This place is a total joke! So many blue shirt Apple workers standing around while dozens of people are waiting to get service or help. I waited a month for a replacement battery to arrive at store. It took them 2 hours to tell me I needed a new battery and then a month to get it replaced. When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, it took 20 min to be seen and then they took my phone and told me it would be 3 hrs to replace battery. After 3 hrs, I arrived to pick my phone up but it took another 35 min to be seen and then I was charged $37 for a battery that the 6S phone needed. They gave me the phone back on uncharged on red so who knows if it was even replaced! Total joke!! read more

The staff are incredibly friendly, ready to solve any problems you might have, with intuitive Apple solutions. Personally, I was in the market for the swanky new Apple Watch, so I returned my gifted iPad, and opted for their beautiful Milanese Loop watch band- and the series 3 watch! While I'm not a huge fan of the decor, the atmosphere is vibrant and the excitement bleeds through from employees to customers. Definitely a place of wholehearted enthusiasm! read more

Apple sales staff are consistently above average no matter what store. I find the smaller stores like this one the staff is very good, knowledgeable, chill, interested in helping you do the right thing. Using their support Genius bar folks doesn't always bring good news (it helps a lot to have Applecare) but the people are nice. All in all a top of the line retail experience. I had an appointment at their store tonight (12/28/21) at 6:15 to get my MacBook battery replaced. When I arrived the front door was locked, the security gate was down, and all of the employees (maybe 25 or so) were huddled in the middle of the store for some type of meeting. They could see me waiting outside during their open store hours yet didn't bother to let me know why they were locked up. As I was waiting outside, three other customers, two of whom also had appointments, came up and were similarly ignored. After about 15 minutes, some of the staff looked at us, turned their back on us, turned off some of the lights and went to the back room of the store. They continued to occasionally peek out the back room door to see if we were still there. Again, no explanation for the closure, not even a note on the door. I drove a fair distance to get my battery replaced, as did some of the other customers waiting with me outside. If this abrupt closure was somehow Covid related, I call bullshit. The employees were all standing quite close to each other during their meeting so "catching it" did not seem to be a big concern. I am really disappointed that Apple thinks so little of its loyal customers that it is Ok to ignore us. I was on the phone with Apple care as all this happened and Apple care repeatedly tried to call the store to see what was going on and the employees ignored the calls. read more

*UPDATE* - Four days later, the MacBook Pro was ready to be picked up. I'd asked Reese the genius at the first appointment if it could be mailed to my parents house in Cape Coral, seeing is how it's a 50 minute drive to this store. He said that we would need to pick it up in the store because they'd turn it on & test it to make sure it would work. We made the trip on Thursday & came in to pick it up. We were told to wait at one of the One On One tables. About 3 minutes later, a younger girl came over & asked to see my ID. She then handed the computer to me and a paper that showed what they'd fixed & told me I was good to go. I really wished they could've just mailed it if they weren't going to power it on & look at it. *END UPDATE* So my mom recently bought a new MacBook Pro. This was her first Mac & I'd convinced her that she's like it much better than her past HP & Dell computers. She'd had it for about two months and she was always saying how it lost the WIFI signal. She & my father live down here in Cape Coral & I live in Nashville. I came down to visit & checked out her computer & there was definitely something wrong with the wifi card. Usually, it's pretty easy to make an Apple Store appointment, at least it is in Nashville. You really only need a day notice up there. I checked on the Apple Store app & noticed that this was the closest Apple Store. The only appointment in a near future was at 4:30pm on a Monday. I made the appointment at 11pm on that Sunday before. I guess I was pretty lucky because after that there wasn't an appointment available listed on the app. I checked the other Apple stores in the area & a few were available, but they weren't available until Saturday, the day we were leaving. We arrived at the Coconut Point mall. It's kind of a confusing place if you're not familiar with it, but luckily Google Maps was able to direct us to the Apple Store. We walked in & the place was busy. The people up front were busy helping people so we made our way to the back & a young lady was able to check us in & had us wait at the Genius Bar. We only had to wait about 5 minutes until our Genius, Reese came over to help us. We explained what was going on with the laptop to Reese & he was able to look it over & see that it did have an issue with the wifi antenna & he created a work order for it. They were going to have to send it in for repair, Reese stated that it was going to be about 5-7 days turn around. I wished that the computer didn't have any issues, but I'm really happy they're able to fix it and not give us the run around. Reese was very helpful & explained the repair process. We were in and out the store in about 15 minutes. The store was very busy, but we didn't have any issues with having to wait a long time like some of the other Yelpers. read more

