Nice enough place. Great open space, lots of games, TVs, and even nice leather couches to relax and get into the games. The service on the other hand is quite the opposite. Cierra the bartender has a repulsive attitude. Absolutely classless. read more

Mulligans Sports Pub - Tvs, games, and couches - Sports Bars Near Me - Amarillo, Texas

I feel that in most respects Mulligans is a 3-star spot. But what pushes it up to 4 star for me is their Tuesday night trivia. As far as the bar itself, it's spacious with plenty of seating. There is also plenty to keep you entertained in terms of bar games. They have TVs all over the place and are pretty good at finding the game you want to watch. They have food and snacks in case you get hungry. It's typical pub grub and fairly forgettable. But at least you can order food. Alright, now on to trivia. Every Tuesday night at 7PM they have pub trivia. This is what has kept me coming back week after week. The set up is simple, easy, and free to play. First and second place get gif cards ($50 and $25 respectively). It would be cool to see third place get something small but I'm not complaining. One of the coolest aspects of trivia, is that week in and week out you have the same teams showing up. I've found it be incredibly fun and strongly suggest you check it out. read more

The place itself looks average but well kept. Bar food is good, cost is slightly above where they should be for the amount you get, but good. Staff were ensuring that we were taken care of the whole time me and my friends were there. I would go back. read more

Last Saturday night I went with a group of friends and some young brunette "bartender" seemed more interested in talking to her coworkers and slopped together the drinks I ordered. They were poured incorrectly and tasted awful. I usually enjoy going to this place but the staff needs to understand they are in the hospitality industry and not a private social club. Management needs to train their employees better. read more

Such a relaxed bar vibe. I walked in, was welcomed by the bartender immediately and got away with two beers, chicken strips and fries for under $15 bucks! They had every game playing and it wasn't super busy. Perfect for a chill Sunday or Saturday afternoon sports bar stop read more

I usually frequent places closer to home, but I try to make it to Mulligans twice a month on Wednesdays to catch up with friends and play poker. The place is ok, but after my experience tonight (see below if you care), I'll never go back to this place. What happened: I signed up for the 9:30 game, took my chips, and walked to an open seat. I asked Jeff, the tournament director of the chair was open and he said yes. I was then asked to move, which I denied and then Jeff came back and said if I didn't move, I couldn't play. So I paid my tab, left and don't plan on ever coming back. I was obviously outnumbered by the regulars that go there. read more

Coming back to Texas that's what I expect the bar to be. Great service and great bar food!!!

Fun trivia on Tuesdays but outdoor patio is just for the smokers and service is not that stellar. No menus given, subpar bar food, overly fried wings. read more

If you are looking for a place to hang out with friends that is relaxing and welcoming, this is the place. The bartenders/waitstaff are friendly and will take good care of you. The pub grub is tasty and the clientele are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. read more

Another great bar in the so called "bar row" of Amarillo. Great layout, very open, lots of space and plenty of tables. Bar was a little slow for service, strangely it was the woman bartender kicking ass and the guy bartenders spending their time flirting. Very good beer selection on tap and nice assortment of liquors too. Plenty of televisions, we were able to watch both NCAA games at the same time without having to look back and forth to different spots. Pool tables, video games and freaking foosball! Definitely enjoyed myself. read more

The atmosphere at 4 pm on a Saturday afternoon was pretty quiet, but that's how I like it! We were visiting from out of town and looking for a place to shoot some darts. This was the 2nd stop and by the far the best. It's non-smoking which is what I'm used to, so I was happy!. Fried jalapeño slices and hot wings were awesome. Don't miss this gem!!! read more

Favorite sports pub in Amarillo. Love trivia night on Tuesdays. Now that it's non-smoking it's even better! Ownership and employees are very nice. read more

My team and I came here from out of State for the new year celebration. The servers are very rude, and as we spent upwards of 400 dollars at the bar, the the bartenders refused to serve us. As minorities, it pains me to have to say this in 2017 but we were discriminated against. Upon being pushed out of the building by security, they began throwing punches and police arrived to detain us. After detainment, the officer said it themselves, the security here is unprofessional, and is hurting the business more than it is helping. We were released after an hour of the security giving BS reports to the cops. read more

Don't even bother stopping by if you are from out of state. The staff refuses to serve anyone without a Texas ID.

Terrible. They have like 3 TVs that are all small and like 8 years old. I would not recommend coming here to watch a game, any game. It's dirty and smoky and generally run down. They usually have 1-2 bartenders and maybe 2 waitresses for the entire place (it's pretty big), so don't count on any service if its remotely crowded. The sole redeeming quality of this place is that they have cheap beer specials on the off days. read more

Good drinks, Great staff, stellar ownership. They have good bar food and the staff is attentive and fun

Not sure why this place doesn't have more stars! Then again, my review is going to a little biased since I came here with a friend for a private party and of course the open bar didn't hurt. To be honest, I didn't expect Mulligans to be on the corner of a strip center. The pros about this were that there was plenty of parking for everyone. The whole bar was closed for a private event and the open bar fulfilled everyone's drink orders in a timely fashion. Not once was I left without a drink, and the bartenders were able to creatively make some strong tasty adult beverages. The DJ was old but he played all requests and had both the oldies and the most popular music available. An important part of any bar is the restroom. The women's restroom weren't filthy so that was a plus. Overall, pretty fun place with games, good music, and good drinks. read more

This is how stupid this place is and why it will never do great. Game six if the World Series... with the TEXAS Rangers a win away from winning it all, and what does this "sports bar" have going on? A damned sound check for some old-timer band.... playing the next day!!! Ridiculous. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. This place is unprofessional. I will never be going back here! Terrible service terrible management.

It was a little busy but it shouldnt have been so difficult to get the bartender to get a beer. He took 4 orders from people behind me before I finally told him I had been waiting for 10 mins. Will not return. read more

Went there with a group of friends several times!! Amazing staff friendly and very welcoming, returned with my wife and had a few drinks and something to eat. 5star rating, definitely the best sports bar in town!!! read more

This place has really grown on me. Good spot to just chill and have a few drinks with friends. Tuesday is $2 beer day, come thirsty!

This place has changed quite a bit in the last year. The bartenders are now all outstanding other than that JD guy. Doorman can be a bit pushy at times but this has been a GO TO place recently. Great specials on buckets of beer during week. Better than average bar food. read more

The place was fun, I love the variety of games (pool, basketball, shuffleboard), great specials. However, the music and DJ was a throwback to my Elementary school days. I'm not even being dramatic, I'm 25, I looked up a song and it came out when I was in 2nd grade... Besides that fun! read more

Just a good bar. Beer selection is good. Pub atmosphere. Lots of people but not overly crowded. Wait staff is super attentive. They are working hard on a busy night but they come by every few minutes to check on us. No complaints at all. Good job mulligans. read more

It has always been fun every time we have been there, never seen any trouble. Montie and Kristen are the best.

Crowd very young. Met three 20 year old girls who were being served. Mentioned this to an indifferent bar staff. Drink specials okay, kind of random though (Mexican Mondays?). Don't waste your money on the jukebox though. Spent $20 dollars but heard only one song. If the bartender who has the remote does not like your song, he/she will skip it right away, no questions asked because they are very intolerant if you don't agree with them. Better places to go would be Hoot's for the crowd and music, and Rumor's for the drink specials. Highly recommend AGAINST Mulligan's. read more

best place to go in amarillo drink specials are great and best of all poker on wednesday can't beat that for a good time the poker players are the best people in amarillo thanks mulligans i will be back. read more
