I noticed my iPhone was having a display problem. In the center of the screen it was pixelating. I made an appointment for service. They have two security guards outside you present yourself to them and they assign a line for you to stand in. Mine was the service line. A tech came outside took my name and my description of myself. I then was directed to stand in another line. After a very brief wait I was waited on. We walked over to an empty table standing across from each other and I explained the problem she verified the problem then told me my options. The repair was to replace the whole display screen. I was under their service agreement so it was no charge. She told me it would be the next day it would be ready. She then excused herself and came back and said they can fix it today. Could I come back in an hour. I arrived back and was greeted and told to have a seat outside. A tech came out reviewed my repair and I requested they replace my screen protector which they did. Great screen protectors are not cheap but worth every penny. read more

I visited the Apple Waterside Store today to purchase the new iPad Pro and explore upgrades to a Mac Studio and Vision Pro. I was greeted promptly upon entering, but when I asked for assistance with the iPad and trade-in process, I was told a sales associate would help me shortly. After waiting 15 minutes, no one ever arrived. Several employees appeared unoccupied, yet no one stepped in to assist. When I asked about the Vision Pro demo, I was told to return at 6:30 despite the demo area being unused and the store relatively quiet. Ultimately, I left without making a purchase -- even though I had come ready to invest in multiple new Apple products. The lack of initiative and attentiveness from staff was disappointing, especially for a brand known for its customer experience. I guess it doesn't matter when the paycheck comes either way, but it's frustrating as a loyal customer to be ignored when ready to spend thousands. read more

Went in to exchange something defective and the whole experience was trashy. No staff being attentive, finally after 20 min changed out the product... I get home and find out he sold me something not compatible with my iPad, and for an 11inch when I have a 13 inch. Call the store and the manager is very much useless. I brought in some Apple EarPods wired USB-C after Apple phone support made me an appointment. The issue with the EarPods is the left one stopped working. I purchased the EarPods through the Apple storefront on Amazon so they are genuine and had the receipt through the Amazon app. The purchase was less than a year ago, so the product is covered by Apple's manufacturer 1 year warranty. I explained I wanted to get them replaced under warranty (as Apple does not repair these only replace them) the rep went in the back for a while and returned and said there was no way for her to do a warranty swap for the wired USB-C EarPods, she said she can only do it for Lightning connector ones (the older ones she said) How does this make sense? Her system only lets her do a warranty swap on the older model not the newer model? Then she tried to sell me the exact same wired USB-C EarPods I wanted to get replaced under warranty. I declined and stated I would call Apple support again as I want Apple to honor the warranty. I ended up having to call Apple support for the second time, and they will mail me a replacement to swap. Brought two iPhone 13s in for battery replacements. Phones were operating without any issues however battery life was down to 80% on one phone 81% on the other. Thought I would be proactive and replace the batteries said it would be a 3 1/half hour wait. Walked around the mall for 3 1/2 hours come back stated that when they put a new battery in one of the phones, it started smoking and had a safety issue. They didn't have a second battery to replace the second phone battery. They said they would have a replacement phone, which would be a used phone within a couple hours and they would also have a battery for the second phone. So I'm currently waiting the two hours. They're replacing the phone with a used phone that I have no idea what the condition will be they said it as a certified phone . And they also said I will have to go to T-Mobile to activate it so it's gonna be a minimum of 5 1/2 hours with without either of our phones and I may end up with the phone that's in fireworks shape than what I dropped off horrible problem. When you walk in all the people working here are having fun, which is comforting and gives off a relaxed atmosphere. Every time we've been there someone greets us immediately and proceeds to find out what we are there to do. My mom has been using Apple products since 1992 because they are so reliable so we visit this store often enough. Today Harry helped us getting her data transferred onto her new computer. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor. Most of the staff seem very well trained. I was shocked when i went to leave a 1 star review but quickly saw the same reasons i was on yelp to give a 1 star were the same reasons and lousy experiences others had here. The newly renovated store at the same location is 3 x the size of the old one. Apple does it right as it is very spacious and open. Lots of staff around, but it's just reopening here since they closed to renovate. Lots of tables of goods to touch, see, buy. Not crazy about the box seating, literally boxes. Cute but very uncomfortable and a potentially tempting toy for kids unsupervised.... which means almost every kid that comes. Parking is just as strained as the past. They need another garage on this end of the mall. Happy for this new look and hope service will improve on a consistent level, yet when season hits it may be a whole different story. read more

We have had stellar service at the Naples Apple Store in the past. The sales people have been wonderful, helpful and plentiful. We went there today and Apple has clearly changed their desire to help customers proactively or provide older model accessories, which is their choice. We had to ask for help and while we got answers, it felt like the employee was doing us a big favor. I could certainly upgrade my phone but don't feel compelled to do it or do it there certainly. Horrific experience would be an understatement. I've been an Apple customer for about 2 decades. Never in my life have I been treated with so much disrespect and gaslighting in my life. My mother who recently passed away bought me an iPad charger for this past Christmas. The USB which has absolutely no physical defects stopped working out of the blue. The person "assisting" me tried to interrogate me about the receipt and I tried to explain that I do not have the receipt in more ways than one. I have never come across any issues getting an exchange for damaged cords never mind a brand new one that was obviously not a user error. This person who was most likely not even conceived when I originally become an Apple customer, used every bit of his energy to make me feel uncomfortable, unheard and disrespected. After repeating there was "nothing he could do without a receipt", he asked me if I wanted the cord. I said, "no, you can have it, as I obviously have no use for it." He just glared at me condescendingly. Nonexistent customer service these days. Apple Support was absolutely useless too. Support called the location to ask where the cord was because I was too upset to deal with them-- the response: "Product recycling comes every day-- I learned something new today too!"--almost like she was in shock. I told her, "it seems as though that this is a direct reflection of your defective products that are being mass produced these days and makes complete sense in terms of my situation." In conclusion, all of this was a complete fools errand and I wish I had the cord back to try it at another location, perhaps with someone having an actual pulse. read more

