I love Applebee's, perfect for my WW lifestyle, Steak, Shrimp, Salmon, with perfect sides. Now if they would love me and my neighbors by putting a restaurant in the 76133 area code, that would be Special. Chris "Gotcha" Wilson read more

We went by on the all you can eat chicken wings/ riblits and had a good dinner. Restaurant was clean and the staff helpful.

Riding the mechanical bull here is a MUST, this bull was going SOO CRAZY which is awesome sauce

This place is horrible. Meaning the corporate aspect.the chef Ahmad is amazing and makes the greatest food but the hours and lack of staff in here is horrific.... overworkering managers who are getting paid pennies for the amount they put into here is not fair or ethical. Behind the scenes there are ver very rich wealthy people laughing at this statement on their yacht..... read more

Had several visits to other Applebee's. Unfortunately, this location was not up to par. Had dry meat from being overcooked and was served warm. Not sure if it continued to cook while waiting for our order, but I would much rather get my plate hot before waiting to make sure all meals are delivered together. They may have a rule for this, but could easily be something the staff offers to appease all patrons. read more

Stopped in for a quick bite at around 4:30 so it was not busy at all. We ordered the Classic Combo App which we have ordered many times. The only things worth eating were the lukewarm boneless wings and the quesadillas. The Mozzarella sticks were cold the cheese was not even warm. The tortilla chips were so stale and tough that you could not possibly eat them. We told the waitress about it and she said she would go tell them. We thought the manager would come out so we could tell them why we were not satisfied...but I guess they did not care. When she brought the bill, they managed to take a whopping $3.50 off. Needless to say, it will be a long, long time before we go back, if at all. read more

We went for lunch, had SHELLY as the waitress! She got us right! Was fast. And we enjoyed this meal! Filling!!!!! So so tasty!! Loaded chicken fajitas at 10.99 each ! Affordable to eat! No guilt on paying the bill. Waitress was nice. Checked on us. She earned her tip.. lol. They give u plenty to eat. The chicken is over rice n cooked onions and sweet peppers. Then a side plate with guacamole , sour cream, lettuce, a pico , and shredded cz!!!!! Four flour tortillas--- those are served hot!! You gotta go try this new plate!!! We don't have ruby tequila 's..... so u can opt out fir this!! Very good, reasonable price!!! Right now... 10.99!!! Plus new drink specials!! Enjoy!! ( I did!!) read more

I love this place, best steaks around and if you don't like it the manager will have it made to your liking. The only complaint I have is, the waitress peeped into my husbands wallet and made a comment, "I sure would like to have all that cash, followed by, where do you work? We left a rather large tip for this money hungry waitress who was pregnant at the time. We want to enjoy our meal and return home happily. I think it was very rude of her being that we are a family. We will continue to go but request a different waiter. I did inform a gentleman about her behavior. Not classy! read more

Decided to come here for lunch. All I am going to say is that I wasn't aware that this place allowed smoking "at the bar". Being that I don't smoke. I was not impressed by this establishment at all!! Food and cigarette smoke?! read more

Horrible! Do NOT go here! waited for 40 minutes, not given menus, ignored by server, then she lied and said she didnt see us.....sitting between the 2 other tables she'd been serving. My steak was still mooing and my husbands was jerky. Server kept delivering our stuff to the wrong tables. My husband heard her talking shit to her manager. We tried to use Visa gift cards and they said they werent working even though they had more than enough on them to cover the tab. When the server told us this her manager was laughing when she came back with my other card. We did not tip her cause of her managers lies and her horrible service. Go anywhere else! The mostly empty restaurant should have tipped us off....... read more

This is my go to restaurant. Really good drinks, food very consistent and always good and good prices l. people have been very friendly and accommodating only had 1 bad time when I upset the greeter when she told us we had a 40 minute wait and they had many tables open I tried to get her to let us sit at the bar but the bar tender was helping plate meals ? So she had us wait at the door They were very short handed and I completely understood, I tried to apologize for upsetting her that was not at all my intentions , she didn't change her mood and I felt bad she was stressing so bad, my wife and I decided to leave for outback and still regret it . I really like Applebees and will be back in disguise read more

It is 2019...smoking in public places and especially food establishments is disgusting. I don't care this is small town Texas, go outside! They claim the smoke only reaches the bar, but the entire restaurant stinks and smells of old smoke and new smoke. It even permeates the food. Find a different place. read more