I went to the store and everyone was nice and welcoming, the location is very busy and it took me a few minutes to get an agent but I was patient because it's a busy location!. You might be wondering why I'm giving a two star? Well, here comes the story and BEWARE when they make you open up a credit card. I was interested on an iMac for college purposes and I went to see if they had any financing so I can make my purchase. I was told that the BARCLAYS VISA had a promotion of 18-months with no interest charge if paid in full within the 18 months. I applied and got approved for 2k so I told the lady that I needed to check what Best Buy had to offer but asked if I could wait for my physical card on the mail to make my purchase and she nicely said "yes! You could make the purchase any time". Well, I went back a few weeks later and did my purchase. Again, I work at customer service so I know how these cards work and I asked if my promotion was applied or that if there was any tier coupon that he needed to scan, the gentleman said that my promotion is automatically because it was over a thousand And i got my 18Ms. Boy was I making a big mistake! They gave me wrong information, after two months I received an interest charge and when I called BARCLAYS VISA they stated that I had to make the purchase within 30 DAYS AND CALL BARCLAY TO PUT THE PROMOTION IN MY ACCOUNT and that "the sales associates at the Apple stores don't know anything regarding the cards and are giving wrong information". I called Apple Customer support and was directed to the store, from the store I was directed back to Apple customer support, it was such a mess, nobody could help me, nobody knew anything and at that point I said "forget it! I'm going to return this and call it a night" and called Apple customer support and a gentleman by the name of ERIC said that there shouldn't be a problem if I return it to the store, I asked again "are you sure? The return policy says 19 days and its way over that" he agreed and said it should be fine because of my issue. Well! Here comes again, I was given wrong INFO, the manager said NO to return it after I called Apple customer support again, I live an hour away from this store, nobody from Apple was able to help me and so far I am waiting to see how BARCLAYS is going to help me, a gentleman by the name of DAVID said that he was going to help me with the financing and that by December 1st I should check back and see that the interest was waived. I am so disappointed because the least you expect after spending so much money is to get customer service, but nop! I bought my iPhone 11 brand new from Verizon, in May. And have had nothing but trouble with it. It keeps getting so hot that I can't hold it. Doesn't matter what I'm doing, playing an app game.. on fb.. on a phone call.. using maps.. or even writing this now! I have called apple numerous times, and they made me an appointment where I took my phone in a few months ago. They looked it over and "everything checked out" and they started a restore to factory settings. The lady who was working with me had to go gone, so another man finished helping me.. and when it was done restoring turned it on and went to a few things on the phone and it got hot. This guy told me I would have to contact Verizon to get a replacement because I just got my phone. Not sure why he couldn't replace it, I have apple care and was right there. So I called Verizon and they sent me a refurbished phone, after I paid $900 for a brand new phone, I get a refurbished phone, whatever.. but, it came with the same overheating issues! So I'm calling apple over and over! They make me another appointment with the "Genius Bar" (hah). I get paired with a guy who proceeds to tell me there are "no notes about any overheating issues" on my account. But not according to apple when I called them later that day.. and he runs tests and says the phone is working great.. meanwhile it was too hot for him to hold in his hand! He had to place it on the table.. but, ok it's working fine. Then I tell him this particular phone has issues with the touch screen not picking up touch in spots.. you have to tap and tap to get it to go through. And he runs a test, and I'm watching, as he runs his finger along and spots aren't picking up and he goes back and goes over them multiple times.. but "the phone is working great". Do they just do whatever they can, to not replace faulty items? They charge hundreds if not thousands for their items.. and then when there's a problem with them, they run you through hoops, until you just upgrade to the newest version, so they make more money! It's complete BS! There's obviously something wrong with my phone and iPhone 11's in general, if I have gotten 2 that have heating issues.. and I also know of a couple people who had the same heating issues, but.. whatever! My phones working fine, so long as no sensor comes up! But, I will be sure to send the bill when I get burnt, to apple! Let's see what's they care then. read more

