I just purchased an iMac to replace my 2009 model Apple desktop. Matt was helpful, informative and professional. No pressure what so ever. He answered all of my questions and their staff transferred the files from the old computer to the new one. Also, recycled my old computer. Very pleased with Apple products and their service. Walked in and asked about replacing my battery and before I blink directed to representative who took care of problem. They had my battery in stock so I left it and 3 hours later I returned, picked it up, and out the door. My experience was positive. Why there we decided to check my wife's phone and that battery needs replacing. Left it over night and will pick it up later today. Representative even suggested a time to come when the crowd will be less. $29 plus tax and phone is good to go far better than cost of a new phone. My phone is a 6 and her's is 8. I arrived early and when it was my window I was told they didn't have my battery and it would be 5-10 days out and I would have to make another appointment. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I came in to buy an Apple Watch and waited over an hour. Buying a product at any actual Apple location is just horrible. They employees we're talking amongst themselves (not helping customers) and each time I asked how much longer I was told 15 mins. I would explain I've been here for 30 or 45 mins already and was condescendingly told I've only been here for 10 mins as they checked their device. I explained I know how long I've been here as I've been taking work calls and have a log... regardless not being able to get what you want in a reasonable time is just plain insane. This very well could be the worst Apple store on the planet. The service is horrible. When asking questions about one of their products all I got was double speak about how they keep track of their inventory and how their computer system works. I received no less than seven email notifications when I bought an IPad but when they said they would issue a credit for over charging me, I never got a thing. When asking the salesperson they said they had no record of the credit. Also, they said they would send me a trade-in kit, when I asked, they had no record of that either. I had a problem getting on my iPhone and tried to troubleshoot it at home to no avail . I drove 40 mins, waited on line and was talking to a young man. He was nice but rushed me and I wasn't able to understand what to do . I was willing to pay if I had to and was feeling very vulnerable and upset. I needed more hands on care and had difficulty even using your computer . I reached out to an outstanding employee Jackie; who took the time to help me. I was on the verge of tears and she quickly took charge and calmed my fears.Not everyone is a one size fits all problem. Some people are more adept at the technical level than others. My phone wouldn't accept my password or activation link. Despite repeAted tries it made my stress level increase, this is when customer service really matters! Jackie identified the problem and found a solution .She was the bright spot of sunshine in an ever present thunderstorm. This is the worse vApple Soren I've been to. i took a one month old Mac book pro in because of a problem with the display screen. at sign in, the woman said it was probably because i had a keyboard protector on it so it would not be under warranty. The guy at the Genius Bar also said he could tell that's the damage was not under warranty And charged me $99 to fix a computer that broke as i was sitting watching Netflix. It was the second time i was using this $3,000 laptop. I felt like they were prime to not apply the warranty. Fortunately i have Apple Care so it was only$99. The guy actually said that if i was going to file complaint, i could take my computer home. Im filling a complaint with Apple. read more

After reading a selection of reviews that were absolutely terrible I cautioned my girlfriend as we were on our way. We got there, signed in, resolved one of our issues immediately and were seen by a technician within 10 minutes. All of our issues were resolved within a half an hour. All staff were clean and pleasant and efficient. Other customers that were there appeared to be in good hands and I am so glad that what I read was incorrect. I had an issue with my AirPods that I have had for a couple of years. I went up to the store just so they can take a look into the issue. They had security checking people in and when I told them the issue I was told to call technical support, said that they will send me a box to ship the AirPods to them, and was turned away. When I told support this, they said that the store should have been able to help you because we can't do anything on our end at all. Support helped me reset my AirPods but it's still having issues. Support said that to take the AirPods in for further examination. I have never been so angry. Now I have to travel somewhere else that has an apple store just so I can get this issue fixed. 