We went for lunch. The server was pleasant but had a whole side of the restaurant by herself. The table was dirty. It took 50 min to get food which was ordered off the lunch menu. We arrived late around 10:30pm on July 4th, excited they were open. They said they'd be open till midnight. We first sat at the bar, but the speakers above the bar was playing music much too loud. We moved to a booth which was much nicer to our ears. Our server Matt was great and patient as we changed our minds several times on menu items while ordering. We settled on 2 for $25 deal with 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. Our appetizer came out quicky, we had mozzarella sticks. They come 8 to an order and they were crispy and the cheese had a great pull and chew. Yummy marinara sauce. I got the blackened salmon, comes with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was surprisingly tasty. Hub got Mac and cheese topped with fried chicken strips. He like the mac and cheese for the first few bites, then said it was just mac with alfredo sauce and lost interest. Went to Applebees for lunch today about 1230. Not too busy. Ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. Absolutely no flavor other than charbroiled chicken. No onion flavor, no mushroom flavor, no shrimp flavor, & no flavor to the mashed potatoes. Definitely no blackening spices or anything cajun related. My wife & daughter both got the cajun grilled salmon & same there not blackened, just charbroiled, garlic mashed potatoes with no flavor. No garlic, no parsley, no nothing. Only thing with flavor was broccoli & iced tea. Ambiance- table was sticky all over. Like top was stained with urethane & wiped down for years & just had a sticky residue. Tile floors were sticky & you could hear anyone wearing rubber soled shoes walking on the tile. Pretty disappointed in the $50 we spent on 3 subpar lunches! read more

Driving through Louisiana headed to Colorado after 14 hours of driving to check into a hotel that recommended Applebee's for good food as we entered Applebee it took about six minutes to be asked if you gonna be seated at the bar we chose the bar as we seated ourselves we had to greet the bartender at that time she informed us is it gonna be a few minutes because she was busy in the kitchen after 15 minutes she came and took our drink orders when she returned with our order it told her we were ready to order our food husband ordered a double Hennessy with a Bud Light chaser I ordered the Bahamas mama drink kindly let her know we were ready to order. She told her in a dry town to wait a minute and she proceeded to take the gentleman's order who had just came to be seated. We waited over 15 minutes before she took our order after the gentleman told her that he was not ready to order she proceeded to pass, leave the bar and tend to a table behind us at this time. We were sat down immediately. Multiple servers not doing their job. Wasn't checked on by anyone. No one asked about what we want to drink until 30 minutes later, no excuse either because it wasn't busy and the server was on her phone. Stayed there for a whole hour and food hasn't came in. Ordered a curbside order yesterday. When my phone said order was ready i called the restaurant and they said they dont take out orders when its dark and wed have to go inside. We went inside and were told our order was not ready yet. So we waited and waited and about 30 minutes go by and i called and they leave me on hold for a few minutes. Finally the food come out , the kid spills drinks handing drinks to us and just says "oops". Food was COLD! No utensils or napkins or straws. Horrible service! read more

Ordered through Uber on July 20th. 3 orders salmon, chicken strips and lime chicken nachos. Order arrived and the nachos were horrible!! First no chicken, second chips tasted stale, third queso was cold and not very tasty. We have ordered from Applebee's many many times. But they have lost my business!! So my wife and I are in town for a graduation and got in late and hungry. So I ordered from this restaurant via Uber and I ordered the fish and chips with a raspberry tea and my wife opted for the club sandwich with a tomato basil soup. The food was delivered promptly and nothing against the delivery service or driver but the food was bland and just not good. My fish was soft and soggy, the fries had no seasoning and I didn't receive my tea oh and my tortilla soup was salty. My wife's sandwich was ok but her soup was blah. The best part of the meal was the little donut holes as those were fluffy and delicious. Would not and will not order from this establishment ever again. read more

Won't go back! Service was awful! We ordered a hamburger and chicken fingers and fries were stone cold. We let our waitress know that our fries were stone cold she brought us another batch of fries that were also stone cold. To our disbelief, she could've cared less never apologized didn't go back to get us hot fries, never asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks,and how were things! Friendly service but unclean overall, to the point where you wonder if people are getting sick after eating here. Plates and silverware are just gross. Stopped in on a road trip and was really shocked by the lack of clean dishes & flatware. You could see by looking and feeling that they were unclean. Had to ask 3x for clean silverware & a manager helped and by the time we got clean silverware, the food was cold. As we were walking out, noticed the floor was gross as well (for example a used bandaid in the entryway, etc). People were nice but I can't imagine it's safe to eat here because when the front of house isn't clean you gotta wonder what's going on back in the kitchen... read more

Despite the covid crises, we did not have to wait long for a table. Our waitress was very friendly and so was the manager who co-weighted on us. The cook took pride in his serving his food. He didn't just throw it on a plate. He took time to make the dish look pretty. That's rare to me. It also tasted wonderful. Both my grandmother and I enjoyed our meals and time there. read more

I'm a very picky eater, (vegetarian, here) and worse, I'm pretty harsh when it comes to corporate restaurant chains. (Looking at you Golden Corral). I'm not a regular Applebees customer. (Not a single vegetarian entree option , though healthy and gluten free is available, if that's your kick) So I should have been royally screwed then how and why 5 stars freely given from this grouchy, vegetarian curmudgeon? Because, this waitstaff, bartender and kitchen is bringing their A game! The salad is perfectly proportioned, fresh and crisp. The veggies are so alive it's like they just got picked. The food LOOKS LIKE THE ADS ON THIER MENUS, YALL!!! I'm not a meat eater but the smells and plates of food coming out of that kitchen are having me question my dietary religion. My food was p.e.r.f.e.c.t I just felt like it was made by people who seriously give a damn and that $&@ing matters. Bravo unsung kitchen staff heroes. Bravo! Drinks are 100% accurate. Yes, have another cause you know some places can mess up a vodka tonic and this one was bliss. And the staff, are professional, chill and just cool as hell. I came here on a slow afternoon with my kids. I don't know if they're trying to save on their energy bill or what but it was extremely hot in the restaurant so much so that I asked for the air conditioner to be turned on, one of the waitresses had so much sweat on her neck that her hair was sticking to her,I feel bad for the people working there. The food was absolute garbage. I had to send my steak back because it only touch the grill on one side I need I'm not eating it anyway I think they may have forgotten to salt it. Drinks ordered weren't served, didn't bring napkins nor silverware, didn't refill even after seeing that the drink needed to be refilled, another server approached the table and asked if our server was doing ok, people had to go up to the bar to get their drink. We came in really late... it was 10:30pm... but the the staff was smiling and welcoming. Service was really slow, but that was because they had only one chef on duty serving the tables. It was obvious that the food was made in a rush- and brought out as quickly as it was made- but that just made for dry shrimp, watery tomato bisque and a tiny dry steak.