Walked in, walked right out. The stench of cigarette smoke is overwhelmingly disgusting. Applebee's food is decent, but no where near good enough to sit and smell people smoking cigarettes and the health risks associated with that. We had our baby with us, saw multiple people smoking at the bar. Not worth getting cancer over Applebee's. read more

The entire restaurant smells like an ashtray. They allow smoking at the bar however it permeates into the entire restaurant. Our server explained that she was almost off and wanted us to "eat and leave." Odd comment from someone who probably supports a $15.00/hour minimum wage. Our food came, drinks needed refills... our server was nowhere to be seen. Twenty minutes go by... Still no refills. We needed extra napkins too but it was obvious our server didn't care. The best part? When we needed to tab out, she ran our card on the table side kiosk, then put the tip on 20%! Hilarious!!! Here's a tip: avoid this Applebee's at every cost. It's a dump. read more

terrible service i just wanted good food and got hung up on, ignored. told what in the rudest tone. i am so upset that this is the new generation. read more

I have been to the Applebee's many times and I've never had a bad experience and have always had friendly service and good food. I've come for lunch, supper, as well as for a fun night out of singing karaoke a few years ago and not once have I been disappointed. read more

Extremely disgusted by this place. I wouldn't waste my time or money here again. I took my child to the restroom and my shoe stuck to the floor and came off my foot! Bugs in the corners, smelled like sewer. Called to talk to the manager and he wasn't the least bit upset about our poor experience. read more

Terrible experiment the people here smoke it smells like smoke the sisters carry your drinks with there bare hands and when I got my drink the waiters finger was in my drink and I ordered a sprite it tasted terrible like a homemade sprite I don't consider coming back here again read more

I have been here 2 times so far and I had very good service both times. The first time we sat at the bar and had drinks and appetizers. The drinks prices there are very good and they tasted decent. The bartender during that visit was very good, he made my wife a lifesaver shooter which she enjoyed. The baked pretzel sticks are a must try My second visit, I sat in a booth with a couple coworkers and I had drinks and they had food. It was a very good experience. Overall I am a fan because of the drinks specials and pretzel bites I think the rest of the food is just okay. read more

Had the worst experience here. They took forever to bring out our food and it was way over cooked. More like burnt. Service was so slow and they kept using the same excuse about the kitchen being backed up and it wasn't even packed! Close this establishment down already! read more

Costed too much. Took an hour to get food. Server visited table 3 times. Don't come here for God sakes. The price isn't worth the quality of the food. They messed chicken tenders. You'd have to be brain dead to mess up chicken tenders. RIP chicken tendys read more

This place is a waste of money. The prices are high and the food is terrible. The service is slow so be prepared to wait for your drink order, wait for your food, and again for the check at the end. The food is low quality and usually overdone. My family will not be eating applebee's again. read more

The service as far as our waitress was good.. the fact that there was an abundance of ants was little disturbing we move 3 booths to a table finally got away from the ants ... they say ... there should be no reason ants are crawling on me the table or given the chance my food read more

The food is ok, but not worth the haze of cigarette smoke you have to sit in. Tried to get an order to go to avoid that, but you have to order at the bar, which is where everyone smokes. I tried to wait it out when a man came up and sat on the stool right next to me and lit up a cigarette. There wasn't another open stool that wasn't next to a smoker. I tried to get the bartender's attention to pay and wait elsewhere but they were busy, tried to pay the host but they said I had to pay at the bar. Still couldn't get the bartenders' attention. I canceled my order and left. I'm done. The food is ok, but certainly isn't worth the stench and health effects of the smoke. read more

Mattie (server) was sweet. Great service! I don't think Applebee's is known for the food and it shows. Drinks are cheap and ok. Order appetizers and you should be ok. read more

Mediocre food. Over spiced and over cooked. Waitress was the definition of inattentive. Had to ask for silverware 2x, refills on drinks 2x, she never removed empty dishes from the table and never asked if we wanted dessert. Which we did. We're going to braums for dessert. Screw this place. I only came here bc my spouse wanted to. Heaven only knows why. read more

The food was good the service was good!! The problem is their bar area is smoking!! The bar is not walled off from the eating area. I thought we walked into a smoke filled pool room. I don't think they will pay my dry cleaning bill! Even though the food was very good I don't think we will be back Come on Applebee's!!!!! Get with the trend and have your complete Resturant non smoking!!! Came back 7-3-17 Bar is still smoking like a train!!!!!! Applebee's do you even look at these reviews??? Go non smoking!!! Like the other great restaurants in Amarillo read more

