I'm still amazed at the variety and customer service offered at Best Buy. Worth the time to shop there instead of buying online

If I could give a negative score I would. They have no staff to help in store. Ordered a fridge, told them it was in the 2nd floor. Not once, but twice they came to deliver a new fridge & TWICE they were unable To complete the task. Lazy delivery men who showed no ingenuity whatsoever. Trying to tell us it's impossible, which is hysterical considering there's a fridge there already. Same size in every fashion. They failed us twice & that's enough for me. I was having trouble with information lost on my iPhone. My son took me to the Geek Squad located in this Best Buy. In less than half an hour the young man completely got my information back!! The young people in the Geek Squad know what they're doing! My charge for this service was very reasonable. Excellent service. I was very impressed. Terrible service. I paid over $300 for a protection plan that supposedly covered all repair costs, and they literally want to charge me for everything. For parts, for transportation. On top of that, the customer service is awful. Absolutely terrible. There are huge delays for every service, poor treatment, and a complete inconsistency between what they tell you in the store and what they say when you call customer service. I had a mesh system install by their services. Worked for 2 days then spontaneously disconnected. All 32 pieces of equipment could not connect. Worse when I contacted them, they gave me an appointment 5 days later. Try living in a disconnected home. Took no responsibility, made no amends, then tried not to show up on the date of appointment. They are unreliable and have no capacity to service their customers for any urgencies with their work. It's a system issue due to not having enough service providers for their customer base. Purchased stove on November 22, 2025, but it was not available for installation until January 10th, 2026. Fine, accepted that. Then the appointment had to be cancelled as they gave us a window the day prior to install of 2 pm to 7 pm on Saturday. We practically live across the street from the store! So, we rescheduled for January 14, 2026. The window of time is 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Very acceptable! Trying to call Customer Service to ask for a text or phone call when they are on their way. Have been on hold for over 30 minutes. I am now afraid to have this installation. What if there is a problem? How long will it take to resolve. My phone is still on hold and I am now getting into my car to drive to store to cancel order. read more

When I ordered my two wine coolers and I was supposed to get white glove service, the two delivery men refused to unbox the coolers and left it for me to do. They were heavy, they were supposed to put them in place, but of course they didn't. When I had a problem with one of them, I was told that Best Buy wouldn't service them even though I had purchased a service agreement with them. Ordered a Samsung large flat screen tv to be delivered. Arrived with the screen smashed in on a Friday Would not come pick it up or replace it! Took 2 weeks to get a pick up of the broken one and they said they would deliver a new replacement a week later ... well took off work to be available and they sent a text they'd be here tomorrow. Then the text changed to " you have to reschedule your delivery ". No one could help No one took ownership. I cancelled the tv order and won't do business with them again ! read more

This location is smoothly controlled. Once you walk in, a gentleman asks if you are looking for anything specific. We told them we were looking to purchase an ipad. He immediately told us that he will radio someone to meet us near the ipads and directed us where to go. When we arrived, we waited a few minutes and a lovely young woman helped us with the purchase. She told my sister's fiance which ones they had in stock and available for cellular. He even got an open box one as he requested to see it. Everything goes to the Geek squad prior to being put back out and it had no isses at all. It was $100 and in perfect condition. They had a lot of other open box items. Some items that were $30 were selling for $13 and in nearly perfect condition. The process was extremely smooth and they were able to purchase the device at the counter instead of walking to the front of the door. The staff were all wearing masks and were following strict safety precautions for Covid. read more

We called Best Buy to replace the cable that runs from the Summit modem in our garage through the attic to the modem inside our house. They pre-billed us as a condition of the service. The technician that showed up had no idea what he was supposed to be working on, he thought he was there to install a modem. When I explained that he was supposed to replace the cable as we had told the scheduler he seemed a bit bewildered. He was not prepared to do the work, he did run a test on the wire and confirmed that it was bad. However he wasn't capable of doing the actual work needed to replace the wire. Instead he clipped the end off the wire and put on a new end. Supposedly "fixing" the issue. As the problem is sporadic I was not able to confirm if his "fix" did any good. It did not. He left without replacing the wire or fixing the issue. When we called Best Buy back today to have them do the work we paid them to do originally were told that they don't do that kind of work and we would need to find somebody else to replace the wire. Having wasted our time was bad enough, but their crappy service didn't stop there, they're refusing to fix the issue or refund our money. This company not only stole from us they refused to stand behind their work. I would highly recommend that no one trust or do business with Best Buy. They flat out robbed us. Crap company, crappy customer service. Flat out thieves. They promised to call us back when we asked them to speak with a supervisor, now we're being ghosted. Horrible follow up too. read more

