I couldn't say it anymore strongly... go somewhere else for appliances. I didn't pull up in a Porsche but have plenty of money. I was completely ignored by everyone working there and believe me there were more than a few people around that weren't already busy with customers. I was finalizing plans for a full home remodel and needed appliances for my kitchen and utility room. They had an amazing selection of high end to ultra high end equipment. But nobody wanted to help me so I left. I ordered everything from Best Buy and Home Depot. Between them they sell the most appliances in the country. Best of all, they stock most of it too so delivery is really quick. You'll also get the best deals that way too. Just order at home. If your looking for a showroom of high end appliances that is willing to actually help everyone walking in the door try Ferguson. read more

Unfortunately, my experience with Bill Smith has not been great. I did a kitchen remodel 4 years ago and purchased a refrigerator, microwave drawer, wine refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven. Within the 4 years, my Bosch refrigerator ice maker has had to be replace twice, my Bosch oven had an electrical fire and almost burned my house down, and my microwave drawer has broken twice and cannot be repaired. I have had technicians out at least 6 times and they don't know how to fix it. I feel appliances should work for more than a couple of years. I spoke with the manager, and he said he couldn't do anything and to call the manufacturer, Sharp. I would have been happy if he offered me a discount to replace the microwave after all the business I have given them over the years. If you buy from Bill Smith, take out a 5-year warranty on all appliances and be prepared to get many visits from their technicians that will cost a fortune. read more

For starters their service sucks! We bought a new dishwasher one year ago. Have had 3 repair attempts to fix it. FINALLY, they said that it always needs to have rinse aid or it won't work correctly. Said many people have complained about this. No where in the manual nor did any employee tell us this ! They still charged me $130 for the 'service' call. Will never use them again. read more

So please. Go any where else for appliances,, We spent major dollars during Covid during a renovation took forever 8 months to get double ovens. Move forward. Appliances no longer under warranty. We have now been waiting for 2 months for my oven repair. Had to pay for the diagnostic service. Not diagnosed correctly. it was wrong part And the sad part is we really cook at my house. Bill Smith is terrible. We thought them having their own service was impressive. But no. My next call will the Better Business Bureau. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would. I bought a Frig and microwave and dishwasher from them in roughly 2018. 4 years in my fridge was having issues. 409$ later it's fixed. Then at approx 5 years in the fridge is totaled. Not worth it to fix GE says. Against my better judgement and at the urging of my parents I bought ANOTHER GE fridge from them. 31 days in it's freezing everything in the freezer with freezer burn and not making ice. Naturally my parents went to The store to speak to the manager because the fact the fridge isn't working correctly after 31 days is a HUGE red flag. Naturally, I don't want this refrigerator. I want to exchange it. The manager told me that he is just a sales person at this year and I will have to go through GE for everything. They have no regard for the product they put Out. Their return policy is to 30 days and at 31 days they don't want to even consider exchanging it because it's ALREADY giving me issues. I try and give the mom and pop shop places my business, but I will not give this business another dollar . Home Depot and Beat Buy have better customer service. read more

The other day, technician # 70 ( I cannot remember his name) did a fabulous job in replacing my Samsung Refridgerator filter. It felt like it was jammed in there and in two seconds he removed the old one and replaced it with a new one. He was pleasant, reliable, knowledgeable and friendly! I will never go anywhere else but Bill Smith Appliance, especially on Marco Island! read more

Started building a house over a year ago, ordered appliances and had them delivered and installed into our new home, all had some type of damage and the hood was never sent (back ordered apparently for almost a year). The range had a scratch and the refrigerator had damage, they came out three separate times to repair each time with the wrong parts. The range hood was one that we settled on and when it was finally delivered it was damaged too. All they could say was "sorry". So we are at the mercy of their poor business practices. read more