There's no wonder that in the time of making this review (10-3-21) this location has a 2.5 star rating. I'm giving this location a 2 star because not everyone at this location is worthless good for nothing human beings. The managers at this location doesn't know the company policies and struggled to do a return for me. Returned a phone today through the patience of god, was trying to purchase the same phone but through my military discount and was being rushed to the point that an Apple employee or manager approached the young man that was helping us from the beginning and tried to speak low enough that I won't hear " they need to hurry up and make up their minds." Wasn't expecting Apple to have McDonald's type of customer service. I very rarely complain and write reviews but this overall experience today was atrocious. When you think about it how bad is Apple? $1000 phone that breaks every year or two (the longest they will last). Then when you have an issue you have the privilege of making an appointment and standing in line. Most of the time the answer is you need a new phone. So you whip out your credit card. Another awful Apple store experience. Apple in general is not a customer-service oriented company, and this store showed complete indifference to its customers, who were forced to wait outside in a long line as no more than two were allowed in the store at one time, "because covid". Oddly, virus concerns did not apply to Apple employees, a half dozen of whom stood in the back of the store doing nothing. I arrived before my appointed window to pick up the laptop I'd purchased online, and wasn't admitted until 25 minutes later, after it had passed. Once inside, I asked to leave my old laptop with them so they could transfer data from it to my new one, as the tech support guy I'd met with there last week told me I could do. The front line guys tried to help me out, but the manager said they weren't doing data transfers anymore. Why? "Because covid". How is moving data between computers going to spread covid? "I'm not discussing this". I'm all for taking the virus seriously, but this is ridiculous. They're just using it as an excuse not to work. Just a terribly managed store. This is not a review on the store but the company Apple itself. Apple has come a long way with their products. I admire everything that they have made up until this Apple watch series 3. I attempted to contact customer support about the watch in which had damage to it. The support I was given was helpful unfortunately the company thinks their products are too good to refund or even replace damaged items accordingly. The devices are unique but I will not be investing in another watch made by apple again. Apple is beginning to become slightly over rated with their designs and devices are barely changing. The innovations to progress are starting to disappear. Again this is not a review for the store but for the company of apple itself. After an astonishingly bad experience buying two iPhone 7 Plus phones at Costco, where the sales rep could not help us with the setup because, he said, the wi-fi was so bad, we took our phones to the nearby Apple Store where we were assigned a young woman who galloped through the setup at breakneck speed. I told her I was more 100 years old and she needed to slow down and explain what she was doing in a way that I had a remote possibility of knowing what was being done. She laughed and did just that. When I told her I wanted all my apps to be downloaded to the phones she said that might take a few hours. I said I was game to send out for Chinese but I wanted everything done before I left the store. She said they stay open til 10 pm and this was not a problem. She then handed me over to another Apple genius who was in his 70s and who handheld me as I downloaded all my iTunes library. Excellent service, good humor and fabulous hand-holding. read more