1-27-21. I am outraged by the customer service and complete laziness of this staff. Covid-19 cannot be used as an excuse for their was went in with an issue regarding my IPHONE 8. I was the only customer there and their was 5 employees outside & 4 inside. I had an issue with my phone and the password. The night before I updated the phone instead of restoring it. He said it's 95% done. It's difficult to get done because I don't have an Apple PC to streamline these processes so it's a pain in the ass as I was unable to perform them on my IPad. Even though the Apple Store has all the Apple Resources to accomplish this task which seems difficult to me but easy for the laziest staff in Coconut Pointe with the most expensive items. They told me to go home and call Apple Support. I took my frustration home and called Apple support from my neighbors phone & even Sihid from Apple Support was dumbfounded by their lack of customer service. I have apple care and after waiting they said I have to some back tomorrow if I don't want to pay 500$ which it says in my phone setting that I have apple care plus. So frustrating. Online it says they're open at 10, no sign posted for changed hours. The guy at the door says they open at 12! Bought a MacBook Air and iPad to replace our old units. The sales process was very helpful but the follow on activities of transitioning data from old to new was not very complete of helpful. What was referred to as "easy" took four hours of online support through levels of expertise and a great deal of frustration. Felt like they simply wanted us to take our stuff and figure it out at home. Love Apple products and their on line support team but the folks at this store have a great to learn about their products and most importantly customer service!!! I've been to this store multiple times and so I feel that I have had a good opportunity to understand the customer experience here. Each time I've been here, my experience has been underwhelming and honestly frustrating. First of all, when I shop/go to a restaurant I simply expect good courteous service -- I feel this is reasonable. However, this is exactly what is lacking at this store. Never once have I been greeted when I walked into this store. Not. Once. The store is always, and I mean always busy. That's not a problem. However there are usually free service people. Unfortunately they are almost always looking at their phones and devices. I understand they likely use this to do their job, sure. But, like I said, customers need basic courtesy. After standing around for 5-10 minutes without so much as a basic human interaction, an employee might acknowledge you. They continue to look at their phones way too much. Then in the most disorganized fashion ever they will help you at a crowded table. Even with an appointment, you cannot be made to feel like these people can afford to give you the time you expect as a customer. The last time I went there, my phone was serviced for a cracked screen. After dealing with the aforementioned issues (these come standard with any visit) I was given a 2:15 pickup time for my phone which i dropped off at 12:30. When I came back at 2:15, I of course dealt with the standard disappointing 10 minute wait until my human being was observed by a staff member only to be told that my phone screen was repaired but they would need another 30 minutes to have "diagnostics" run...so I said ok, and went on my way. Thirty minutes later I return...rinse and repeat. Waited 10 minutes before finally asking for help from someone who was standing without a customer who had seen me and seemingly ignored me. I received my phone which was repaired beautifully. I was then told that someone would be around to ring me up right away. Fifteen minutes later, the girl who brought me my phone had to go find someone to help me pay. It is the lack of awareness for customers' needs, lack of courtesy shown, and disregard for customers' time that has been demonstrated time and time again which makes me feel the need to never return to this store again. I was at this location today, getting a new phone, and trading in my existing phone. EVERYONE I encountered was awesome!!! I brought my dog Lucy, and both of us were totally welcomed! There was a security guard in front, who welcomed us in, the young man that took my initial info was great (I'm sorry I don't remember your name!), then Alexis helped with everything else. She was informative, and knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with. I never felt rushed, even though it was quite busy. I was greeted by several other employees as well, as was Lucy. Wow. For the largest company in the world, the customer service at this location (maybe others as well) is pitiful. It is absolutely the worst. A bunch of minimum wage youngsters that really don't care about anything, and don't know anything that you can't read yourself online. My complaints: 1) The wait. You have to make an appointment just to see somebody to buy a product. What a joke. You go to Best Buy, you see somebody, you buy. 2) Sales help: I recently went in to buy an Apple Watch. The sales guy knew nothing. He flipped through the presentation on the iPod learning as he went along. Then he told me I would need to order the watch online. All of this after waiting for two hours. My experience with this store was abrasive and aggressive to say the least. They now seem to have security standing outside of the store (not even wearing employee Apple shirts I may add). Now, before I could even open my mouth to ask if I could go in the store I was met with two men blocking me and beginning to question why I was even there and what my intentions were (not in a welcoming tone AT ALL). These people looked me and my boyfriend up and down in annoyance and then told us that we couldn't go in and we should just contact apples customer support. Perhaps we were profiled, I can't be positive because I can't read these peoples minds. But I know for sure I will not be coming back to that Apple store again. read more