Ten years ago we purchased all our appliances from Bill Smith. We have been satisfied with their products. I just had to replace a 10 year old washing machine, so purchased a set even though the dryer was fine. Delivery was quick and efficient. My problem is with the sales person Laurance. He is abrupt. I feel he has more pressing business to attend to than talking with me. Today I had two questions and he hung up on me before I could ask if he was sending a copy of the warranty, and I had to call him back. He needs to work on his people skills. read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever had, Never get Bill Smith's service agreement. We bought the service plan from Bill Smith for our new appliances. In December, our dishwasher was no longer working, We called and it took a month before they could come out, The tech had a family emergency on the day of the appt so they rescheduled for another three weeks. He had to order parts and they would not book an appointment until the parts came in and then it took another three weeks to. get an appointment. It still did not work so he has ordered another part. He said it would take 3-5 days for the part to come in. I called today, day 4 and the part has not been ordered. It is now almost four months and I have no confidence that this next part will fix the dishwasher, I thought they might try to blame the plumbing so I called in a plumber to make sure that that was not the issue. It was not the plumbing. The service person would not let me speak to a supervisor. read more

Very unpleasant experience. The salesperson who approached us when we walked in scoffed at our budget and took forever looking at his computer screen in order to suggest models that would fit the space in our kitchen. Then he had us running up and down the aisles of refrigerators not knowing what he was looking for. It was crazy. My son spotted one that looked like it fit the bill, and the salesperson "measured" it and said it wouldn't fit. That's when we noticed he was holding the tape measure upside down and didn't extend it for the full length of the unit. We took the tape measure from him and showed him it would fit, but by this time, we were disgusted and left. We went on to purchase our appliance at Best Buy. read more

We purchased an LG refrigerator, LG induction stove and Bosch dishwasher from Bill Smith Appliances. They were accommodating of our preferred delivery window. Bill Smith Appliances, Naples, sold me an outside ice maker which failed 2 years later. To replace it they quoted me a price that was over $1,000 more than Good Deals Appliances in Naples!! They came back 2 more times to customize the difficult installation immediately...with NO EXTRA CHARGE!! They are the best! read more

They don't stand behind the appliances. I called 5 Times after waiting for 5 to 10 minutes and was getting disconnected. Even the Mgr hung up on me. After asking if he could call them and have someone call me back. He told me I haven't heard about any problems and refused to help me. Terrible customer service. They just want to take your money. No help on appliance repairs. Horrible if there was a minus I would give to them. Don't walk away from them. RUN!!! read more

We bought 2 kitchens in a year. The first time, service was good. The second time is a disaster. Bosch dishwasher never worked. They have sent a service tech twice. I purchased a new dishwasher in Oct 2022. Last week it stopped functioning. I called Bill Smith and the next day and the repair man told me it was the electronic control panel. They would contact me when the part was available. I have called the service department twice, and they have indicated they do not have the part and they have no idea when it will come in, but will notify me when it does. They will not call the parts department, nor can I, to check on the status of the order. They have no idea when the repair might take place. I called Steve Nielsen, the assistant manager at Bill Smith Naples, the sales person from whom I bought the dishwasher. He told me it could be six weeks or six months before the repair can be completed. There is nothing that he can do about it. I am not sure what is worse, GE appliance that fails in eight months or the appliance store that will assume no responsibility for the sale and will make no effort tory to expedite the repair. Consider this when you are about to purchase an appliance from Bill Smith. read more

On 4-28-25 we called for service on our GE Pro three door fridge which the freezer and ice maker were not running. They could not dispatch a tech until 5-6-2025. On that date a tech arrived and diagnosed the problem and wrote down the parts he needed on the work order. He stated that a service person in the office would call us and schedule a repair call once the parts were available within 3-5 business days. On 5-19-2025 I placed a call to service to see what the status is, it now being 9 days after he was at the house and we had not recieved a phone call as promised, I was informed that they had tracking on the parts (don't know if that means they were in or not) and the earliest the tech could be out is 5-30-2025. That is one whole month that we are out of a fridge/freezer. Totally unacceptable in today's day and age. We purchased the extended warranty which is the only saving grace at this time. read more

