The service at this store is a reflection of the manager I had asked could any of the three or four people standing around could help me. We had pre-paid online, just needed to pick it up and be on our way. He explained to me that just because everyone was dressed the same they didn't do the same thing... "I'm a manager someone else will have to help you." So like a good socialist nation I had talk to 4 more people before the last guy had our product delivered to him so he could hand it to us. We were so disappointed with our visit to this Apple store. They were very understaffed...we waited in a huge line to talk to a tech only to be told that he couldn't help us and that we should just unpair our Apple Watch from the phone and start over again. We were stunned that we drove to an Apple store where we expected to get service and then had to stand in the store and google how to fix our own problem.Apple has always been known for great service...this was not our experience at all with this trip to the Naples,FL Apple store!! read more

Apple Hates its Customers!!! The ONLY reason this store gets one star is there is no lower rating to give it! The service is absolutely abysmal and the staff condescending. My 2 year MacBook Pro died. I called in and asked to have it repaired. I was told that I had to get a "Genius Bar" appointment first. There were none available for 2 days. What a joke! I asked to just drop it off and was told that was not an option. SERIOUSLY??? You pay top dollar for Apple and the set up hurdles to getting it fixed when it breaks?!?!?!? Beyond that, the staff I dealt with had a horrible condescending manner, as if I was privileged that they even spoke to me. This was from not only the staff, but also from the poor excuse of a manager! This is a shining example of what customer service SHOULD NOT BE! First off I do not want to give you people ANY stars. I'd like to say I have been an Apple customer for 7 years and I am disgusted with the way your company is run and the service. In May 2018 I made an appointment at an Apple store in Naples, Fl at Waterside Shops to get my iphone fixed. The appointment was made a week in advance, upon arrival I was told they did not have the Iphone 8 plus screen to repair my phone. This was a major inconvinence as I was going to Hawaii the next day for 2 weeks and wanted my phone fixed before I left. The location I went to in Naples called a store about 20 miles away in Estero and they said they had the screen but would not take me that night. What do i pay for ? I have Apple Care and that is a joke because I couldn't even get my screen fixed. Noone was willing to help me I am a paying customer giving this company money for a top of the line product and I get crap service. What is up with this. So finally on June 26th 2018 I decided to give it another try as I am paying for a BROKEN PHONE. I made an appointment for June 27th and immediately called the store to make sure they had the part this time. When i called I was told that they could not give me any information about the screen. Am I supposed to waste my time again going to your store and leaving with the same broken phone? When i voiced my concerns the woman on the phone told me "you do not need to get your phone fixed here" This company has been treating me with utter disrespect and I will not allow this to happen to other guests. A $1000 phone and I can't get a single person to help me. Apple is a joke and I will make sure this is known. read more

My AirPods were not working properly. I took them to the Apple Store in the Waterside Shops mall and they were reviewed by a "Genius." He said there was a little spec of green inside the Air Pod. Although there was no evidence of water other than that growth of algae, he said there must have been moisture. He was unwilling to replace the defective AirPods and said their warranty precludes that. I only had the AirPods for a little over a month and used them under ten times, mostly in the gym. The Genius said maybe the sweat from working out may have caused the moisture. Either that or typical Florida humidity (duh). I told him I had used the AirPods as intended and without any customer abuse. I told him that under the Uniform Commercial Code there was a "fitness of purpose" clause (the goods should be fit for the ordinary purposes for which such goods are used."). As I merely used the AirPods as intended, Apple is not permitted to override this consumer protection law in the warranty contract. Nevertheless, Apple is much bigger than me and gets away with unethical and consumer unfriendly practices. I even spoke to the manager, J., who was unfamiliar with this requirement but refused to comply and do the right thing both under consumer protection laws but customer decency. read more

Having trouble recharging my iPhone. Stopped at Apple store to get a new cord. Was told I would need an appointment with a "genius" but there was no time available on 4/10. So made an appointment for 4/11 at 5:30 pm. When I showed up they said I had stood them up for my appointment at 4/10 at 5:30 pm. Their error! Crabby bald clerk was rude and said I would need another appointment. Finally convinced him I just needed a new cord. He said my phone was out of warranty. Had to beg him to pay $19 for a new cord. On 12/1/14 I had an appointment with one of your so called Genius because a piece of my IPad charger got stuck in the IPad. The so called Genius took the IPad into a back room. He told me he could not remove the piece that was stuck and I needed to buy a new IPad which I paid $422.94. My son who lives in CT told me to mail him the IPad the Genius could not fix. I recently mailed the IPad to my son who had no problem removing the broken piece. I am of the opinion the Genius just wanted to make a sale. read more

