On Feb. 12th, I showed up to Staples completely stressed out wanting to color copy a packet for a presentation I was doing on behalf of my husband and myself for a Variance Proposal. I saw a man behind the counter who looked like he was helping 4 different people at once along with changing out a printer cartridge...haha... This man was Judd. I noticed his calm demeanor and patience with people, especially some of the older clients who didn't have a clue on how to work the "SELF SERVE COPY MACHINES" When it was turn to be helped out, he listened to my request and went right to work noticing I didn't ask for 3-prong hole punching for the folders I was going to put them in, so he immediate suggested if he did them, it would save me time and be less stressful for me to do. I thanked him for the advice and did that as well. I did have a coupon so that helped with the price of the copies. The quality was GREAT. And, I loved how easy Judd made this experience for me. He is a great employee...they are lucky to have him! And...I will be back to have him help me with my next presentation for sure!!! read more

Staples did a wonderful job here at this location. My business cards came out just as hoped. The customer care experience I received was outstanding! Julie gave me solutions I needed in order to complete the goals of the day with great economical solutions. Ray also came through and was extremely patient as I needed my cards immediately. When I got there a day late I was shocked yet grateful he didn't through them away. ( I was supposed to have picked them up within a couple hours and couldn't get there as planned. All communication from staff here are excellent. I know and trust that in the future I will be returning to this Staples soon. Thank you staff at this Staples location. I recommend this great employee team to anyone needing to get their business goals met. read more

Just left this Staples. If it wasn't for the kind woman by the name of Billy Jean, helping with a return from Amazon, I believe that I would've lost some money. The store manager, big, heavyset white guy with a beard was terrible! Originally the return started with a new hire, athletic build white guy That needed some help. It was his first time processing an Amazon return. The manager was aggravated by his request for help first of all. Went through showing him how to do it on what looked like a cell phone. But he still needed a little more help. The manager walked away and let him sit there and struggle. So I tried to help him which I'm not a store employee, so I really don't know the process. but Billy Jean came to the rescue! I'm very thankful for her. She should be the manager! showed up to collect my Amazon package before they close at seven. I got there about 6:58 I've worked jobs where I have to close up a location so I understand locking the doors early. However, if someone walked up to the door, I would let them in for the last amount of time we could serve them and let them be my last customer, the manager or whoever it was came to the door after I sat outside for about five minutes. I asked very politely to get to pick up my package as it would take about a minute. they declined and closed the door in my face. Bad customer service. very inconvenienced as I will have to find time to go back in the next two days. Which I do not have. I called over the phone before I got there and it said they close at eight as well here on the website it says nine this was totally out of my control. read more

Went to the store today, I usually go there quite often. I'm not sure what issues they have there but I have never felt like a criminal before walking around any store. This employee who tried to act like a customer followed me around the store pretending his looking for something/shopping, no cart, no item. It was quite obvious why he did that because of what I "looked" like and I also picked up $110 keyboard for my job. When I went to the register, I kept my eye on him and saw him return to work when they called for help over the intercom. I will return to shopping online at Staples so I won't be stereotyped. read more

Here are office supplies for grab and go when you don't have time to shop somewhere cheaper. For example: one ream of paper for $3.50. Now that's robbery, especially for anyone who goes through copy paper like an Eco-criminal. But speaking of the virtue of going paperless, I found a good gift to take to my host when I travel this summer. The novelty USB is a clown fish, is 4 gigs and is packable, a conversation starter, and by design, simply screams "Florida." For the same thirteen bucks, you can have one in the shape of a pudgy pig, cow, turtle, or any of the Simpson TV characters. (Now that's weird.) While you can buy memory these days for a just few bucks, the premium on this little gizmo is worth it for its entertainment value alone. read more

It's amazing how much of a difference you can experience from one Staples store to another. I walked out of a Staples in Tamarac, near where I live, because the customer service by a new hire was terrible on my last visit. This store has a completely different feeling. And my experience in the printing dept. was just great. Derek was a champ, making sure everything lined up on my very small job while juggling service responses from several other customers. He was solution-oriented personable, upbeat, and brisk. I would definitely go back to this store. read more

Staff seems to be lacking customer training skills. Never acknowledged upon entering the store, never offered help from staff, checkout line often left unattended and no one notices. Reorders from print desk is not effecient and unorganized. They need a true Leader!! read more

