It's been 6 years since my first review, and Rotolo's is still one of my absolutely favorite places to get gluten free crust. AND they have an arcade in the back :0) I only minus one star due to realizing I would not order the adult size pizza again (felt it was under cooked) I was jealous of the kids pizza (pure perfection) and when I'm in town again, if we venture here, I'll be ordering the childrens size for myself too!!! This was my first time at this place. We picked the pizzas up because delivery would have been 2 hour wait. It was nice and hot but I am picky about my everything so I wasn't pleased with this pizza. I don't like a lot of red sauce, it's so thick, I believe a little goes a long way. Not only was it too saucy but the sauce was so dark in color which to me meant very tomato pasty. If you like thick red sauce then this is your place. It was a bit high cost wise as well as everything is these days. I think if the sauce had been a bit lighter the pizza would have been good. We came back again, and this time with friends. We had more of a variety of food. It was all very good again. The Children's Mac and Cheese is definitely portioned for older kids, my toddler could have eaten off this for 3 days. My friends enjoyed the calzones. Stop reading the 1 star reviews. Anyone that walks out before ordering doesn't count. Anyone who says they are intimidated by kitchen staff is, well, going to be intimidated by butter at some point. To start we felt like we were in a sauna the whole time because it was so hot. Secondly, our service was awful. The waitress had a terrible attitude and made it seem that she did not want to be there, much less serve us. She stood behind us at least 6-7 feet to ask us our orders. She didn't tell us who had what when placing our food on the table. And when it came time to pay, our tickets were wrong twice. She brought change to someone who paid with a card. She brought cash but not coin change and said "I can go get your 75c if you want it." On top of the bad service, our supreme pizza tasted like it was warmed in a microwave. We liked Rotolo's for years. Sadly, the pizza has gone downhill. Tasteless crust, bland skimpy cheese and sauce is way too sweet. Parmesan Bites were our favorite appetizer, not anymore. No flavor. This our go to restaurant for pizza. The pizza crusis thick and yummy. The marinara sauce has just the right spice, mild and they don't load up the pizza with too much sauce. The ingredients are fresh. The waitresses are very nice and they make the experience very happy and pleasant. The wings are mildly spiced but you can order them as Spivey as you would like. They are large wing, I couldn't finish the 10 piece dinner. The blue cheese dressing is unremarkable, but tasted fine. read more