IF you can get someone to help you, it's usually (not all the time) a good experience. But walking in there is frustrating. You see Apple employees EVERYWHERE with probably half the number of customers but yet the person at the front tells you it's going to be 45 min or forget it we're booked for the entire day and you need to make an appointment next time. Frustrating. They also close so early that you have to get off work early just to get there for the latest appointment. The COVID excuse is over. People just flat out don't want to work these days. I had a good experience here. The store is in a good location and is clean. An apple employee was quick to help me out and set me up at the Genius Bar. Wait time is why I knocked a star off, little bit longer than I would like. An employee came over and was very knowledgeable with my phone and showed me my possible options for my Face ID issue. If I didn't live in VA I would have them fix my phone. The store was well stocked and had a security guard making sure everything was under control. I boycotted apple after media reports that its updates were intentionally slowing down older iphones so that customers were forced to pay them for an upgrade. Unfortunately the microphone is inferior and has a can-like sound that fades in and out. If I use a headset the sound works fine but headsets hurt my ears and I hate them. As someone who uses their phone in business, I can't tell you how much money I've lost with this phone. Apple refused to refund our two phones. They've dragged the "repair" process on and on until they told us that our $1000 phones that never worked are now worth only $500 in January. If we want working phones we were told to cough up $249.00 to upgrade to the Iphone Xr or Xs which do have working microphones. Truly Rotten, Apple! So, for all you other consumers who have the same problem, you're not alone. You're also not helpless. You can write the FTC and ask them to investigate Apple's actions with the Iphone X. My impression was that they're well aware of this problem. In fact, the manager told me that I'd have the same problem even if I changed out the phone. Sound familiar? Write the FTC. Upgraded to the iPhone XS the Saturday before Christmas and was in and out of this store in exactly an hour (there was a line to get in when I left) Great service and friendly staff from the person checking me in, to my awesome salesmen (sorry forgot their names), to the tech guy helping me convert to the new phone. They met my expectations and exceeded them. I've been going here for several years and enjoy seeing the same faces. Watching the staff enjoy seeing a pet pig I the store just added to my enjoyment. Going into this store is a logistic nightmare. Usually someone greets you when you walk in. After you explain why you are there, they then proceed to tell you where to stand. At this point you have no idea how long you are going to stand there. Please, show me a queue on a screen. The customer wants to see where they are in order of being helped. I had hairline crack in Apple Watch that was only 7 months old. At my 2nd visit, I had an appointment. This person was very helpful. Explained that there would be no cost and I would receive a new watch in a week. When I went in to pick up new watch, I had to stand in a certain spot for 10 minutes. Then the Apple employee brought me a watch and said that will be $229. I explained that 2 other Apple employees in the previous visits had said $0. No, he said I owe $229. I finally asked for a manager. He came back after a few minutes and said he was wrong, it was $0. These employees need to be better trained. I even showed him my invoice that said my charge was $0. I purchased my IPHONE online in order to receive the Military discount. The sales associate Erin utilized my phone made the order and purchased it. Was told to come back in 45 min. I came back and was met by Justin the Manager at the time, very sarcastic and made accusations as to the possibility of using a card that was stolen. He initiated a fraud alert even after the apple themselves made the purchase and verified my identity. I then was as patient as possible with him even after knowing he was discriminating against me due to my ethnicity. After hearing him say to verify this purchase knowing his own employee made the purchase for us, I had to make him aware of his racist behavior, I am a disabled Vet. and current law Enforcement Officer, and as soon as he became aware, he became even more disrespectful and then called the police and lied as to what happened. read more