Service department is awful. The technician that came to the house said the service department would reach out in a few days with a quote and approval to order a part. Two weeks later I called to find out the price and was told it was already ordered. I asked for the price and said it was fine. The following week he called to let me know it was 1 cent more than he quoted! I told him that was fine and then he asked me if it was ok to put in the order! I said you told me last week the order was in! No comment. He said as soon as it's in they will call you with a date to install the part. They set me up with a date at the end of February. Then they called me 2 weeks later to ask if they could come a week earlier but that date didn't work for me so I said no keep my original date please. I received a call last week to notify me of the time they would be at my house on the day I told them didn't work for me, and explained that I denied the new time slot and asked to keep the original date. I was told that date was not available anymore but they could come Monday. Here we are it's Monday I had to call the service department to get a 4 hr window when I could expect them and I was told I don't have an appointment! They said my appoint is March 24th! This has been going on since the first week of January! No apology, let me see what we can do....nothing. I went into the store and spoke with the Manager who gave me every excuse in the book.... I demaned to speak to the service manager which he supposedly emailed then said to me "just so you know there's 75 request in front of you! " read more

My husband and I were on the hunt for a new dishwasher and refrigerator 12/30/23. First stop. Bill Smith, Neapolitan Way, Naples, FL. There were 4 salespeople working. Not one other person in the store!!! A salesman came up to myself and my husband asking what we were looking for. I told him a Bosch dishwasher. We saw one we liked and asked him if the price was the bottom line. His reply yes and it will take 4-6 weeks to have it delivered. Not one more word came out of his mouth. Not can I show you something comparable, not is there anything else you are looking for, not how are you today, not we are having a new year sale soon, not how was your holidays, not have you been to any other appliance dealers as we can match their price. NOTHING. Note to owner, do yourself a favor hire better salespeople. You lost a great sale due to horrible service. Went to Good Deals and bought a Whirlpool dishwasher and refrigerator. Salesperson was wonderful. Gave us the sales price before it was on sale. Spent a lot of time with us and answered all our questions. Spent $5000.00 and bought 2 great appliances with 5-year warranty. Do yourself a favor skip Bill Smith and go right to Good Deals. Oh, we received our appliances within 5 days with no wait. read more

If you do buy an appliance from Bill Smith A&E, buy the extended warranty from the manufacturer not Smith. The Samsung fridge turned out to be a lemon. Every part was changed out, some twice. Samsung rep said had it been under their extended warranty, they would most likely have replaced with a new unit. With the extended warranty expired, the fridge once again required servicing. The person in B.S. service dept deemed the code warranted emergency service. Someone would call me to arrange an appointment. About an hour later, I received a call to say that a technician would be despatched Friday... of the following week... eight days later! Called again on Saturday to cancel the appointment. ''Please call back Monday because the service dept is closed weekends.'' I'm certain that must be due to the fact that refrigerators never break down on weekends. Mine is the exception. read more

Our recent experience with Bill Smith was 5 star. I would highly recommend Lawrence, who we worked with this time. We had been looking at under counter beverage centers last spring but all were a special order with a 4-6 month wait so we could not get one as we were leaving for the season. When we came back in June, we asked for Lawrence and he not only remembered us but also what we were looking at. He and Michelle, the manager on duty, found us the 2 door under counter beverage center we wanted and it was delivered the next day. The delivery was made within the time promised. The deliver charge was reasonable. My husband and I could not have done this ourselves as the unit weighs over 200 pounds. The unpacking was done outside of our building and then brought up. The delivery people were careful bringing and setting our appliance up. If we had an old beverage center they would have also taken it away. If you want a salesperson who is knowledgeable and provides good customer ask for Lawrence Khong. * Our previous experiences with two different salesmen at Bill Smith ( Neapolitan Way store) were not positive. We found them indifferent and not very helpful when they found out we were only making a small purchase. However Bill Smith does have an assortment of under counter beverage centers on the showroom floor versus ordering on line. read more

Bill Smith Appliances & Electronics - Wine and Beverage Center With Dual Temperature Controls - Electronics Near Me - Naples, Florida

