This is the most unique concept I've ever experienced for an Apple Store. I was greeted by Manuela who worked expeditiously to get me lined up with a genius care, professional. She checked in with me periodically to let me know how things are moving along, and I really appreciated those updates. I was helped by Sir Alain, who had superb customer service from start to finish. In addition to being knowledgeable and patient, I genuinely felt like he was looking out for my best interest without trying to upsell me anything. With the precision of a surgeon he trouble shots issues with my phone, and I am exceedingly happy with the purchase that I made. I also had a chance to speak to the manager Steven. He took time to ensure everything went well, and we had a conversation that was personable and welcoming, but interesting Apple products and fitness tracking wearables. Stopped in here so I could buy a new MacBook Pro. Had checked online and the model I wanted was in stock. This location wasn't the closest to my hotel but I figured parking would be easier at a mall vs downtown Miami. Decent sized store in a corner location. Closest parking was valet but there weren't any visible attendants. Got to the store, quite a few people in the store, no employees available as they were with other customers. Saw a sign to pick up orders. Figured that would be the fastest way given the lack of available employees, but the model I wanted was now sold out. so no new MacBook Pro for me. read more

The customer service was in point. I don't know what it is about Apple stores but their energy is so lax. We had a couple of people attend to us and I mean 4-5 people, and they were all extremely courteous, very nice e, patient, cool my God I thought, I'm in retail heaven! We came in to upgrade our phones and was so happy to do it at the Apple Store! My Cell provider actually gave us the idea to find out at the Apple Store if they had better deals and they actually did! Their Apple Care program is also better than my cell provider's and actually costs less! I was actually pleasant surprised with the whole experience. And you know the Apple Store is gonna be pretty right?!? They always are! Well this one at Dadeland has a myriad of real trees inside the store, I love this concept of bringing nature into the digital world of Apple! The store is so aesthetically pleasing to me, makes me so chill that I don't mind the waiting part! I think it's a psychological thing they do..they make their store so pretty and calming because they know people are gonna wait and sometimes for hours... I had a very disappointing experience at the Apple Store because of an employee named Monica. My mom had already made one unnecessary trip after being given incorrect information. We both had to leave our schedules, and I even left work early, only to be told yet again that what we needed couldn't be done. Monica, who was training another employee, immediately told my mom that the transaction was impossible, even though we had the funds and the Apple Card required to complete it. From the very beginning, everything was a "no" from her, as if she had no interest in helping us or completing a sale. After repeatedly being told "no," I asked to speak with a manager. The manager came over and resolved the issue quickly, confirming that the transaction could, in fact, be completed. What made the experience even more frustrating was that while the manager was actively helping us, Monica stood behind him repeatedly saying, "No, no, no, we can't do that," despite the manager explaining otherwise. It was incredibly unprofessional and undermined both the customer experience and her own manager. Throughout the interaction, Monica spoke negatively about me within earshot of both me and her manager. She also insisted that she was "an expert," even though no one had questioned her knowledge. Her tone came across as dismissive, condescending, and disrespectful. When we simply asked for the name of the employee who had previously helped my mom, Monica immediately said, "No, we can't do that," and then turned to the employee she was training and said, "No, we can't do that, never," right in front of us. If she wanted to coach a trainee, that conversation should have happened privately--not in front of customers. Her body language, including scoffing and waving her hands dismissively, only added to how uncomfortable and unwelcome we felt. Thankfully, the manager handled everything professionally and resolved our issue within minutes, which made it clear that the information we had been given by Monica was incorrect. Yes this apple is decorated really nice with all the trees and spotlights. But that doesn't mask the terrible service. I went in for a simple battery replacement. Supposedly they broke the screen during the repair. The promised time was 12pm. I didn't leave till 2pm. They have a ton of employees standing pretending to be busy. Entitled and ridiculous I came into the store with a time limit (the parking outside costs per hour). I was with my children who gravitated to the iPads. I did not get assistance for over 20 minutes because I wasn't standing in the area of the item I came in to purchase...a phone! Despite the table being 2 tables down the 4 Apple employees I saw doing nothing but chatting with each other did not assist me...this is inefficient and how is this customer service????? If not in the area of the item you wish to purchase you will NOt get service. I explained I was with my kids and asked for someone to come to me...TWO whole tables away to keep an eye on my kids....didn't happen!!! The staff obviously cannot be bothered to move out of their assigned area...there's an assumption that customers must adhere to their ridiculous, unspoken expectations with zero accommodations. I usually expect much better from Apple, which is why this experience at the Apple Store at Dadeland in Miami was so disappointing. My blue iPhone 17 Pro, 256GB unexpectedly died, would not charge properly past about 5%, and then began restarting itself every few minutes. I even tried using my MacBook charger as a troubleshooting step, but the phone still would not stay on long enough for a full backup. I went to the store and was told it was a strange issue and that they would likely need to replace the logic board. Since I did not have a full backup, I went home and saved what I could to Google Photos and iCloud. I returned for the repair and ended up waiting through two failed repair attempts over several hours. I was also told the phone did not have water damage. The most frustrating part was that I asked multiple times whether the phone could just be exchanged, but I was told it would only be replaced if the same color was available. Then later I was told there was no stock at all. After nearly 12 total hours of disruption across multiple days, I left without a repaired phone and was told to pursue another location myself. One employee was professional and genuinely tried to help, but the overall process felt disorganized, poorly communicated, and much more stressful than it should have been. read more

