Sending along a 2021 Christmas appreciation note to Em and the folks at TruMotive. We own a 2013 Acura TL, which requires a Timing Belt (TB) replacement every 8 years or 105,000 miles and it was time for this major service. I called Em to request a quote and talk through the details, I'm particular about my vehicles. I asked for the TB, Water Pump, T-Stat, Spark Plugs and Valve Cover and Spark Plug tube gaskets to be replaced. Em was able to source all OEM parts for me as I had requested and schedule the work. During our initial phone conversation he recommended the valves in this motor be adjusted at this mileage, which I completely forgot about. Thank you, Em. In terms of cost, a job like this is extensive and requires a great deal of mechanical knowledge and experience. I'd consider TruMotive to be a real value related to labor pricing. It is easy to find mechanics, but challenging to find knowledgeable technicians that model integrity in their work and in my case, know Acura products well. Furthermore, 15 minutes after I left the shop, Em called to share some additional insight that we didn't discuss, which I value. He and his team care and this small but talented squad gets the importance of world class work and service. On the day of install, Em and Team were courteous and professional, the installation bay is clean and organized and the waiting room is as well. I lowered my car and got an alignment here and they were very quick in scheduling me and the work was fast and great! The price was excellent matching the quality of work you would expect. The alignment wasn't perfect at first, which I did not expect it to be usually it needs to be dialed in. Their warranty policy only lets them take walk ins the following day and I wasn't able to come by immediately but they were able to work with me a couple days after and dial it in! We found our Honda doctor!! I wish I'd have known about this place a long time ago bc we have been looking for someone to take care of our cars. My hubby brought his baby here for a new transmission.
