TLDR: do not hire for anything other than spot repairs for leaking roofs…read more So we hired this company to repair a leak coming down in our garage. Sales person came out for review to make an assessment on what would be involved. In the conversation they offered to clean the roof, I told them there's a lot of moss up there and they said they could easily do that. Oh they cleaned something, just not the whole roof. They got the entire north side of my house covered in caked on globs of dirt. This included everything around there like my A/C exterior fan unit, my trash bins, my shed, my storage lockers and my deck boxes. They left a hose, my hose, on the roof and running all night long until my wife spotted it the next morning. My front hose was also used, I know this because instant of rolling it back up using the roll they just left it all piled up at the corner of my house. Now told them about this, and the person who responds just always says they'll get in touch with their "experts" and let me know. Eventually they came back to finish cleaning the roof and clean up the mess on the side of the house. They came and went then I got home and checked, looked like they took about two seconds to clean some of the side but ran off to their next project. It was in no way clean or even in the condition it was in prior to their work. As for the roof being cleaned and moss control applied, I can't get all the way up on the 2nd floor roof to know but my HVAC company came out to do some other work related to "Smokey cedar smell in air ducts, & they climbed up to the 2x!: floor and took photos. There was no moss control applied on the 2nd floor roof and miss was growing everywhere on the west back side, yes this was the very next day after M&H came. Cleaning and moss control were services we agreed M&H would do.m, but they clearly didn't yet still charged me for it. Oh and that donkey cedar smell? Sawdust in the HVAC exhaust line from roof & vent repairs. So basically the roofing company offered a series of services they never fully executed. I had to hire a different company to complete the gutter work and re-clean the lower & upper roofs and apply moss control up on the 2nd roof. Then I had to clean out my HVAC vents, and I had to wash and scrub the exterior of my house. How are they still in business is beyond me.

I should have discontinued my engagement with this company with the AI encounter, because the estimator's visit was a painful waste of time. I have never encountered the level of hard selling I experienced with this visit from any other contractor. It was hard to believe much of what the estimator was saying amidst the constant pressure to get me to sign a contract. Speaking of signing a contract, they offered a significant discount for those who sign up on the spot. In one respect, I understand their desire to get a quick deal, since their estimate was much higher than all of the others and would not survive any form of reasoned analysis.

So if you're looking to spend over $30,000 this is one choice, they do a great job with reviewing your roof needs.
