    Debra's Honeycup Chicken Sandwich

Service was good, loved seeing all the frogs everywhere. We got the hot dogs, which were just okay. We also got the Debra's Honeycup Chicken Sandwich, which was SO good! The Honeycup mustard was very flavorful and brought the whole sandwich together.

They should call it the Faded Frog. Never a white tablecloth dining spot, the Famished Frog was always a solid go to whenever you were in Morristown. Maybe it is the effects of the Pandemic or just losing your edge after 20 years, but the food is just ok and the drinks are nothing special. There are clearly much better options in town.

My Dad, my son and I came to the Famished Frog for my son's seventh birthday, and we had such a great time! It's very spacious, with a a big bar area, and other rooms for sitting and dining with family and friends. The food was awesome. I highly recommend the cheeseburger, and my son loved the pizza so much, he ordered two! The prices are very reasonable, and the staff, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend the Famished Frog!

Had a really great experience today here ! I absolutely loved the decor - it was so cute and fun !! I am gluten free and they had many options to choose from ! I had a really great burger with one of the best gluten free buns I've ever had. Spinach and artichoke dip (corn chips so Gf) was also great ! I enjoyed my margarita. My friend had a salad that was a generous portion size and very good ! Def recommend

    Classic burger with fries

Great little place to stop by for a tasty dinner. The salad ingredients were fresh and the classic burger had a great charbroiled flavor.

Have eaten here a few times over the past few years, most recently in January of 2023. We've been very satisfied each time. My most recent meal was just an appetizer, the seared tuna with some noodles, and it was excellent. All five of us were happy with our food, the service, and the prices.

Our group of 3 got one of the many tables outside and ordered a table full of tasty bites. First up was the hummus & crudite platter and it honestly was as tasty as it was beautiful. As much as I love hummus, I usually avoid getting it because I don't want to fill up on pita. Luckily, this (giant) tray was filled with bell peppers, snap peas, radishes, colorful carrots. Everything was fresh and delicious. 100% recommend. For entrees, I shared the chicken Ceasar wrap with a friend and it was great. Lots of chicken, not an overwhelming amount of dressing. It came with crispy fries. Loved it and so perfect for a hot day. Will absolutely need to remember this spot the next time I am in Morristown!

An appetizer order comes with three small slider style rolls. For mains we shared the chicken parm and veggie ravioli. The chicken parm was an absolute show stopper. They do that thing where they come to the table with a hot pan of cheesy sauce and pour it over the cutlet. It tasted even better than it looked, and I love that this came paired with paccheri pasta. The spring ravioli is a nice and light dish and came with lots of fresh veggies. Love the vibes on the patio and an aperol spritz was the perfect drink to enjoy outside on a nice day. Shoutout to Daniel who is the best server ever and was so nice to bring us out a little treat for my hubs birthday. I'm never disappointed here!

He warmly welcomed this weary traveler on frosty foot by inviting me to sit wherever I'd like. He then attended to me by walking the football field (or pitch) length of the bar to take and bring my orders with nary a complaint or grimace. And the shepard's pie was the best I've ever had in my life INCLUDING IN IRELAND (coming close the edging out one I had in Kilkenny!) The French Onion soup had a veritable salad of liquid cheese solidified into gullet-cramming ecstasy with the soup itself reminding me of my first such onion soup in Montmartre at Mere Catherine in Paris as a tot - an eatery that is there to this day. And don't tell my new trainer at the gym I INHALED THE SAVORY CHEESE CAKE WITH A GIANT TWO DOLLOPS OF WHIPPED CREAM! And though I'd just told my gastroenterologist in town I don't drink - and Hand to God I don't, I asked which of the Blessed Bushmills they had and Paul recited the trilogy of Regular and Black and Honey! So what's like sure to be my one Bushmills of 2026 glazed and soothed by Arctic Throat with the delicacy of the world's oldest drilled whisky - years ago I visited the distillery in Northern Ireland where it's said while the whisky cures in casks, that which evaporates is the Angel's Share. So this true Irish jewel - not far from the Green where men and women were hung for crimes but now just hang out in warmer times, is here with its doors and arms often. If St. Paul's for soul salvage, this Paul was for good spirits' salvage. THANK YOU!

I have been told that they have good prime rib and that will be the next thing I try. The service downstairs is much better than the service upstairs, which typically leaves much to be desired, but the Hispanic server was much better than the older white man.

Hardly anyone there so the bartender comes over to take the order despite a bunch of employees standing around and chatting. I would rather have a dedicated waiter / waitress. I see another group of employees all seated at a booth all talking. Makes no sense. We ordered but the Apps and the main course came out all at once before we even got our drinks. Not a big deal. One of my kids wanted some salt for her mac & cheese. Bartender never came back to ask how everything came out. Multiple people loafing around and waking past but I couldn't get anyone's attention for the salt. I asked someone who said we aren't his table and kept walking. I saw this guy up by the bar - collared shirt - looked like a manager. I waved at him and he looked at me and just shook his head and went back to talking to some other bar back.    I was beyond pissed and finally the older manager lady happened to walk by. I said who is that guy in the collared shirt - oh he works here but hasn't started his shift yet. Yea well I just wanted the salt shaker if he bothered to take 2 seconds and see. Or he could have gotten someone else's attention but he didn't, he just blew me off. But the Manager made no attempt to really apologize or ask what she could do. Then our drinks are empty for awhile- none came by to see if we wanted another round. Eventually I'm waving at the bartender who finally comes over and I ask for a 2nd round. Then he forgets about making them and spends 15 mins talking with other employees and doing whatever before I wave at him again. He gives me the nod and The drinks finally come but no limes like the previous round. Honestly I was done - might have stayed longer but with our kids it was time to go. Finally I've included a photo of our view of these diligent employees that are obviously too busy to worry about service or the perception of how things look from a customers point of view. The food wasn't bad but honestly the experience wasn't great. We won't be back.
