I drive a modified 1997 Honda Accord CE1 Wagon. Most places in Temecula don't specialize in older hondas, but Apocalypse does. So I went there and the Apocalypse team was able to get me in an out in less than an hour. I needed help with my rear passenger brake line as it was leaking and the bolts were rusted. They are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the rates they charge is very fair. I had my own brake line to replace the rusted one with and it was no issue. They swapped it out, bled the lines, and my car was good to go. I've been back several times before. And Apocalypse will continue to be my go-to place for my 1997 Honda Accord wagon. read more

This place really goes above and beyond. They were delayed due to a customers car having an issue on the dyno. The owner of apocalypse took me out and bought me lunch while we waited for my turn to get on the dyno. My car started having its own issues once on the dyno and Henry didn't hesitate to fix what was wrong. We ended up being there over an hour once the shop closed and they were still fixing issues and making sure the tune was perfect. My car runs 110% better and hauls ass thanks to these guys. The owner quoted me $1800 for a stock (StaGe 1) dyno tune. Also said there was only one tuning device for my 20' 86/brz, and of course it was the expensive one(ecuteck). And then he quoted me $850 if I brought my own tune device LMFAO. Do yourself a favor and get a $500 oft 2.0 device and install a professionally made preset tune at no extra cost(provided you have access to a windows PC/laptop). And if you can't feel the performance then what's the point of a Dyno right? The only reason this shop is so busy is because this is a rich kid neighborhood and they don't care that they're paying way too much for a simple job. If you do choose to get a Dyno to see computational proof of better/worse performance, I'd recommend going somewhere else... read more

Took my STI in with a spun rod bearing and less that 12 hours after it happened it was in his shop and getting torn down. The whole process was very transparent and easy. When I got the car back it ran better than before. He also found several problems with my car left from the previous owner and he took care of them immediately. NO STARS. This place is very unprofessional. They ripped me off. I am a female, not sure if that had anything to do with it, I feel it did. They had my car for 3 months charged me $3800 to get my Lexus is300 tuned and timed and fix my turbo issues I was having. Once I picked up my car the owner wasn't there and I didn't receive the paperwork from any work done ie. dyno, the stand alone, ecu, etc. all together my experience with this place was horrible, never will go back in fact I wish I could get my money back for the "Mickey mouse" job done on my car. I have even thought of SUING them! That serious, I'm sure people work hard for their money, as do I. Also being a veteran I'm not use to such unprofessionalism and schemes or scam artist. Do not take your car here, females especially, they talk a good talk but the work and how your car will not run speaks for itself. Do not give this business your money. When I first came here with my 2011 Honda CR-Z, I was in a tight place. Honda wanted $1500+ to fix my clutch, which was completely out of commission. Nolving said he could do a clutch alone for 800+ which sounded too good to be true. When they started the work, they found that the entire clutch assembly, flywheel, and pretty much anything left of the transmission was in shambles. All in all it came out to about $1200. Not bad for the amount of work done. Unfortunately I had to ask them to hold the car for almost a full month past the work being done, which they had to charge me for storage on. Understandable, still upsetting. The total price came to $1400 and I went home with a working car. The 4 stars are because everything was great except for one thing. They didn't call me to confirm the work, so until it was all done, I thought I was still paying the original price for the clutch. Next time they should call to confirm the work, that's all. I wasn't about to throw a fit over it since I didn't even have the money for the original price and they were going to store it for me for free for a week or so. So in the end, I'm a happy customer with a working car, they did a good job and were nice about the entire situation. I will come back to them if I have anymore issues that Honda tries to charge out the ass for. read more

My Integra GSR was running very rough so I shopped around for an engine build and the team at Apocalypse was the cheapest price that I found from San Diego to the Inland Empire. I talked to Nolving about what I wanted done and he said I can do what ever I want to the car for the same price since everything would be taken apart; so I had the whole drivetrain rebuilt or replaced. I dropped the car off early in the morning so they could start working on it and by noon I stopped by again to drop off a set of cam shafts and they already had the engine and tranny pulled. The turn around time was very impressive and my car ran amazing! I highly recommend these guys with knowledge, price, and expedited service. read more

I must say car trouble SUCKS!!! Have a 2006 Honda Civic with 130k miles. Car all of a sudden stopped turning on and would not turn back on for anything!!! Called the dealership they said my keys needs to be reprogrammed and would be $250 tops. However I towed my car there and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Finally three weeks later got a call from the dealership and they said my main pc shorted out in the car and now it would cost close to $2500.00 to fix and replace. (Jaw dropped and hit the floor) I had originally posted on temecula talk about the reprogramming issue and Orlando replied that he could look into it, but I didn't take him up on his offer originally :(. Anyway,back to my quote from the dealership, after I picked my jaw up from the floor I remembered Orlandos message on Facebook and called him in a panic. Luckily he was willing to see me that same night and said that the Honda dealer quote was bogus and too much. He said he would be willing to repair the car for much less than that. He kept my car an additional 4 weeks, I know kind of long! But was able to fix my car, stay within a price range I could afford and all is good with the world again. Honestly this guy went above and beyond to help me out. His final charges didn't even come close to the bogus one from the dealership! I appreciate it and so do my kids. They were tired of walking everywhere lol. read more