Customer service seems overwhelmed making their proactive follow up virtually absent. Constant phone calls or emails have been required since July 2020 (I am writing this review in Dec 2020 so I can't be accused of lack of patience or forbearance due to Covid. ) Suffice to say without going into 6 months of detail which would cause anyone boredom to read all about that unless the amount of time it takes to complete your project isn't a concern other appliance providers may be better read more

I bought a highly recommended(from the Bill Smith salesman) GE Profile refrigerator from Bill Smith last December, 11 months later the switches went bad on the door so the ice and water wouldn't dispense. We called service and had to wait 10 days to get someone out. They came out and said yes it's broken so now we will order the parts. We were told that they never order parts ahead when it's warrantee work. I have called repeatedly and have been told they cannot schedule a service call until the parts come in. We finally got scheduled for Jan 6th and more things are beginning to break. We asked to speak with a supervisor and were told that ten days after the sales they no longer care if here is a problem??? I would never buy from them again read more

My 85 year old mother is having a HORRIBLE experience with this store. She purchased a dishwasher in July 2020, and still has not received it - it is now January 2021. Constantly getting non-answers and a run around for reasons why she doesn't have her appliance delivered. This is shameful, particularly in the middle of a pandemic. And, now you expect her to return to the store to have to sort this in person? one of the most vulnerable populations during COVID-19? I am truly disappointed in the Naples store - and will be calling to complain to ensure the sales team compensate her. I wish I lived in Naples to do this in person myself! read more

We have purchased all of our major appliances at the Bill Smith store on Neopolitan over the past few years. Great showroom, but the service is amazingly poor. Many unreturned phone calls, unmet delivery dates, and just all around bad customer relations. We won't buy another thing from this organization. By the way, this is the first time we have ever written a negative review on any company, so you can bet that the service was bad to make me sit down and write this.... I had a solid experience working with my sales rep Lawrence and local leadership (especially in light of all the shortages and delays) - but DO NOT USE McLeod Installations if they are referred to do your install - especially if you are doing anything built in. I had to uninstall the work done by them, they could not handle the double oven install - citing "cabinetry issues" - they made no effort to arrive at a solution with my contractor - who I made sure was on site for installs. Left with ovens sitting in my living room - I then hired an alternate installer (who was excellent) to uninstall their work (which was super shoddy) and reinstall both the fridge and double ovens - it now looks perfect! I requested a partial refund from McLeod - they refused and think they were paid fairly - they are rude, repeatedly telling me " they are the only show in town" - unfortunate that they are even on a referral list by Bill Smith. Also - customer is on hook to make sure the handle clearances are accounted for - Dacor not much help nor was sales - I recommend you have Bill Smith do a formal pre-site review - I was not aware they did this. read more

Bill Smith Appliances & Electronics - This is after the second installer fixed the original botched install! - Electronics Near Me - Naples, Florida

I live in Naples Florida. I am currently searching for a good quality dishwasher and have been checking out the reviews with the manufacturers and the stores that carry them. 'Bill Smith Appliances and Electronics is a family-owned and operated company providing sales and service since 1954" My family has lived in Naples since 1967 and felt that Bill Smith Appliances would be a reputable and reliable company to service their customers and that they would stand behind their product warrantees, guarantees, service dates etc. I thought I would call Bill Smith Appliances and inquire about my dishwasher purchase and ask for their recommendations. I went online to check out the Bill Smith Appliances reviews on YELP. KUDOS to you Lawrence; as you did get some excellent reviews on servicing customer's concerns and needs. However, there were many negative feedbacks on the companies policies regarding poor quality service, repair, delivery issues as well as related impersonal lack of response and concern to customers who paid in full with warrantees etc. I was disappointed to see all these negative responses from their customers who put their faith and trust in this company. I regret to say that I will not be calling Bill Smith Appliances as a result. Obviously some personal reviews can be taken with a grain of salt! However; the reviews of previous customers and their personal experience with vendors (positive or negative) help enable us as potential customers, to make quality decisions as to where we buy, purchase and invest our hard earned money. . I hope this will be helpful information to our consumers. Thank you for allowing me to share this information. Roberta Marie Keiser read more