My husband and I went in today to see about ordering 2 iPhone 7 Plus with no contracts on our business account. We waited for a while, which was understandable since they were very busy. We were "helped" by a woman with dyed bright red hair and glasses. We simply wanted to order 2 phones and we were treated like crap. She was extremely snippy with us and just wanted to get rid of us. We were told that she can not order the phones and to call tomorrow. When my husband was asking questions she was visibly annoyed with us, shook our hands and told us to have a nice day very curtly. She was very rude, defensive and all around a horrible sales person for Apple. We've been buying iPhones since the very first one came out, so this isn't our first rodeo. The only reason I am giving this location 2 stars is strictly due to the 2 associates who did their best in between customers to keep me sane and semi entertained. I brought my iPhone into this location because the screen blacked out. This occurrence had nothing to do with abuse or neglect. I was placed on a 3 hour waiting list. That is a ridiculous timeframe in itself. I'm visiting my Mom for the winter. She lives in Naples. I really do not normally have time like that when I am not on vacation - and I would normally not accept a wait time of 3 hours to have a defective phone corrected or replaced. The Apple Brick and Mortar locations are very sparse and sporadic and inconvenient to get to, as we all know- so I decided to go have lunch with my Mom and asked her if she wanted to shop while we waited out the remainder of time. Just over 3 hours later, while my Mom was shopping and I was staring at the 4 apple walls, I was told to sit in a waiting area closer to the genius bar and a tech was coming right over. Over 20 minutes after that, I tech finally approached me. Asked me a few questions, took my phone to the back, came back out and told me he had bad news. They refused to service my phone or replace my screen because the original battery was not in my phone. So the apple store wanted to penalize me because I had to replace my iPhone battery in the past. I had to leave the store with no help, no results, and 2 associates of the 4-5 I interacted with were less than customer centric let's say. Needless to say, I still had a phone not functioning or viewing properly. the 7th generation phone ( and every model previous ) I have now purchased for myself along with supplying my wife and grandmother with theirs thru the years. Several iPads and mac computers later not to mention the iPods. Apple is in the sales not service business. I went to ubreakifix the same night- within 35 minutes, no questions, no hassles and friendly service my phone screen was replaced and it resolved my issue. And only 89 bucks. BEYOND disappointed apple. Staff your stores correctly. Train your employees and remember where you started and came from. read more

I walked in and was signed up to have someone look at my I phone 6+ (which I have had trouble with since I got it) they were to text me when they were ready for me to come back - that text never came - the lady with pink hair who signed me up for the service said they would text up to 4times - uh, I didn't get 1 text or phone call - in frustration I left after 2 hours. Absolutely horrible customer service. The store was crowded and difficult to move around. Purchased a new Apple Product and had it delivered to this store. What a mistake. I was going to do the migration process at home versus making a Genius Apt. So I had some questions to make sure I moved everything I needed. I was directed to someone who was obviously overwhelmed. No effort was made to make sure I understood the best way and what issues I might encounter along the way. I felt frustrated as I was rushed out of the store. It was like we've sold you the new laptop now leave. Never have I received such terrible service at an Apple Store. Further I cannot understand why Apple doesn't open a larger retail location for this Region. Recommend you avoid this Apple store. Terrible experience today in this store. Went in today to purchase a new Mac book and was prompted by a employee at the front to wait off to the side. He didn't take my name or any information so I just stood waiting. After almost 30min of waiting and others being helped ahead of me my boyfriend who came in with me went to ask him about our wait time. As my boyfriend asked about our # in line the guy said he never spoke to us. Knowing we had spoken to him we let him know he had asked us to stand to the side. He then rudely said "I didn't f***ing talk to you but sure I'll put you on the sales list. HOWEVER, there are NEVER any appointment times available for the workshops to "go further" in your knowledge . Doesn't seem to matter when you try to sign up. And the appointments only go 2 weeks out. why can't they offer more workshops if they see so popular?? read more

