. So far 41 minutes and no food yet. Thinking about walking out. read more

My go to place for breakfast- Good food and lots of choices. Good attentive service and accepts AARP for discount.

I've been here several times and I love it. It is so clean. The staff is so friendly. I actually met the owner. He's wonderful and we wish him the best!!! For those saying that they had to wait, the service was slow / bad blah blah blah, too much butter on my toast, and by the way, who doesn't love butter on their toast -need to be a bit more patient this is a new location you gotta give them a bit of Grace, when it comes to tweaking things and seeing what works and what doesn't. Absolutely loved my turkey sandwich and my seasoned fries & my iced tea !!! My only recommendation is they need to clean the windows and front doors more often please please please clean your windows !! I wish them much success!! read more

This is my third time coming here already. This location may be small, but is very clean and I've never had to wait for a table. The service here is above and beyond. I've been fortunate enough to have server Nakai, he is extremely professional, kind, nice, and on top of his game when it comes to his service. We truly appreciate having him as a server. The food is always warm or hot. Never called unless you order something cold of course. We will be back and thank you again Denny's we're having such great CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Service is always pretty good. Food also is decent. What irked me was they REFUSE to hand out the value menu. We eat here regularly and NEVER are given the value menu. I understand why, lower profits and lower tips, but that's a corporate issue. I always over tip when I order off the value menu. I also seem to focus more on that menu because thru refuse to hand it out. read more

Dennys, long known for inexpensive, tasty food and good coffee just offered one of the worst breakfasts in years. While the coffee is still good, other than the egg, only 1/2 piece of dry and tasteless bacon was on the plate. Where was the other half? The hash browns were slightly rancid. You could taste the oil. And the toast was as dry as this desert. Will not be back to this disappointment, though the Staff was nice and service was quick. read more

My husband and I frequently eat at this Denny's. We know a lot of the people that work here. Last night was "HORRIBLE"!!! We went in and the gentleman who works there was way overloaded with go orders. We waited and waited for service and watched others leave. We finally got up and left. He never came over to any of us because he was all alone and could not handle the go orders. Not his fault. We ended up going to a restaurant we never go to, and it was fantastic. Great service and food. I feel bad for the employees at this Denny's, they always have problems with service do to the fact they do not have enough servers. The owner of this Denny's needs to do some changes, no other restaurant runs with one server. It is sad to see people angry and leave, not a good business practice!!! read more

I don't have pictures for all the food that was ordered, but everything was amazing to the point of perfection. The employees were really nice and considerate and always made sure we were good. Great, reasonable prices. I personally got the loaded French toast because it was new and looked delicious. It was really good but I wish the cream cheese in the middle was a little sweeter but other than that it was a good balance between the strawberry glaze on top. Highly recommend. The crêpe was really good as well, and the hashbrowns were nice and crispy. we also ordered a stack of pancakes that were good. I just wish they would have the butter already spread it on the pancakes. We also got regular French toast that came out well. And the other item we ordered was a chicken fried steak which was delicious but the mac & cheese wasn't the best. read more

5 star review for our server, Sophie! We went after the Janet Jackson concert and Dennys was full with only 2 cooks and Sophie as the ONLY waitress. She was patient and so sweet to everyone while taking orders, delivering food, and at the cash register. Our food was also delicious! I hope the manager takes note of what an amazing employee Sophie is and ensures this location is always fully staffed, especially after such a huge concert. read more

At Denny's the wait was 20 minutes. When they called us there were 6 seats available? Our waitress was at The register getting her tips from the rush of the breakfast. The hostess seated us . Our waitress's was nowhere to be found. Sandra took are order. She wasn't our waitress , but she accommodated us. The cooks under cooked the sausage , undercooked the egg , and smeared too much butter on muffin . I will never go back to there! read more
