Thank you, Anthony, for such amazing service! I went into Michaels in Estero, and really needed some help. The cashier named Anthony came right over. Even though he was watching the front area, he also went out of his way to help me. I had him hold a big paint Easel, and some painting items. I came back with my car about 30 minutes later. I walked through the store and received no help! I got to the front and Anthony greeted me and made my day!! He deserves employee of the month. Customer care here Is awful. Walked in on a Monday at 5:30 only one of a few in the store. Approached a lady (Manager Sarah) sitting in framing for help and she didn't seem enthused. Grabbed Jules the framing associate to assist me. I just needed a mat for a frame cut which I've have done before on a few occasions and it's a fairly quick and easy process. After i informed her of what I needed she proceeded to take my info where I got the hint she wanted me to come come. So I asked if It was possible if she could do this quick so I didn't have to come back the next day. She said she was busy and told me a general direction where frames were but did not assist me to them. I went and found something that would work for me. When I came back to ask her once more if she could please just take a moment to do the quick cut for me she said she had closing calls to do and she hasn't even taken her break. It was not close to closing and what happened to customer care? None the less Jules was gossiping to the Manager Sarah about our first encounter. The next day I return to see Alin the framing manager to get some adequate help and upon approaching the store manager was also sitting there in framing while Alin was with a customer she never once offered to assist me or answer any questions. After Alin was able to help me and cut my matting (less then 5 minutes).. I asked to speak with the store manager about my visit the day prior. Tiana approached me of which I realized was the lady who never lifted a finger to assist any of the customers. So I was instantly irritated. I voiced my concern about the day prior and she said she was surprised because Jules Is a school teacher. I then expressed how upsetting this all was and that I wanted to speak with corporate and she proceeded to offer me a "Make It right coupon" where you have to spend money to save money lol. It was a shut you up coupon. I went home and realized the mat that was cut was actually crooked and had to come back the third day. Time, Money, Gas wasted... I'm beyond furious. I did end up contacting corporate and speaking with the district manager Ed who seemed so kind and supportive of the situation. I however will ever step foot in the store again. They have no concept of customer care/service. read more

What can I say about Michael's that you don't already know? Well, unless you're just not familiar with Michaels in general. It's a fabulous craft store. I always find what I want... and if not, just ask an associate. This visit, I wanted acrylic paints that were kid safe and didn't know where in the store to head. I asked an associate and she walked me right to the spot to find the paints. That's a win! read more

Had an a good shopping experience until I was rudely encountered by the manager. She was extremely rude to both me and a employee, because we didn't know if an item was for sale. The item was on the shelf with many more it's kind, leading both me and the employee to think it was for sale. read more

I've been to this Michaels a couple times now; the first was around the holidays and the second was fairly recently. It's laid out nicely, with easy access to all the aisles you need to go to, as well as friendly employees at various points in the store (frame department or people stocking for example). Each time I've walked in, there have been things I've found that I needed, and other items whispered "buy me! Buy me!!" and I've given into temptation for a few things, but I can't bring home everything. I'll be back when I'm in the area (especially around the holidays - they don't stock much for Chanuka, but they had much more than the other locations... which had nothing) and I'll continue to frequent the Ft. Myers location as well. read more

We go to Michaels most of the time to get our framing done. I just got a really nice print of the beatles signed by the original animator and went to get it framed. Brandon had worked with us before and he did once again. He is awesome. He helped us pick the colors, looked up our history or purchases to match the frames etc. he was super friendly and really knows his business. I know people complain allot about the help in retail stores but Brandon does not fall into that category. He is excellent. Michaels should have more like him. read more