My experience last September 28th, 2019 at Apple Coconut Point Store can be summarized to "We were told lies after the sales process and, we were deceived for the personnel at Apple Coconut Point Store". On September 28th, 2019 I arrived to the store with my wife in order to update her 8 model Iphone for the 11 model Iphone. The lady who took care of the sales process did a good job and, She recommended us to get the 200GB on ICloud in order to do a safe back up, step that we did after her advice. The backup for my wife's Iphone 8 data was started and, the sales lady transferred us to the after sales associates in order to set up the new 11 model IPhone. A lady started to set up my wife's new Iphone while the backup had been started, but it was taking longer than usual and, for that reason a gentleman came to start it over using a MAC. These persons kept trying to transfer my wife's old Iphone data to the new one but we were not seeing any progress. It was about 8:30pm and, the Gentleman said that it had been taking too long to completed the backup and, the data transfer so He said that we could go home because after 30-60 minutes my wife would be able to start seeing her data. This statement that the Gentleman said never happened! The next day, my wife went to the store and, besides She got there by the time the store opened, She was not treated in order to have her problem solved. A problem that was originated by the personnel at this store. Her old phone, which She had traded to the store, had been reset, with that all her data had been wiped out. Now a days besides my wife holds a new 11 model Iphone, She feels frustrated for how the personnel at this stored just got rid of her that Saturday night and, how the after-sales personnel Deceived her by telling her that her data would be restored in her new Iphone afterwards. I am amazed about how people at this store can tells lies to customer just to get rid of them because it is getting closer to the close the store time. That Should never happen! I Bought that new phone as a Birthday present for my wife and, now I feel that I am paying for a device that brings her frustration as a result of the lies She was told. MCaliz read more

This is the worst Apple store that I have ever been in. I needed to replace a lost iPhone and walked into a store swarming with customers. They were horribly understaffed with long lines for both tech support and sales. When I finally reached the check in person it was very clear that they were not enthused with the opportunity to help customers and would probably prefer to be at the beach. The sales person who I was finally able to talk with after an additional 90 minute wait seemed to be a new hire and while very nice was not helpful. Unless you have unlimited time and enjoy poor customer service stay away form this Apple store. If this is the Apple of the future I will soon be a Samsung customer. read more

Everyone is always so friendly and courteous, and most of all helpful! Of course it takes time, but there are always a lot of customers there. You are greeted immediately when you arrive and assigned an agent to help you. Of course, sometimes there's a line, and you must wait, but they have many techs working, no funny business going on, just good techs helping customers. This place is the WORST! If you want an apple product go to Best Buy. These people have HORRIBLE service. I had a MacBook Pro with apple care on it and the screen shattered. Then when we go to the apple store they say, "you needed apple care plus to bring the cost to 100$. I told them I had apple care and that it should cover it, and they told me that it didn't and that it would be 500$. They originally told me when I first bought the laptop that apple care would cover EVERYTHING. I was not given the option of apple care plus. I was also told they could fix it while I was there. This place (and their staff) is/are the worst! Aside from it always being overrun with people (which I can not figure out), the Apple sales/service staff makes you wait unnecessarily "parading" you around the store telling you to wait in various places -- like right in front of their accessories rack; My past experience I took my iPhone 6 in to take advantage of the $29.99 battery replacement by the end of the calendar year; When I came back to get my phone, an Apple rep came out and gave some BS story that my phone had "water" damage and it would cost an extra $200 before they could install a new battery. I angrily stormed out and went down the street to uBreakifix and for $60, I got fast, "honest", and courteous service for a new battery; I asked them if there was any water damage, they said there were "ZERO" traces or any signs whatsoever of any water damage!! Wow a lot has changed in the last year. Twice the staff and half the productivity. So I walk in to a sea of dark shirt Apple employees wait 20 minutes to talk to one of them, and when I do I explain a need a battery for the iPhone. The guy tests it out and agrees so he sets an appointment for 2 hours later. No problem, we go find something to do and when the time is ready we stand in line for another 20 minutes to confirm I arrived and ready. She sends us to a table and yet another 20 minutes pass and another girl walks up, confirms I need a battery, wipes out my passwords and says to come back in roughly an hour to meet with a genius.. Are you kidding me??? I refused and left. It is very obvious something has changed in the culture and process over there or in the company itself.