They couldn't hook me up to my computer when I bought it. After four visits to the store, where I met with "geniuses" they could not get my email hooked up. I returned the computer. I had to call them as my battery is draining far too quickly. It takes about ten minutes of their automated system before you can speak with a human. It sucks. Apple sucks. I have had I-phones since the beginning and have now ended my relationship with the 6. Twice since buying the first I have had to have service from the only service game in town the apple store at the waterside shops now I really don't remember the first time(I am guessing it was a 4 this last time I will never forget. Two days ago I realized that when I left a Wi-Fi are my phone began searching for my provider network(sprint). This is a work phone in the construction industry so no cell service will never work. Called sprint they walked me through a bunch of steps to no avail, sent me to the apple store at waterside. Walked in there at 1030am was told they were booked solid Buttttttt as a courtesy they would put me on a waiting list and to come back in an 1hr 15 I did come back was told it would be another 120 mins. I tried to explain to the lady I was running a business through this phone and I really needed it to work she didn't care so it seemed. About 20mins later the store had basically cleared out and there were a several reps standing around chewing the fat paying no attention to me standing in the corner waiting begging for help. I finally had enough walked up to the lady I had spoken to earlier and asked her if someone was available now she said no and I said well where is your manager and low and behold her manager was standing right there with her and then proceeded to berate me for speaking to her employee that way. So I calmed down and she said I don't know when the technician will have time today but you could come back tomorrow and I said great what time she said I suggest you get here early still cant get an appointment. Well I cant wait around again when can you give me an appointment time, well Saturday is our first open time understand today is Monday when I am asking. I had had it I left with a broken iphone6 went straight to Verizon transferred my entire company from sprint(26 phones including mine) and went to galaxy 7's replacing all the iPhones. So Apple yo lost a small business for life, sprint you lost a company account because you couldn't figure out a way to make the owners phone work. No stars!! The NAPLES Apple Store is the WORST. I had been in the store previously for a battery replacement but was told I needed an appointment. I made that appointment but still waited and waited. Apple people all over the place, doing nothing. I signed in and thought they were just sales people and I needed to see a technician. Finally an Apple employee comes to me. I was requested to supply my Apple ID password. Since Apple uses ....... I was not sure of my PW and I felt pressure to come up with it SO after 2 times she tells me to recreate a NEW PW. She then takes my phone starts saving things to the Icloud which I never use. I now have a new PW and don't have a clue if i negates all my other Apple sign in PWS... ex. Apple ID, I -Cloud, itunes! She does save all phone Information to Icloud which I never use. THEN, I find out she in NOT the technician and my phone will be passed on to someone else. I am told there is no way for her to tell me how long it will take. So I drive my 1//2 hour ride back home, not knowing when to return to the store. This store deserves a minus rating. I live in Chicago where the Apple store there is excellently run. Wish I had waited for my return to Chicago, where I could walk the 10 minutes to my home if needed but to be honest, I believe they would have done it there. Zero rating for the Naples, Apple store! Went in because my iPhone wouldn't charge. Greeted nicely told the gentleman what was going on and made an appointment for the Genius Bar. Told me 30-40 min ok. Left went to eat, got a text message in about 15 min saying appt was ready. Not bad. But I just sat down to eat so I replied "2" to request 30 more min. I should have left lunch because that extra "30 min" request was more like an hour and a half. First technician took phone in back to clean out charging port. Found some lint but still didn't take a charge but said he'd like another tech to look at it. So another 30 min and I get a seat at the Genius Bar. Tech comes over and takes the phone into the back presumably does the same thing. Still no charge. Looks up a few numbers on the phone to see if any recalls or warranty. None found and since the phone is 1 year and 2 months old it is out of warranty. Tech said my option is to buy a new phone for $399. Anyways left there pretty pissed. Went to the closest Verizon store and told them the issue. The gentlemen restarted the phone and did a software update and Viola it worked again. Apple just wants to sell you a new phone and could care less about the customers best interest. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. read more

If I could give zero stars, I really would. I went to get my iPhone 7 Plus screen fixed on Saturday which they did with no problem. They ended up charging me $169 plus tax. I left and three days later my screen is cracked again WITH a screen protector and a phone case on. I didn't even drop it or anything! I was so upset so I went back and explained to them what has happened and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. When they looked at my phone they realized the frame is going in. The frame is dented in which is a highly possible cause on why my screen has cracked again because of the pressure of the frame into the glass. They offered that I buy out a whole new phone for $340 instead of replacing a screen on a phone with a dented frame (so it avoids this happening again) so here I am, back at Apple...with them telling me I have to pay the difference of $180 to replace my phone!! Why didn't they just tell me that from the start!! If they knew my phone's frame is vulnerable why would they replace it without telling me that it's highly possible for my phone to crack again. I'm eligible for an upgrade next month and now I can't even get the new iPhone because Apple can't even help me out. Like I mean I just got my screen fixed for not even 4 days... if Apple truly cared about their customers they would help them out rather then suck out all their money. If I wanted to pay $340 from the start I might as well have just bought a whole new phone. They are horrible!!! Especially at waterside shops in Naples, FL. Never go here. read more
