Applebees If you have been in one Applebees you have seen them all. They have a large menu and list the calories per entry which is nice. We started with the classic combo, southwestern chicken salad and ribs. Everything was prepared well and their ribs were pretty good. This is Applebee's and you know what you get. Generally good food for great prices. We are in town and wanted something different and predictable (we don't have any Applebee's in Houston anymore). Our server was attentive and on it. Our food was good and arrived as expected. No complaints on food and service. Unfortunately - my only complaint was this establishment made NO attempt to enforce mask order. I watched 7 different parties (sized from 2 - 8 people) walk in, wait to be seated, greeted by employee - with no masks whatsoever. Not one time did anyone from Applebee's ask anyone to mask up. All the employees were masked up, I give them that. All other restaurants in this area have been asking folks to wear them upon entry and when exiting. No way I'll bring my family back here. The food was dry and the bone in wings which are usually huge was served to us as tiny party wings, which were hard and dry. We ordered pizza for the baby and it was so greasy he would not eat it. There was and I repeat no social distancing being done and I expressed my concerns to the manager and general manager. Good place if you want cheap and fast food. My husband ordered the quesadilla burger and I order the four cheese sweet chicken tender pasta with bacon. Our server nice was fast and sweet. Upon arriving before other guests I was told to wait. After waiting, I was told that me and my partner would begin the "new wait". But since we had been there, he would allow us to sit at the bar. We agreed. He handed us our menus and left us to direct ourselves. The bartender was clearly exhausted and barely wanted to serve us. I have been a guest here for over 15 years, and to say the place is dwindling in down, is and understatement. Hopefully new help or management will change the experience soon. read more

The hostess tried to sit my son and I at a dirty table. I asked if she could have someone wipe it down she grabbed a towel and unfortunately she put more food particles on the table from the towel. I asked if she could get a clean towel she informed me that was the towel she had to use. 12/12/2019 I don't do yelp reviews very often. It has to be bad. My husband ordered four cheese Mac and cheese with chicken tenders. The pasta came out with no visible cheese whatsoever and the chicken tenders had so much grease that they were literally shiny. My chicken had no taste and my potatoes were cold. I visited this location last night with my daughter who is 5 1/2 months pregnant. The person who sat us acted like it was an inconvenience to do it. I got an appetizer and the chicken strips with a salad and green beans. My daughter got a fried chicken salad with a side order of French fries with mustard. When the server (not ours) brought brought out our food, my daughter asked for the yellow mustard. I understand that we're going through rough times, and restaurants are trying to do there best , but this was one of the worst dining experience s of my life. The place was filthy first of all I watched constantly as they just swept the tables on to the floor and just walked through the mess. They refused to let us sit where we liked which was at a low bar table. The bartender spent five minutes at the bar the hour and a half we were there it took 20 minutes to get our drinks . Meal was great. Excellent service! Problem noted though was the entire time we were here, your staff was diligent with the correct wearing of their masks with the exception of your bartender. She wore her mask below her nose the entire time we were there. It doesn't seem like she was in compliance with current COVID 19 regulations. Might as well not have been wearing one! read more

The food was good but our waiter Justin was fantastic. He communicated well and there was no question about our order.

Waited 30 minutes just to be placed at a table that was secluded and empty the entire time we waited. The crew working was terrible, excpet our server. She was pleasant and helpful. Wish i wouldve gotten her name. Liam on the other hand, argued with a customer while we waited and then proceeded to refer to said customer as a "motherfucker" to OTHER CUSTOMERS. Liam then walked over to our table as we were talking to our server about talking to a manager and said "i didnt say anything about y'all" and i let him have it to say the least. He replied with "well then dont talk to me!" I DIDNT ASK YOU TO WALK UP TO MY TABLE AND PUT YOUR INPUT IN. This location needs some SERIOUS team building to be done. Employees bickering across rhe restaurant about having to bus another employees tables is bullshit. Work together, get your jobs done, clock out and go home. That is all that needs to be done. Server was not knowledgeable about the menu. she also was not professional. We asked for a table and she sat us at a booth. She also messed up our ticket about four times and had to redo it. She continued to argue with us to eventually end up being wrong. When she sat us at our table, she neglected to bring us silverware and menus.
