The service is terrible . We ordered lights for our kitchen . The one light was missing a six inch piece. We called them and they said they emailed the company. It's been two weeks with no follow up. I called the company they have the part in stock but said LBU must work through their sales rep. I spoke to the sales rep last Wednesday she said she ordered the replacement and would email me a confirmation. I received nothing. Very poor customer service read more

Dishonest pricing. I bought 7 lights from them for $1500. I canceled my order for one of the lights before I even received it. I was charged a $150 restocking fee for a $400 light. This was just a standard outside flush mount light. It wasn't a special order. They never told me about their return policy when I purchased the light. I even asked if I could return it and they said yes but omitted telling me about the 35% restocking fee. It is much safer to buy from Lowes, Home Depot or Amazon where you can cancel your order without an egregious fee. read more

Terrible service. Condescending individual that clearly had better things to do. Walked into store looking to purchase lighting for a new home that's under construction. Individual begrudgingly left his desk after 5 minutes of looking at his computer screen. Had absolutely no interest in helping us make selections and/or choose a theme. read more

We were having some difficulties on a fixture we purchased from LBU. It seems that it was not installed correctly from a contractor (not afflicted with LBU) We contacted the store and Robert advised to bring it in immediately to see what the problem is. They had fixed it (no charge to us). So happy to bring it home. But it might be defective as the same problem occurred. We emailed Robert, who probably thinks we are bizarre people!!!, and he wants to take it back and try again! Service is amazing...wonderful customer service, beautiful store and products. Lots of beautiful Lighting, but do not purchase it there. I saw a light on line, LBU had it in the store, so I purchased it there. Because of the number of lights in the store it is difficult to see how much light each one emits. I talked to sales person to make sure it would provide adequate lighting for my space. He assured me it would be more than enough. To make a long story short, the 2 lights together do not light the bathroom sufficiently. Because the electrician hung the light LBU will not allow me to return them, even for a credit. The sales person never mentioned anything about No Returns. I always try to buy locally if I can but I will no longer do that! Had I ordered it on line they would have taken the lights back with a restocking fee. I should have left and never returned to LBU after my first visit when the salesperson was rude!!! read more

We stopped in this beautiful Lighting store recently and couldn't believe the great selection of lights. We also couldn't believe the unbelievable personal service!( Michael) We were having trouble finding the perfect chandelier for our dining room and eat in kitchen. We showed Michael a picture of the area and what the room decor was like and he suggested a chandelier for each room. We went home and measured etc and returned and purchased both lamps. The chandliers went up last week and they look wonderful in the space and in our decor. We couldn't be happier with our salesperson and LBU Lighting. Great experience! read more
