I was really is disbelief when I walked through the establishment.  There as outdoor/indoor space for hookah was on the first floor. The upper level is where I spent the majority of the time. The bar was slow but that how it in a night club most times. The drinks were delicious. All the staff were friendly. There were multiple places throughout the establishment which were set up with a back drop to snap pictures.  The vibe on the top floor blew my mind. I never imaged there would be a place like this is Bergenfield. There were dancers on stilts, confetti, smoke machines, and a screen to watch the dj. I enjoyed myself.

We had ordered Guacamole which tasted kind of bland and was just average. Drinks were pretty good though. My main issue was how they have setup their Hookah. Very limited Flavors to begin with and except for one, all other flavors were not so great. On top of that, they charge $10 extra to replace the Coals. $10 for COALS..?!?!? I have been to so many Hookah Lounges and this was the 1st we were ever charged for getting the coals changed. That is just atrocious. Switching the complete bowl with new flavor was $20, so obviously we ended up opting for that eventhough the 1st bowl/flavour was still good and just needed new coals.

They stamp you so that way you can come and go freely. (Smoking outside only) If you get a ticket in advance a lot of times the tickets will allow for free entry before a certain time. Just make sure to get stamped if you're waiting for friends just head in get stamped and then leave so that way you don't have to wind up paying. I will say the drinks are pricey, however. I got four shots and it came out to about 60 bucks total. I also got a shot from the woman walking around with the tubes. Normally those are flavored, here it was not and it was $10. So I wanna say a shot itself averages between 10 and 15. The music varied. I will say that. There's two different rooms so we did not have access to one of the rooms but that room had cars with blasting speakers playing solo Reggaeton music. I think it was Spanish night in general because most of the music played in the main area was Hispanic as well. Though I will say there were a couple random oldies as well as Soca music thrown in. The main dance floor is uncovered pool and it makes me wonder if the place used to be a swimming area or if that's just part of the aesthetic. Overall, it was a good time. I'd like to come on a night in which it's not themed to potentially and maybe cheaper drinks would be better. If you want hookah, it's like 60 bucks too, and I know some that might not seem too expensive, but as someone who lives in Brooklyn. If it cost more than I would do in Manhattan, in a place like jersey, to me it's like wow.

A mixture of either old, sketchy, no sex appeal and rough around the edges. The dance floor was packed and the music was on point. There was some people that set up food in the back but it left a trail of an odor that was not appetizing. Drinks were ok at best but when I asked for a cup with ice it seemed to be an issue. Very off putting. Not quite sure what the issue was.... The bartender brought the manager over and I had to specify I wanted it for my beer. Yes, I'm a weirdo if I don't get a frosted glass, I'll take a cup with ice. The manager proceeds to ask me ; "So you want me to pour the beer into the cup with ice?" UMMM yes I don't mind pouring it my damn self but if it makes you more comfortable, knock yourself out. It truly didn't make a difference to me who poured it, I just wanted some damn ice to cool myself off! I'm not sure what type of sketchy and shady people they deal with but I am not the one. My boyfriend and I run a good tab on drinks, give me what I'm asking for and paying for! Meanwhile, I did not see just about any of the 30-40 people on the dance floor buy a drink. I then saw hookah's on a table and the price list. Unfortunately, they were not providing hookah service that night. So why have them out? Whewwww I love my house music community and love the Lincoln Park festival that is close to the bar but this past Sunday this bar and crowd missed the mark. The only redeeming factor was the DJ. I highly doubt I'd return unless it were to vibe out and dance to a DJ I reaaaaallly love.

So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. Once we figured that out, she got us some food to go and we ate here at home. Verdict: -excellent seating options - stools, couches, chairs -food is so so good. Tartare, truffle fries. You do get a free cigar (which is actually a pretty nice, brand name stick in most cases) with your meal, which I am sure goes with the cost. Before the world went utterly insane with inflation ... It used to be one of the best deals ever. The food was $12.95 plus the free cigar! Now, it's more like $23 per sandwich. Owch. The best value was the cheese plate, which at $15 was huge and included fruit. Now, that cheese platter is actually smaller than it used to be and costs $44! The decor is pretty cool ... dark and moody ... but there are a couple TVs with sports playing and high ceilings. The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. Imagine what a guy would look like that would want to smoke a cigar while eating and that's exactly what you will find here as a customer. Fake Sopramos accent ... beefy ... loud ... gold chain ... It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu. The drinks are pricey, so a sandwich, a beer ... and I guess you could count the free cigar ... come to around $40, after tip.

I love to see the American flag outside before walking up the stairs and just all the details of the decor and the warm and professional staff to welcome you is very special. The presentation is also very special. I went to a rehearsal dinner for our friends wedding on Friday, July 24, 2026. I do wish we knew the name of the waitress the evening of the rehearsal dinner because she was so calm, caring, efficient. The wooden decor here is so cozy and the food was made very well and it was fresh. During this particular visit, I enjoyed the salmon and others really raved about the beef dish they ordered. We loved it so much we went back after the rehearsal dinner for another evening. I can now proudly say that I know what it is like to dine here for a special occasion and for a date night. My favorite so far is the clam chowder. It is so delicious and one of the best I have had in a long time. The lobster rolls are very beautiful as well - lobster cooked perfectly and a great amount of seasoning for the fries and the lobster roll. One suggestion I would have is to have the lobster roll to be served with a tiny side salad with the french fries. I feel this would elevate the experience. They have an extensive drink menu and some beautiful craft cocktails. During the event, I was able to see all the different craft cocktails they ordered and they appeared to be exquisite. I enjoyed a nice glass of white wine and felt this paired with my dinner well. The banana bread is also very delicious and served with a lovely custard (I am not usually a fan of all custards). The banana bread, custard and vanilla ice cream was definitely a must try. If you go to Tabor Tavern, ask for Rolyn! Pure hospitality, wonderful energy, and took such good care of us. He kept checking in and provided a five star service but also feeling like a cozy family member checking in on you - quietly and calmly. Thank you so much.
