Rather than replacing the entire floor, Arek tried several solvents to bring the floor back to it's original condition. He could have charged us much more by replacing the floor but he was honest with us and suggested we try the solvents. Arek and the two technicians working with him were able to restore the floor to near perfect condition! I also asked that the tub in our second bathroom be re- grouted because the grout was in bad shape and needed replacing. As with the shower floor, Arek and his technicians did a fabulous job. Arek is prompt, a good communicator, and fair in his pricing considering the amount of time he spends on the job requested. I would, without a doubt recommend Arek's company and would hire him again if need be.

We were overwhelmed by watching the home shows on TV, and my husband Anthony and I had somewhat different visions. Phil the designer came in and brought it all our wishes together into a cohesive, gorgeous vintage-meets-modern look. He gave us a computerized rendering for our approval which was helpful since its difficult to see in your head how things will look. We had a great team led by Eric who checked in nearly every day with us to make sure we were happy. Gabriel and Juan, the guys who were here for most of the project, were not only very skilled and neat, but also very sweet and a joy to have around the house. Phil was always available by text, and stopped by nearly every day to check that things were meeting his standards. Most projects we saw on tv had budget busting problems and aggravation. Ours wasn't like that because Phil was very thorough with the plan, and if any issues came up, he always had solutions we could handle. When the project was finished, we couldn't believe our eyes. It actually looked even better than the computer rendering! It was everything I asked for - modern functionality, vintage details, great quality, easy to clean, a statement of the combined personalities and visions of my husband and I. Thanksgiving came pretty soon after completion of the renovation, and we felt proud when family members were oo-ing and aah-ing as they touched the gorgeous finishes of sueded cabinets and glossy rich looking quartz, admired the top of the line appliances and sat comfortably around the island while we cooked. They restored the old floors beautifully and achieved an excellent match with the existing wood flooring. Melissa was incredibly helpful with all of the co-op paperwork, which I especially appreciated since this was my first co-op renovation. Angelo was on time for the estimate and helped me work through different options and narrow down the right LVT samples. Dave was outstanding from early talks to managing the day-to-day work - he was communicative, responsive, and always willing to answer questions. He also helped select a stain that blended beautifully with the existing floors. All of the work crews were punctual, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. The quality of the cabinets is outstanding, the plywood components being able to be disassembled when they would not fit through openings, and reassembled in-situ. Each piece was meticulously crafted, the materials used are top-notch, and the finish is flawless, adding an elegant touch to our kitchen, bathroom and bedroom-built-ins. When the original, functional hardware selected by myself for some of our most unique challenges did not perform as expected, the team at KF Kitchen Cabinets worked with me to find alternative solutions and we solved the issues together. The team at KF Kitchen Cabinets was incredibly professional and friendly throughout the entire process. They took the time to understand our vision and offered valuable suggestions to enhance the design.
