Terrible body repaire after I was in an accident. Staff was cordial and friendly so I'll give them that.

They picked up my vehicle via AAA. The driver was then explicitly told, and reminded several times, to bring the car to the auto shop which was covered by AAA. Instead, the driver brought my car to their own shop, and refused to bring it where it was supposed to go, Apparently this happens several times per week and they do the same thing every time. The nasty woman on the phone yelled when I told them to follow AAA's directions - I had to get someone else to tow the car from Apple to an actual reputable business. By the way, my car broke down and this all happened while driving my son home from surgery. I chose Apple after my car was hit because they were one of Geico's preferred vendors, and I am so glad that I did. My car received significant cosmetic damage to the front of it, but when I picked it up, it looked even better than it did prior to the accident. Throughout the process, Apple's communication was wonderful, as they sent me text updates letting me know the estimated date of completion, as well as the estimated charges. Not only that, but they finished the repairs almost a week ahead of the estimate. Unfortunately, I moved out of town shortly after the accident, otherwise they would be my go-to auto body from now on. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

My dad has been going here for years and used michael for auto body services, as well as other services. Yesterday, i went there for the 18 minute photo inspection due to new insurance. Probably not apple's fault or anybody's fault but according to the geico website, you needed an appointment, but meanwhile i just walked in and said what i needed, and he was able to do it right away. anyways, mike took my dads keys since if you use my keys, you might end up squished! inspection took 18 minutes, and was easy. definetely would do service with them again. read more

These people are crooks. Had a ding on the car and I let my wife go alone and they wanted to charge her 1200 to fix. Then try and say all this other work that needed to be done. My entire family and I have been going to this place for decades. I have no idea what's changed. I had them do an oil change in December. In January the check oil light came on. I took it to the Infiniti dealer and was told whomever did the last oil change didn't bother to tighten up the valve or screw the top back on. Apparently, I was hours away from all the oil dropping out of the car and needing a new engine on a one year old infiniti. Today, I went back for the state inspection. They put the sticker above the registration. I asked why it's done. They agreed it was wrong. The kicker? They admit it's their fault and tell me I will have to pay another $21 for them to give me a new sticker and put it in correctly. Never coming back. Ever. read more

During this time of COVID I got my car done for an oil change and found it surprising that ALL employees did not have masks at least. Thank goodness I was able to see that one employee that was in my car had no mask or gloves. When I went to complain to a manager there was none to be found and they were annoyed when I asked to wipe and sanitize my car and keys. Some nerve. read more

It was a very windy Saturday and I was parked at a local shopping center. I opened the driver side door and the wind whipped it open further, dinging the car parked next to me. A very small scratch resulted on their passenger side door. The poor young man was driving his girlfriend 's car. He called her and I gather she was pretty upset. My car got towed there last week.. they called me to tell me both tie rods needed to be replaced and control panel 1,100 to fix.. my father is a mechanic so he towed car out of there shop put it on a lift and nothing was wrong with either tie rod or control panel... all it was was a pin fell out.. my father put pin in and its now back to normal. So basically THEY TRIED TO ROB ME OF $1100. CROOKS! Beware.. do not ever send your daughter there because they will take full advantage!! I was shocked when my father fixed it for basically nothing after them telling me it would be $1,100. I work very hard for my money and not to mention im 6 monthes pregnant!! But they dont care and obviously have no conscious!! read more

You really want to give this place a wide berth --everything that is shady and shoddy about the auto body repair business clings to this place. I had the misfortune of having my car towed there, and with every phone call the price of the repairs went up and the date of completion went back. Four weeks later I got my car back and am I glad to have it out of the clutches of these people. Who knows what went on during those weeks? If you are a woman with an accent you want to stay away from this place. I was at Apple Body Auto for a car inspection.I was told that I need a new pair of windshield wipers. They put the wrong size on my car. I took the car back and they changed them. I don't live in NY, so my car is sitting on my driveway most of the year. When I got back to NY and started to use my car again I noticed the rubber on the wipers was loose. I didn't understand why that happened since I was not using the car at all. i went back To Apple Body this morning for a oil change and asked Fred ( the mechanic) to check the wipers again. Suddenly the manager Mike Jr. which is also the owner's son, started to yell at me in front of all the customers and told me to get out of his place of business saying that I was just trying to get a free windshield wiper. He also said that he was the boss and there was nobody to call to make a complain to. Suddenly another male worker started to yell at me also saying to me to get out of the office. I left in tears and humiliated. I never thought that I would ever be treated this way in my life. The only reason I went there was because I was previously Fred's costumer for over 20 years when he was working in another auto repair shop. I recently had a auto accident, unfortunately my car was towed here. The tow truck driver told me that they would work with me due to the fact that I didn't have collision on my car. That there was a fee of $275 for the tow and that they would look at my car the next day.. Making that Friday.. I called 3 times Friday and joe never return my calls. So natural there closed for the weekend. Monday morning I call and speak with joe and he says no he hasn't looked at it yet, but that he would today, 3 hours later no call..I call back he's just looking at it, by this time I'm a little annoying. But I'm like it's ok he's going to work with me in fixing it.. I tell him I just want the car to run.. Well he calls me 6 hours later with this off the wall amount of money, then e Mail the invoice, crazy over priced!! I call him and I'm like I can't spend more then what I paid for the car! So I'm just going to junk it he's like oh I'll call you in the morning.. Well in the morning I had 2 other people that work on cars go and look at it..they we're ripping me off.. Charging me off the wall prices. So I wanted to get my car out!! Well to get the car I had to pay over $800.00 yah they fail to tell me that there's a fee for keeping it there, with what I feel I shouldn't have to pay for there lack of fulling there end. This place is insanely expensive. They tried to charge me 1400$ for a tow that cost only 300$ at a different tow company. They then attempted to give me 200$ for a car which I later discovered was worth 1500$ with no bargaining whatsoever. read more

My car got towed to this place due to my location im guessing when I asked Mike why did they tow me all the way to Monroe and not closer to Middletown his response was where do I want them to tow me to burger King. So that was the 1st infraction the professionalism and the maturity of Mike and another associate who yelled he was the owner of the place is absurd, and If the owner of a place comes yelling from across the room to me and Mike who were having a conversation about the scratch they put on my car then they need to reevaluate their work place I wouldn't want to work for someone so immature and unprofessional its not good for business. the prices are unreasonable but I can get over paying more than what I should have to, to get my vehicle back what I cant get over is the immaturity and the rudeness if Mike, the gentleman who yelled hes the owner, and the Hispanic tow truck driver who was sitting behind the desk at that point and got offended that I said he didnt know how to use my parking brake. their response to me telling them the scratch wasn't on my car last night when he towed it was hes been towing big trucks for 10 years you think he doesn't know how to tow an audi. Just the language and the way they dealt with a customer because at the end of the day Im a customer was in a manner that I would never want another woman who goes to this place alone to experience. luckily for me i know how to verbally defend myself. this is a horrible place and they damaged my car I would advise anyone to not go to this place. read more