Kenny the Portmaster !! This guy was great and helpful, very attentive and I appreciated his help! My iPhone stopped charging and it was giving me a hassle and Kenny got my phone, lit up the port and started picking stuff out from the port and told me if I still needed assistance after getting the job done. I appreciate that because i would've had to wait 3 hours if you don't show up with an appointment at the time I came... but I'm glad he figured it out for me so quickly!! It relieved me bruh cuz like I be on the road a lot and my phone is being used to work... so he saved me a lot of time. The last review is 100% accurate - wasted so much time here. First of all, the estimate they gave us (to come back 2 hours later, at 8:45pm), was way off. Ended up staying at the store for an additional 45 minutes - they kept coming out every 5 mins saying it'd be another 10-15, or another 8-9... If there ever was ever a time that this store was good I have not seen it. There's a reason why this store always has day off genius appointments it's because people rather drive out of their way than be subjected to this store. The ones who run the line are rude and basically trying to show you up for some reason? I had an appointment and called ahead to ask if I could arrive earlier- was told yes and the guy in the line made a whole production about me being 10 minutes early. COVID, we all know we must account this into the equation (BUT check reviews before COVID as well). Even with the new process for all, the issue here are their security guards, which are REPRESENTING the experience customers go through. Apple gave security guards a whistle and the guards think they are running security for Airforce 1, with lack of communicating the protocol to arriving Apple customers, HAVING an appointment, show up on time. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and a lady guard told me, "get out of the line and come back in 10 minutes", came back to do the line, now "is not the line, check in with the other security guard" go to the other security guard, who then said "go stand on the line" all while aggravating the experience for myself and about 15 other customers waiting. Apple sure put a tarnish on customer experience by putting captain Micky 1099 rent a cop to communicate their messy subjective protocol. Something that always amazes me when I come into an Apple store, is the amount of people lingering at any given time. My husband and I drove all the way to Miami because the Apple Watch he wanted to get was only in stock here. It was a Saturday and the store was full to the brim, but you also can see a ton of guys in red T-shirt who are the geniuses I guess you call them. It feels like there is equal part customers and sales associates, wow! As soon as we came in we were asked by a guy with a clipboard what we were looking for so he could direct us to the right person. Hubby told him he was interested on buying the Apple Watch series 4 and he directed him to wait behind some people so one of the guys there could help them. We must've waited 10 minutes before hubs started getting impatient. The people in front of us seemed to be having phone problems and it looked like it was going to take a while to get them solved. Meanwhile on another table I saw a sales lady helping people with watches and he told me to go to her. Sure enough not two minutes later she was helping us. The process was actually painless. Hubs looked at the Watch he wanted, decided whether he wanted the small or large band, told her he would take it, she asked for it through an earpiece, he paid for it, and we were all set. I was actually very relieved because I thought we were going to have to stand on a half hour line just to pay. I am a big Apple user, I am biased but whenever you can, when getting an Apple product try and go to an Apple store. you don't save any money getting them elsewhere. read more

Beautiful store, busy, buzzing with people and energy. I needed a product replacement. I am from out of town. I totally forgot to set an appointment. They took my info and put me in line for a repair. A few nice reps walked over and walked my daughter to a learning and art station and helped her setup with an iPad pro and a Pencil and she was drawing for the duration of the time I waited for my replacement. 10 minutes later I was called, got my cable replaced with virtually to issue. The rep at the genius bar stated: "I'm going to do you a solid. Let's replace the brick too, to be safe." I still don't know why our cable failed but this process was almost completely painless. Roughly $100 in replacement parts, no cost, no fuss, during a busy Saturday and all done with smiles and professionalism. You can't ask more from a retail team. Very well run Apple store. read more

They have a goooood group of employees and they are all with a nice attitude. Walked into the stored was greeted by a gentlemen, tall dark skin, didn't grab his name. Very nicely treated. I was told my airpod needs to be serviced by Genius Bar. Scheduled my appointment for 5:55pm. Was instructed to come 5 mins before, so I did. While waiting the Q pushed my back 20 mins. He advised to come back 30 mins, so I punctually arrived back. The same service rep told me the system canceled you, no email or anything was sent. Then I was told since he didnt "check me in" I had to be put back on the Q. Then as he did, he said I had to wait and there were approx 20 people on front. This was so unacceptable, due to the misguided information I should have been rushed up the Q.