Restaurant is great except...smoking in bar area that permeates the whole dinning room! The food is good and the staff is kind and helpful. Love to go there except for the smoke! All other restaurants in Amarillo ate smoke free, this one needs to get onboard. Seen several people come in and leave because of this. read more

TL;DR - this place is a scam, unprofessional, and will rip you off! Don't touch with a 10-foot pole!! Negative stars, if it were an option. Placed my Grubhub order around 9pm, website said it'd take 35 min. Over an hour passes, nothing. Tried calling the restaurant, but they were already closed. I understand the possibility of a delay (bad weather) but I was barely a mile away (at the Hilton hotel)! Finally, got a call from the Grubhub dude who says he's pulling up, and to come to the front outside to his car window. Weird and a little worrisome, but whatever, I'm starving by then. He motions to the bag sitting on the passenger seat. When I peak in the bag, it's nowhere near what I ordered. The food he's supposed to be delivering is also mixed with his personal groceries (he was even like "don't take those, those are mine") I tell him I'm not taking the food because it's not what I ordered, and I want my money back. He shrugs and said that's what he was given - at which I apologize to him because I haven't eaten anything since 7am, driven 400 miles in ice storms and I'm about to lose my temper. No food. Still charged the full amount though. Called applebee's today and was put on the phone with a supervisor, who says I may not get my money back. Wait, not getting money back FOR THE FOOD I DIDN'T RECEIVE?! While I'm on hold, I can hear employees in the background singing and saying some kinda-unprofessional things loudly (dunno why you'd just put the person on hold - every modern phone has this feature). The supposed "supervisor" took my info to have HIS boss call me back. Which hasn't happened. All in all, a bizarre and ridiculous experience. Given the level of pure stupidity, I'm shocked this place is even in businesses. read more

Had lunch there today . Amarillo Texas :'( Not a good experience at all . I worked in Food service for 42 years . Worst experience ever !! Had a water and an unsweet tea and two salads . Took 20 minutes to get our salads and they were a bowl of lettuce and 2 "slivers" of boiled egg with a very small fried chicken strip and watered down dressing :'( That's all that was in it .Waitress never came back to check on us after we got our food . Went to the rest room ( ladies room) and my shoes stuck to the floor, the walls of the stall were filthy . And I had to wipe the toilet seat off before I could sit on it and it didn't look like the toilet bowl had been cleaned in days . We will be driving the extra few miles to Chili's from now on . They are way better anyway . By the way I am from Borger Texas not Meridian Id read more

Food was great. Service was great. Big Problem with Cigarette Smoke in bar area which is dead center in the restaurant. Had a horrible headache the next day. No social distancing in the same area. Might go again for take out, but will nor return to dine in as long as smoking is allowed inside & social protocols are not observed. read more

Terrible service. Got up and walked out and nobody said a word and there were plenty of people standing around doing nothing. Will never be back with so many good choices who are happy to have you as a customer. read more

This was the worst experience Ive ever had at applebees, it took over an hour to get our food and kept getting the same excuse that the kitchen was understaffed. When we finally got our food it was very undercooked on the inside and extremely burnt on the outside, I feel like im gonna be sick from the food. The music was really loud and the waitstaff never took care of us, we had to ask for refills all the time as they never came over to our table. We were told a manager was going to come over and talk to us but that never happened either. This place needs to be shut down ASAP read more

Don't recommend! It reeked really bad like cigarettes, servers weren't all there and took forever to greet! They also ran out of a lot of the appetizers which seemed bizarre. If you're really hungry I suggest going somewhere else. This isn't the place to go. read more

Went in the door and was hit by a wall of smoke from folks at the bar. Maybe I'll go back when and if they go smoke-free and they improve their service and food. I'm guessing that is why they closed the one on the other side of town! read more

People smoking at the bar while I'm being sat at a table next to the bar blows my mind. It's 2017, this is so rude and gross to everyone else in the restaurant. Not sure if this is an Amarillo-wide policy or just this establishment, but we got our food to go. read more

Slow service. Had to ask for straws. Appetizers not served with plates; forced to use napkins. When server asked if we wanted more napkins they walked away before we could answer. Undersized portions. Not returning read more

This the worse Applebee's that I have been to. They allow smoking at the bar which pots into the whole restaurant. The steak was tough and dried out. If I could I'd rate this with -5 stars read more

Food is great, But the cigarette smoke is horrible. You smell like cigarettes when you leave.
