For those who don't know, that would be every Wednesday during the spring-summer-fall seasons, but that's another review! It was pleasant to bump into our farmer friends in the parking lot on this drizzly morning. We ordered up our breakfasts. Hubby selected a homemade hash omelette in a wrap, with hash-browns on the side. A beautifully plated breakfast, I was not able to snap a photo before he began diving in! My special order was easily accommodated: a 3-egg cheese omelette with hash-browns and rye toast and a side of very delicious Italian sausage patty. Again, beautifully plated and crazy delicious. The breads and baked goods are homemade, which is a plus in my book! Very delectable! The service is great! Our waitress was totally cheerful, prompt and competent in taking our order and keeping our beverages full. There is a very nostalgic walk-up ice cream window. Brings up memories of my childhood, carefully reading all the flavors and selecting the most innovative and unique flavor for my cone! I found the restaurant to be very clean and welcoming. It's safe to say that Cozy Corner lives up to its name. It's clearly a diner, so no fancy frills or Murano glass pendant lights. Just lots of well spaced tables and chairs and some stools at the front counter. Of special note, the Cozy Corner has a walk-up ice cream window which made my toes tremble. Yum! We highly recommend this delightful diner!

Decent diner type options. The portions are very generous. I had a three egg american cheese omelet with onions, jalapeños, spinach, and mushrooms with Rye toast and link sausage. The sausage link serving is three links. The Rye toast was excellent, and the omelet was quite good. The omelet selections come with home fries, with or without onions. I also ordered grapefruit juice and coffee. I declined the potatoes given my desire for toast. The service was prompt and friendly. The facility has a homey feel, and it was just the right amount of busy on a weekday at 9 am. I easily found a nice table selection near a gas woodstove and enjoyed my meal. I was waiting on my dog being groomed close to the restaurant and asked if I could stay and do some work, and they were happy to accommodate me. With tip, my meal was $32.

I've decided to go carnivore this morning, so I ordered three scrambled eggs and a 6 ounce steak. My plate came with hashbrowns and sourdough toast, which I boxed up and brought home for my husband's lunch. Apparently we upset the waitress by not having everyone at the table when she came by. our friend had run to the restroom while we waited for service. we assumed the waitress was slammed because it was crowded and our friend gave us their order in case she came by while they were gone. She refused to take our order until. the person returned even though we told her we could order. She was clearly irritated and told us we would, "just have to wait" Ok, we waited, our friend returned she walked by multiple times spoke loudly to a table behind us about how busy she was and appreciated that they were all ready and at the table. The customers were clearly familiar to her as they responded by loudly commenting on how rude it was ... this continued with other tables to the degree that she went to the counter acros form our table and simply stared directly at me shaking her head and commenting to other customers about "rude people" When she finally came to take our order (about 20 minutes into our wait) she repeatedly made surprisingly snarky remarks. Actually ti felt like a weird SNL skit. I keep thinking someone was going to jump out and tell us we were bing "Punked". Nope. Then we got the food. It was just bad, tasteless, overcooked, just not good. There were some cooked carrots shaped into small balls on the plate. I didn't eat them. She actually stated to me, "you didn't eat your carrots!!" It was seriously bizarre. I see large crowds there. Maybe it's because of their baked goods. we didn't stay to try dessert.