Went into the store today to purchase a laptop, was greeted at the door by a pleasant young man who asked my name and told me someone who assist me , well, we waited and waited , no one looked up and said we will be with you shortly, I asked 2 other member if they could assist and I got, I'm working on a phone order and the was I work in the warehouse. The geek squad is great. Getting to the geek squad is a nightmare. You call service number and after a wait someone answers who you can't understand due to thick accent. Trying to arrange home appointment she had to phone the local store so now I had 2 calls I'm holding for. We bought an Insignia refrigerator well over a month ago. It was delivered without handles for the fridge and freezer door. 1&1/2 to 2 weeks later an employee comes to our home, not to put the handles on, but to look at what he needs to do the job. Forward to 2 weeks after the last visit, an employee calls & says he will be here at noon. He shows up over an hour later than he said he would be and now he doesn't have enough of the right screws to do both handles. He puts the handle on the fridge door & said he would be back to put the freezer handle on. We told him to not bother and just leave the handle, we will do it ourselves. We don't have time to wait around for a third visit just to put handles on the fridge doors. The complete incompetence of Best Buy employees is astounding! If you buy an appliance here , be prepared to assemble it yourself since the employees can't be bothered to do it a timely manner if at all. read more

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a recent experience at your Best Buy store located in Naples, Store 524. went into the store yesterday to have someone assist me with a new TV after sitting for over 35 minutes waiting patiently for someone to help me with TVs no one around not that store was even busy. Can you have someone in the front door greeting you and asking you to be set on on a waiting queue very frustrating when you're just wanting to purchase a TV. I'll make it clear that i had horrible service from the first person to the last person i had contact with at Best Buy in Naples. I made an appointment to have stereo wires installed. When i picked up the car from best buy the day it was worked on the technician said my car was making a ticking noise. Then i noticed my check engine light was on. I had just bought my new car the week prior and wanted my speakers hooked up. Today I took my car to Lexus and they said who ever did my stereo wires drilled a hole into my brake booster. Lexus estimated the damage at $2,000. I have been on the phone with best buy all day and i received ZERO help. I will never go to best buy again and i will be sharing my story with as many people as possible. read more

He insured all my files were completed as well as taking care of my mobile Samsung screen saver was replaced. He made everything moved smoothly and answered all my questions. Not bad, I usually shop online but since I was making a big purchase I decided I'd do it in person. I used to work for Best Buy, it's a good company. I walked in today and went to the apple section as I had the past few days, because I've been thinking of buying a MacBook Pro. First time I went it was $400 off! The friendly salesperson told me to buy now before the sale ended, and I shrugged it off as a sales tactic... well he wasn't kidding. The sale ended the next day and was only $250 off next time I checked. When I walked in today I saw the sale was $300 off, ok this was enticing. A friendly young employee came by and while he didn't seem to be an ultra expert he was very helpful. He asked when he didn't know, and answered all of my questions. I'm the end he convinced me that it was a better fit for me than a surface book 2. Both were nice and priced the same. I bought it and got apple care of course! Since it was $300 off it's sorta like the apple care was free. Not a bad deal. Anyway, it was a nice buying experience. No hassles. Good job Best Buy. read more

My daughter ordered Samsung TV 1/30/2022 for Delivery to NYC. She paid $413.71 plus purchased service agreement It never arrived. She called and they said they would resend but then got a letter saying she had to file. Police report. We went to local Bestbuy and spoke with Manager who said they would arrange a refund. Instead she got another letter saying she had to file a police report. The TV was never received by her. She lives in a locked building. So Bestbuy is saying to file a police report against themselves. absolute horrible customer service with no follow up. Do no purchase from them. read more

Johnny on the spot! I just want to say a big thank you again to Johnny at the Best Buy in Naples. I came into the store looking for a USB to USB C adaptor and there are a few different types depending on if you are looking for female to male, male to female etc. Johnny saw me wandering around looking like I didn't know what I was doing (good eye!) so he asked me how he could help. He was obviously busy already because he was carrying some piece of electronics which he quickly placed down so he could look at the description of what I needed that was open on my phone. He was in the front corner of the store so he helped me locate what I needed. He also helped me download the Best Buy app into my phone so I could find merchandize quicker in the future. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer for over 25 years, like thousands of other people. I bought a TV wall mount and by the time I found somebody to install it it was a month later. The box was never opened until the installer came out, and we determined that this wall mount would not work. All of the components in the box were in the original plastic bags that were never opened. this was a perfect return in my eyes. I went back to return this product and buy another TV wall that would be more suitable and I was denied the return because it was past 15 days. That is their policy. There are no shades of gray and I'm stuck with this $150 purchase , needless to say they could've made a customer happy and taken it back but they decided not to . so they lost a customer who instinctively would go back for all of his electronic type needs and I'm done with them. I hate it when I leave crucial connectors at home and have to pick up new ones *just so I can watch the movies loaded onto my iPad on the TV in my hotel room. Siiiigh. (Don't judge me!) Cue a quick trip to the hell that is Best Buy. Yes, they will have what I'm looking for. No, it won't be easy to find. Rather than navigate the maze, I quickly found a teenager in the Apple section after my cursory perusal of the Accessories display did not turn up what I wanted. Standing and helping this bored kid look at all the accessories *again was annoying. I need a lightning-to-HDMI connector. He picked up item after item to show me ("No, that's for a camera. No, that's a USB...") until I finally located it on my own and asked him where their shortest HDMI cables were. He rubbed his face and handed me a 6' cable. Nope, short. He pulled a few more several-feet lengths then rubbed his face and said maybe they had short ones in the Home Theater section. He walked twenty paces ahead of me and gestured to the area. Went in to this store yesterday looking to buy a phone & was actually surprised at how fast I was helped! The two associates that helped me, Pierre & Elizabeth, were great! They were professional, helpful & very personable. I was pleased with the service & how efficient it was. Plus the store was very clean, and there were many bottles of hand sanitizers and antibacterial wipes placed across the store so I was a big fan of that. :) read more

