It had two at home covid tests, vitamin d tablets, magnesium tablets, chest congestion relief pills, and acetaminophen. They came in a black mailer without any papers or information inside only the meds. She never requested or ordered any of these items. We called her insurance provider which is under MEDICAL. The agent told us that they have received 3 calls today with the same issue from the same company "Apothecary Pharmacy". They transferred us to another department so we could see if they had charged her insurance for this, which they did. We asked them to reverse the charges because she never requested these med and neither did any of her doctors. The insurance agent was able to get a hold of this company "Apothecary Pharmacy" and they told the agent: They are backed up on their orders so my mom my have ordered this or opted in to receiving this kit months ago. (She didn't) The agent let us know that the company "Apothecary Pharmacy" approved that the charge be removed. Side note, it's really upsetting that random pharmacy's can charge your insurance for something you never asked for and that THEY have to be the ones to approve the reversal charge. The insurance agent was alluding to the fact that this might have happened because she received a phone call or something related and she accepted this. This couldn't have happened because my mom is not easily taken advantage of so she wouldn't have accepted anything on accident. She's actually very aware and overly worried about scams. I think this company "Apothecary Pharmacy" somehow has access to the information of Medicare patients and it's running a brushing scam. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and I suggest anyone who has gone through this do so as well. It is very important to do so, so that this issue can be taken seriously. As of now they think this is the fault of the patient for accidentally signing up for something rather than the company scamming us. When looking up this pharmacy it seems to be real and the address is correct. But it seems to be a holistic medicine pharmacy. On the website there isn't anything about a "care package" or "health kit". Nothing similar to what we received which makes the claim that we signed up for it invalid. CALL YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO REVERSE THE CHARGE. THEY ARE GETTING PAID FROM THESE KITS/THIS SCAM!!!! Finally, DO NOT take or use any of these medications and products. I don't think you should discard them either just in case you need evidence for some further litigation. I put them in a freezer bag with the packaging and labeled it so we don't use it on accident. Out of the blue we received a package from STAY WELL US/APOTHECARY PHARMACY containing covid tests. The Dear Patient letter stated the Covid tests were no cost over the counter covid tests. Previous we received a bag full of over the counter medications for my autistic son James that would have caused internal bleeding. He is a warfarin patient. When I called the phone number on the letter, I was told that my son James had signed up for and requested these random, dangerous OTC medications. James is 41. He is severely autistic. He did not call Stay Well US. He did not use Facebook or click on a Google Ad. I was informed that his insurance, Blue Shield Promise had been hacked through a backdoor in Google Analytics and his information had likely been stolen. I am my son's conservator and I do not like that OTC medications are being given out like Trick or Treat candies. I do not like "at no charge to you, we are charging your insurance for all this free stuff you didn't order". If STAY WELL US and APOTHECARY PHARMACY are illegally signing people up and billing insurance on a large scale, this could be a massive fraud case that could drive up all our insurance costs. Total scam. Can never get a hold of anyone left multiple voicemails and emails. They sent my special needs brother 4 boxes of nicotine gum, acetaminophen and 5 COVID tests. There is no way my brother would have ordered nor have been prescribed these. He doesn't even smoke. The phone numbers don't match the website. The pharmacy license number is incomplete. After doing a little research seems like the pharmacist had his license suspended for 5 years before back in 2020 for same fraudulent orders of medication. he petitioned to get his license renewed back in 2023 and they granted it back saying he was remorseful and paid restitution and was gonna do better. Ron has left The Apothecarey. New ownership has taken over. While they are okay I miss the friendly person service Ron provided. He always had a smile on his face. The women who now run the place are very efficient but not the most friendly. Also they need to update their operating hours. It's says they open at 9:00 am but once you get here it opens at 9:30. While I will continue to get my prescriptions filled here it is not the same since Ron left. read more

Whatever, I finally signed up for the rewards program. Once you've spent $300 (And it's easy to do here due to the high quality products and isn't your health worth it?), there's a $15 reward towards purchase. Value like that made sense to me coupled with the knowledgeable, kind customer care both my hubby and I have experienced at Apothecary Pharmacy. P.S.
