Attached to the enormous J&R Cigar shop, this is a great place to stop after shopping to grab a sandwich and enjoy a nice smoke. Being one of the few places in NJ that lets you smoke a cigar, eat, and drink a beer all in one room makes this special to begin with. The food was pretty decent, having tried two different sandwiches now I can safely say it's worth the value. Pricing isn't ridiculous. The best part? You get a fairly decent (~$6) cigar for free with your lunch. Next time I go to J&R to restock, I definitely intend to stop by and grab some lunch from this place afterwards.

If you know what's what, you know this bad is the shit.

We get booked all the time on behalf of Mike (who's awesome btw). The staff is courteous and absolutely amazing! The space is two floors a large dance floor and multiple rooms to set up your party, 2 bathrooms, and a VIP riser. This past weekend we did a surprise birthday, complete with open photobooth. Two weeks prior we had done a huge Halloween party (150+) people---the venue set up space for a fortune teller, face painter, large buffet, glow-in-the dark t-shirt section all at request of the client. So if you're looking for a great venue to throw your next party, bridal brunch, anniversary, or just a night out with a few hundred of your closest friends please go check this place out! Thanks Mike your the best!

The rooms were so cold that my guests had to wear their jackets the entire time. Their solution was to use several small space heaters throughout which didn't do anything to warm up the rooms and only managed to continuously trip the circuits and shut out the lights. Also, do not use their in house catering. I wish I knew the name of the caterer they used because they would deserve a review of their own. The penne vodka was so spiciy you could not eat it. Normally the pasta would be one of the first things to go so you know it was really bad - it was barely touched. How do you screw up the pasta? Thankfully I had ordered a couple of extra trays of food because there would not have been enough food otherwise. Not sure how they calculate their food portions or maybe Mike just needs to review my food order with the caterer to see what was ordered vs what was delivered. Because definitely something is off. No complaints about the staff. They just couldn't overcompensate for the bad experience.

They keep a good mix of 80s, 90s, new, sing alongs, etc. The security guys were nice. Bar didn't take too long, definitely a wait but I've had way worse. Bathroom was a little gamey but it was later in the night and the St. Patty's day crowd was out so I'm sure it's usually much nicer. Definitely give this place a shot. So fun!

From the moment we arrived, the entrance was a standout disguised as a regular laundromat with a bouncer outside. The door itself was cleverly hidden, blending in as a regular washing machine, and if you weren't in the know, you'd probably miss it entirely. Once inside, we descended into a spacious area with two bar stations and a stage set up for live music, which gave the place an exciting, eclectic vibe. Since it was our first time, we asked for the cocktail menu and were fortunate to have Dan as our bartender, easily one of the best bartenders I've ever encountered. His drink-making skills were on another level, and we immediately struck up a great conversation. Dan started us off with some unique choices from the menu. I tried the Smoked Apple Fashion, which was incredibly smooth with a crisp apple flavor and a subtle smoky finish. It was so easy to drink almost too easy! My girlfriend ordered the Gangnam Style, which was visually stunning with boba pearls, though not very strong if you're after a more potent drink. Next, I had the Cider House Mule, and it was hands-down the best mule I've ever tasted. They swapped out the typical vodka for spiced rum, and it was a game changer bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. This is when things started to get really fun. Dan, seeing that we were enjoying ourselves, began crafting custom drinks for us, starting with Dan's Malibu Special for my girlfriend. She loves Malibu, and this drink was fruity, smooth, and delicious. It was so good, I had to order one for myself. Dan recommended adding a shot of tequila to give it a bit more kick, and he wasn't wrong this was next-level good. Honestly, Dan's Malibu Special needs to be a permanent item on their menu. It's that good and would definitely be a hit. Dan then served up a Peanut Noir Old Fashioned. I know I know, peanut in a cocktail sounds odd, but it was incredible! I was blown away by how well the peanut flavor worked in an Old Fashioned. It was one of those drinks that make you question why you haven't had something like it before. Dan mentioned that unlike many places that use store bought ingredients, they make a lot of their mixers and components from scratch. For instance, their ginger root is muddled fresh for mules rather than relying on ginger beer, which really makes a difference in flavor and freshness. Following that, I tried a Chocolate Old Fashioned, which, while still very smooth, was probably the weakest of the Old Fashioneds I had that night, but it still went down easy. By this point, I was starting to feel the effects of all these fantastic cocktails, especially since I hadn't eaten all day! I ended my night with a Summer Old Fashioned, garnished with either rosemary or thyme (I can never tell the difference). It had that signature smoothness Dan brought to all his Old Fashioneds and was a perfect end to the night. The ambiance of The Laundromat was fantastic. It had a lively yet relaxed feel, with a mixed crowd of both older and younger patrons. Sports were playing on the TVs, and you could tell the energy would pick up even more when the live music kicked off around 7:30. Unfortunately, we had to leave before that to grab some food (after all that drinking, I needed something in my stomach!). Thankfully, I had the foresight to take a Lyft to The Laundromat, easily the best decision of the night. Overall, The Laundromat is an absolute gem. The drinks were some of the best I've ever had, the conversation with Dan was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for a fun, laid-back night out. I'll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable cocktail experience.

There are very few places left in the world where you can smoke cigars indoors while eating lunch…read more The food here is very mediocre ... and expensive! You do get a free cigar (which is actually a pretty nice, brand name stick in most cases) with your meal, which I am sure goes with the cost. Before the world went utterly insane with inflation ... It used to be one of the best deals ever. The food was $12.95 plus the free cigar! Now, it's more like $23 per sandwich. Owch. The best value was the cheese plate, which at $15 was huge and included fruit. Now, that cheese platter is actually smaller than it used to be and costs $44! The decor is pretty cool ... dark and moody ... but there are a couple TVs with sports playing and high ceilings. The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. Imagine what a guy would look like that would want to smoke a cigar while eating and that's exactly what you will find here as a customer. Fake Sopramos accent ... beefy ... loud ... gold chain ... It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu. The drinks are pricey, so a sandwich, a beer ... and I guess you could count the free cigar ... come to around $40, after tip.

An appetizer order comes with three small slider style rolls. For mains we shared the chicken parm and veggie ravioli. The chicken parm was an absolute show stopper. They do that thing where they come to the table with a hot pan of cheesy sauce and pour it over the cutlet. It tasted even better than it looked, and I love that this came paired with paccheri pasta. The spring ravioli is a nice and light dish and came with lots of fresh veggies. Love the vibes on the patio and an aperol spritz was the perfect drink to enjoy outside on a nice day.