Went to best buy Magnolia theater looking to build a $50,000 + home theater. I tried using their kiosk to try the different receivers and speakers for about 20 minutes but couldn't get it to work. There were no employees working on the home theater dept. Three times when someone in blue passed by I hailed them asking for help. NO ONE CARED. After the 3rd snub by an employee I said I'll just have to find another store. The employee s retorted nastily...."that's fine" and went back on his cell phone. If it was not for Elizabeth aka Liz!! I'm glad Best Buy realized their gem in the company and placed her as a manager. I'm not an easy person to deal with especially as a consumer! But let me tell you, the care and patience Liz displayed was above and beyond!! I'm a nurse and I work almost everyday & she was considerate of my jam packed schedule because as I told her I barely have time for myself let alone to keep coming to Best Buy for the same issue. Since the first time I had an issue Liz has been the go to person. And if no one could fix it or help me, Liz could! She made me feel like a valued customer and that's hard to do! Liz was open and transparent with me. She there throughout this long drawn out process which took over a month!! I just want to thank God for putting the right people in my path to get me a resolution and made me a satisfied total protection member. Do not order an item for delivery!! We ordered a washing machine and we have waited days for our item, even with a scheduled delivery date. Each day we get a 7am-7pm window and no one shows up. They will update and say they will be there in 1-2 hours and then we won't hear from them again. The store has told us multiple times that they aren't able to help because it's through a third party delivery company. Then they hang up. read more

Best Buy is an interesting store. It has about everything in electronics and appliances. My review is going to be about purchasing a new receiver and TV. The audio video department is kind of divided into two parts. One is the Best Buy guys in the blue shirts. Then there is the Magnolia side. If you are needing that extra help and want to purchase something a bit upscale then Magnolia is the way to go. I wanted one of those new smart TV with 4K. While my mind was set on purchasing a Samsung I did not know the different levels of the brand. Of course I liked the high end Q series. And was given an excellent description of what it can do. The salesman asked how old my receiver and I said it was 6 years old. Well that makes it caveman tech and I knew it. I told the salesperson I wanted something that would optimize my TV and surround system and he showed me Pioneer Elite line. Good stuff. It took me well over an hour to make these purchases, set up delivery, and then I found out Magnolia line has its own installers and do not use the Geek Squad. So I had to make another with the Geek Squad to do a complete install with programing my remote to make everything work. Two different stores within a store and two different install services. This is the second car I've had audio equipment installed in. We ran into some issues on the ordering process which pushed by installation date back pretty far! I expressed my concerns to Justin and Alli the managers in the Naples store. They were awesome at resolving the issue and keeping me a happy customer! Woke has arrived at Best Buy Naples, FL ... doing its best to emulate Bud Light! After spending a lot of money, we found our legitimate customer critique, resulted in targeting and aggressiveness. Passive aggressive employees are unapologetic, herding customers from one wrong area to the next and openly resenting customer interaction, Best Buy Naples, the customer is always wrong. Whether in person or online we found their systems disjointed at every level. Adhere to the process or get out, while a rude employee will sarcastically say "have a nice day". I had the privilege of dealing with James Harasym who is a Sr. Sales Consultant with Best Buy's In-Home Sales team. He is located at the Best Buy located on Naples Blvd. At my new home in Naples he assisted me with multiple TV's , sound bar , access point and so much more. As part of the In-Home Sales Team, their role is to have an impact on each client's life in a positive, meaningful way through technology. When many people think of Best Buy, they think of Television's and sound systems, but they are so much more than that! Unbeknownst to me their product lineup has expanded recently to now include Outdoor Entertainment, Appliances, Furniture, Pool Equipment as well as many other categories. They have an extensive Appliance catalog with brands that include Thermador, Monogram and Viking, as well as GE, LG, Samsung and KitchenAid. I purchased my wine cooler and outdoor refrigerator and they were delivered and installed on time. James also informed me that during the Pandemic and beyond, they have expanded to Health and Fitness in the Home, to accommodate those clients who have found themselves inside more often. They have a wide variety of exercise equipment, Office equipment, and networking solutions among many other categories! I asked James kiddingly about an electric bike and he said that they even carry those. Their price point is better the most places and they will match or better any competition in the area. Just as a side note it was assuring dealing with someone who knew their products and understood my needs . I am confident that if there is any thing you may need for your new home James may be able to help you find it. They also which I was unaware of carry BDI furniture. I highly recommend James for any of the things you may need in your new home.
