    Used Angle Grinder and missing parts

    So I bought a new angle grinder only to find a used one that was still dirty and beat to shit. How is there no quality control at your store??? Clearly this is a return but repackaged as new.

    Lazy Home Depot employee ignoring customers while playing on her phone

    Entered self checkout at 4:20 PM on March 4, 2022. After completing transaction the the machine kept indicating that the receipt was "printing" but would not print a receipt. I kept trying to get the employee, who was standing behind a desk 5 feet from me, to assist. She kept ignoring me. It looked as if she was playing on her phone. I was able to get the attention of another employee who was able to correct the printer error. He printed out a receipt that had the notation "Duplicate Receipt Not Valid for Refund". As I passed by the original employee I saw that she had in fact been on her phone the entire time! LAST TIME I'LL SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE. Fortunately there is a Lowes Store about a half mile away (north on Naples Boulevard). That store is much cleaner, much better organized & has higher quality employees.

    You know when it comes to household stuff like appliances, lumber, lighting, fixtures, paneling, flooring...I'll admit being a woman I am weak in these areas. I went in looking for an air conditioner for a window, knowing nothing about what I was doing. I was lost in a forest of appliances, dehumidifiers, air purifiers.....HELP! Lee, who has worked there for a brief 25 years was patient, knowledgeable and basically held my hand through the selection process. The selection was abundant and his customer service over the top! Thank you Lee, you exemplify what good service is about, especially for a woman who knew nothing!

    Home Depot is a good place to get the tools and supplies for projects in and around the house. I got wood and corrugated plastic for a carport. And a few tools. The paint desk people are pretty knowledgeable since they have special training in their department. I got a set if shelves here a while ago it was inexpensive and still in good shape. I may have to get more totes and bins but they seemed pricey so I'm going to wait for them to have a sale. I'm in here about 2-3x a month when I did home remodeling I was here 3-5x a week. This parking lot is easier than Loews even though traffic on Pine Ridge road can be a little hectic. but it seems safer than driving on Naples blvd with all of the other snowbirds. They make keys here but the last few keys I got needed return visits since the keys didn't work.

Tyler's team of hard working guys came and planted our new plants, refreshed our landscape areas with new mulch, and made everything look really lovely! Rob and I are very happy with the job they did for us. To make up for our negative experience with Jason, Tyler gave us some free gifts, and tried to make it up to us, which he succeeded in doing. Because of Tyler Brand, and his kindness, and consideration, Moon Valley Nurseries will be our go-to landscape place. Plus, Tyler is a fellow lover of the band Korn. As a garden…read morecenter, I would rate them a 5 -- they carry wonderful plant varieties and have a beautiful selection. This review concerns customer service. In general, I have found some employees to be somewhat dismissive when I ask questions about plant material. I am a novice gardener, and while my questions may be basic, they are genuine. The overall tone I've experienced has at times felt impatient or put off. More concerning was an interaction last week with a young male cashier (early 20s, mustache). After checking out, I reviewed my receipt in my car and had a question. I went back inside, and the same cashier came to review the order with me. As he went through the receipt and items, he pointed at the receipt and said, "Can't you read?" implying that I was incapable of understanding it. To be clear, he was correct -- the receipt did match the purchased inventory. The issue was not accuracy; it was his condescending tone and delivery. I felt belittled and disrespected. I did respond emotionally and raised my voice, calling him a jerk. That was not the best response, and I returned to the store to acknowledge that I regretted yelling. However, I also expressed that I felt I deserved an apology for how I was spoken to. He smirked and refused to apologize. My concern is that the tone and manner in which I was treated felt dismissive and age-related. Elder disrespect is real, and when interactions feel overtly condescending toward older customers, it's important to speak up. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Customer service should reflect the same quality as the products you sell.