We walked in to simply swap out a broken iPad that we had ordered days prior. We were seated at the "pick up" table and two customers who came in after us were helped and on their way before we even received our replacement device. The gentleman who finally brought the device was very short with us and offered no help to setup the new one. He quickly took off with the old one prior to us even seeing that it was properly erased. It was a promotional deal through AT&T and required AT&T to get the old phone. As of this writing, AT&T has not received the old phone. Went to the store to purchase an IPhone 15 pro max and also a new iPad. Upon arrival I was greeted, told her what I was there for, and was told it would be 10-15 minutes as there was 1 customer in front of me. Approximately 1 hour later, still sitting there waiting. A rep walked by and I inquired as to how much longer. He asked my name, looked at his iPad, and walked over to 2 other employees by the front day. He walked back saying that they called my name and since there was no response, he took me off the list. I told him I hadn't moved an inch since arrival, and two other customers told him so. He said he would sign me back in. I asked how much longer. He said I was at the bottom of the list now and there were a lot of other customers in front of me now. Needless to say, I left and placed my order online. I called the following day to speak to a manager. I'm a believer that you can't fix something if you don't know it's broken. The woman said the manager was busy, but took my name and telephone number and the manager would call me. Needless to say, I never got a phone call. My only option now is to write a letter to Corporate and tell them that even I love Apple products, this store should either be closed or all the employees there should be retrained. read more

From there, he told me it would be probably be a 40 minute wait, it was 20 minutes. Eduardo took me to a table and started working on my phone, reassuring me that it was fixable and I had an additional issue that was repaired at no charge! He was very kind, patient and helpful, explaining the process of restoring my iPhone. Ruth and Christopher were of great assistance with a minor issue after the repair was made. Might be the worst customer service by a manager I have ever experienced. My son broke his apple iPad and we have apple care. The guy helping us checked the terms of apple care and went to get us a replacement. Then you can see twp other random helpers talking about it with the manager and came and stopped the guy from giving us the replacement. Said it was in the legal terms that it was not covered which I could understand but asked if I could see it. They refused. Told me to read them at home and come back. I did. It was clearly covered. My real beef is with the manager. He honestly said he didn't know the rules but never apologized just told me I was upset because I didn't give me what I wanted. I told him can I have your name. He just walked away. I found out later when I came in it was Oliver. If he had come over and apologized that his people might be wrong and to call apple it would have been okay. But then I caught him in lie after lie about shipping it and stuff like that. I think he was honestly just trying to show off to the one female worker. I just expect honest and respectful customer service. I never go on yelp to complain but this was so terrible I had to complain somewhere since apple is so big they really don't care. The best sales experience we've ever had. Our sales person Yusim or Yuson (sp?) was knowledgeable, personable, patient, and enthusiastic without being pushy. My wife was replacing and i-phone 8. Yusim helped her select the best model (iPhone 13) for her needs. He patiently worked through the set up, explained how to trade in her old phone, and answered every question. If you go there, ask for him. The Apple doesn't promote this young man, they're crazy. He's great. read more

Once i was finally greeted and brought to a table, the guy said he was going to grab a charger, and disappeared for 20 minutes. Apple refers to this display as the petting table, which I find irresistable for both turn of phrase and function. I admire the high energy of the retail people here, and how they synch with their customers. During my visit, Towanda was simultaneousy assisting three new purchasers. She measured her comments, timing instructions with the timing of various uploads as she brought customer after customer online with their new gear. I will return for a tutorial. Of course we ran into an issue while on vacation (why does it always happen when you're out of town?) and after a couple hours on the phone with Apple support, they recommended we head to an Apple Store. They were kind enough to call the 2 stores closest to us - Naples and Estero - and were told Estero had a 5 1/2 hour wait for a walk in appointment whereas Naples' store had a 1/2 hour wait. To Naples we went! We arrived and the initial service wasn't the most helpful ("stand in this line, she will help you get set up for a walk in appointment" meanwhile 3 other people working stood around with seemingly nothing to do) but Oliver quickly jumped in and was able to get us set up for our appointment. I left the store being told my appointment would be in about 25 minutes. A prompt 15 minutes later I got a text that my appointment was approaching. I then have 15 minutes to get back to the Apple Store. I walked in and was immediately helped by Trevor. Both Oliver and Trevor were extremely patient in allowing me to explain the issue, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. Great, prompt service! Surprising side note: this store is about 1/3 the size of every Apple Store I've been in. read more

I would not use this store. If you need an Apple store you should use the one in Estero. Last week I purchased a new Mac Book Pro and found the sales techniques very deceptive. I selected a lap top and agreed on price and configuration. When it came time to run my card the number was $349 higher than what we had just discussed. They explained that this was for Apple Care that this would cover the transfer of data from my old computer to my new one. At this point the whole process was similar to buying a used car. Just as when you buy a used car all you want to do is get off the lot. I paid for Apple Care and left rather unhappy about the whole experience. After several days passed I called Apple Care to transfer my data. Apple Care then wanted another $100. The technician explained that the $349 I paid at the Apple Store did not cover any actual service. I've used Apple products of decades now and this was the worst experience I'm ever had. It may be Apple but I tend to think that it's just this one store. I've had really positive experiences at other Apple stores. I'm not ready to give up on Apple yet but I have given up on the Waterside store. read more
