I have had a few good runs at this location but WOW did they fall off the cliff last night! Server was ok at best but after taking two attempts at the Bourbon St steak with loaded baked potato I finally surrendered and left after an hour and ten minutes hungry enough to eat the tire off my car! My wife and I had Lunch their on Sunday Dec 1 2019. I can honestly say that it was absolutely horrible ,the service was bad and my shrimp was cold and the steak was very tuff, ask for extra napkins and silverware and a steak knife , we ordered steak , do you not think you need a steak knife to cut a steak ? Ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio and brought Pinot nor and it took forever to get it changed , horrible experience !! We will never dine there again . read more

I went for Easter Sunday and the meal and service was terrible. I will not return. I'm local too.

Should have listen to the reviews about service here. Waiter knew nothing about drinks or their beer. Wasn't sure about barbecue sauces, and was slower then molasses. We asked for take out dessert, it came with ice cream. They put it all together, knowing it was to go. Asked them to fix it, brought it back with an explanation. Your dessert looks messy.....sorry! Sunday afternoon with 6 people. Cars are leaving the lot and there were empty seats everywhere. We stood in the lobby for 30 minutes and the hostess was seating groups like us. We're polite people who never complain but this time iI couldn't let it go. We asked the hostess could we split up and take these two booths. No we don't have servers for those. How about those two booths? No we don't have servers for those either and she was clear that they wouldn't have seats for us anywhere. The one star is for air conditioning. read more

Super disappointing for a national chain. No one to greet or seat us. Finally a server yelled from across the bar someone would be with us shortly, really?? I doubt that is in the training book. We finally sat ourselves in the bar and got our own menus. From the time we walked in the door until we got our food it was 40 minutes and this was at 1:50 in the afternoon and we ordered off the lunch menu. Was not busy but understaffed. No manager to be seen. reminded why we don't go to Applebee's. Service, service, service AppleBee's you dropped the ball! Food was ok - good. This visit here in Foley AL was great from the young lady to the front to my bar tender Kristen was very polite and poised with our order! The manager was even tag teaming the space when there was a crowd coming in while greeting others. Will be back again soon for more good drinks , food and customer service!!! While in Foley on a vacation my children wanted to eat Applebee's after leaving the outlet mall. Parking lot was not packed so we thought that service would be nice and quick. Upon entrance we were told they didn't have a table for 5 (although the restaurant was almost empty) so we asked for a booth. Once seated we had to wait a few minutes for our waitress ASHLEY. My husband ordered the strawberry dollarita, I ordered a water, and then my 3 children ordered their sodas. 5 minutes later the waitress brings back the children's drinks only and with no straws. We wait another few minutes before we flag the waitress to ask for our strawberry drink and water. She then brings those out (and sets them down and still gives us no straws so we ask and she says, "oh so you'll need three" and then gets them out. Additionally, when she brought out the water she also brought me a dollarita when only my husband ordered one. It wasn't a big deal since my husband would drink it anyway, but it may be a big deal to some. We waited a while for food and when the food was brought out the kids meal was wrong. I ordered a pasta and she does not even bring a fork. I thought the chicken was delicious and the 3 cheese Alfredo sauce was bland. Once I saw her again I asked for a fork and she has another waitress bring out 5 forks and 5 steak knives (why did a kids corn dog meal need a steak knife anyway?) My husband ordered 20 wings and was only given one small cup of ranch, he asked for another and was charged .50 for it. My husband said the wings tasted like frozen wings but we're still enjoyable. When we received the bill it was $58.83 so I paid with a $100 bill and when Ashley returned the change she says, "I didn't have enough change to give you .17 so I gave you a quarter instead." At this point I go to my car and realize while putting my money away that she also decided to give herself a $1.00 of my change or she just cannot count because I was a $1 short. It was only a dollar so not worth the trouble to go back but it was enough to make me never come here again. Very rude customer service right off the bat. Hostess very rude and uncaring about doing her job. Waited 15 mins at the door waiting to be seated while she was running around with no sign of management helping to fix the problem. Finally seated and waited for 10 minutes to be greeted. Does this unit not know about customer service, teamwork, and management presence affects customer perception. At lest Amy did well to recover the bad situation. read more

Sat at the door for 5 minutes before someone decided to seat us. We didn't see a server for 12 minutes after we sat down. Management got our drink order finally. We got our drinks then manager took our food order stat there still never saw out server. Then waited 30 minutes for our food. Management didn't order our Food correctly. Finally saw our server told him what was wrong. Food was good. That's a point but we didn't get our checks at all server made us rewrite out order and then we just paid what we thought was the right amount and left. I'll never eat there again. read more

I will never spend money at this restaurant in my ENTIRE life. I live here in foley and went her one night after work, on a Saturday, and they close a 1 and they wouldn't not seat us because they where lazy. And then she lied saying there grill was broken when we called but when we first went they said they just at 2 cooks. read more

My husband and I have always enjoyed eating my at applebees the food is always very good and fresh and the staff is always very friendly and helpful my only wish is they would bring back the Orange chicken the price are very reasonable and I can't ever remember having a long wait to be seated or to receive my food read more