He noticed I was a bit misinformed on using the copier and couldn't have been more helpful. It always impresses me when I'm only spending five bucks and the person helping treats me like I'm spending five-hundred bucks. Guess it's not a about money--It's about being helpful. I stopped in to drop off used printer cartridges for recycling, as I've done before. The man behind the desk abruptly told me they weren't accepting them. Curious, I simply asked why. With a VERY condescending and rude attitude, he said "well, there's a pandemic going on." At first I thought he was kidding with me, and waited for his smile, or some indication he wasn't simply being rude. (You had to be there.) Another young man, also behind the counter, stepped forward and said "we can't take in cartridges or any paper shredding, anything like that." At least he said it in a friendly manner and didn't attempt to insult me. (By the way, I WAS wearing a mask.) I went to my car and called Office Depot to ask if they were taking cartridges. I was told yes, so I drove the 2 miles and dropped them off. Guess who I'll patronize henceforth? Let me emphasize that statement is made NOT because Staples isn't accepting cartridges for recycling... but only because I see no reason for the rudeness with which I was addressed. read more

I see there are few reviews regarding this Staples location in the last 6 years. Must be a reason. I've mostly purchased office supplies here in the past that required little interaction with the store employees. Once a year for the past 5 years, we've had our neighborhood directory printed there. The cost is in the $300 range. The staff has been helpful and done a good job. Why else would we keep coming back? All has changed. I went there this week to have the directory printed and a "child" greeted me regarding the order. She was clueless as to what to do and couldn't find any history of our previous order. When I requested additional assistance, the manager appeared and barked out... "The people who helped you in the past are no longer here and she is all we have to assist you and she's not going to be bullied by you"! That was a warm greeting. I instantly left and went to a local printer who did the job for $200. In addition, he called the previous directory 'poor quality' and I agreed when I saw the new book he produced! Want to deal with children who are clueless in the printing business? Head over to Staples on 41 South... but bring some toys and candy! You want to keep the children happy! I have been to this location a handful of times to print items. Normally there is a very kind man in a red shirt behind the print department counter. So I understand the protocol to get an items printed. I send my information to their print me email and get a code give the code to the nice man behind the counter and he prints it for me. Apparently there's now a change to the step and the man in the black shirt (Manager?) during this visit picks up a card with instructions on it and waves it at me as he barks loudly "is that a label". To which I have no idea why he's barking at me. I finally understand what he waving at me and saying. I proceed to take the card and read the steps. While they mean something to him, they're not clear to me. When I ask for clarity he barks at me again in a loud voice and acts as if I'm an idiot that's bothering him. He proceeds to tell me "this is why I wrote this card" as hostilely as possible. Well I'm going to assume he has no clue how rude he is. He needs to understand in retail settings he might need to "come down" to the customers level until they understand the industry language he has chosen to use in his "how to print" card. And just maybe he needs to use better terminology instead of trying to just shove his way down the customers throat. He's got the wrong attitude for this area and I can't imagine how he treats the employees. Someone needs to talk to him about customer service. I took my things and left, I won't be back. read more

Jed or Jeb, whatever his name is, was just terrible. All I asked for was for him to print out a flyer without borders and he couldn't do it. I waited patiently for 10 minutes for him to finish with someone, then when he couldn't figure it out how to print it without borders he just kept moving on to the next person, taking care of them, then coming back and telling me he's trying to figure it out. Really don't think he knows what he's doing. A shame because I've never had problems with any other Staples. read more

I just want to, I MUST give an EXCELLENT review to Staples Tech dept (@ Naples Blvd, in Naples, FL) & an A+++ rating. You just don't come by this kind of HONESTY anymore, especially these days. I took my computer in to them fully EXPECTING to have to pay $150 to have a virus removed, as 'Century Link' had told me it was my computer. Come to find out because of the honest Techs at Staples, I learned that I had NO virus & that it was my old modem from "Century Link" that was causing all my problems. Not only did Staples tell me I had no virus, (which they could of EASILY done), but they didn't even charge me a PENNY for having looked at it! So a BIG THANK YOU goes out to you STAPLES TECH for such Integrity. I hope that all of you will take your business to them, as I know I WILL. They DESERVE to be Number#1 in their field & I believe that we should all do our part to get them there. Again, thanks Staples Tech. You have my vote & will ALWAYS HAVE my business! read more
