Highly recommend Apache Asphalt & Seal for your next asphalt job. They did our easement driveway for 4 homes in Oceanside in late July, 2026. We had 3 other companies bid and Apache was the clear winner. The were very clear about what they were going to do and how, their proposed approach to seal a variety of deep cracks was the best, and there pricing was appropriate. Some bidders were less expensive but we did not have faith we would be happy with the quality. Jordan was terrific to work with and very responsive. The people on his team were all great and professional and helpful. The job quality and materials used were fantastic. Highly recommended. read more

We are so happy with Apache Asphalt, and are very thankful for finding this excellent company on Yelp. First of all, our estimator showed up exactly on time. Their estimate was very competitive compared to the other estimates that we received. Their service was incredible. They showed up to do the work, again - on time, and with a large enough crew to finish the job within the promised timeline. Basically, we had an existing asphalt driveway with many large cracks and other issues. When they were done, our driveway looked like brand new. We are more than 100% satisfied and highly recommend this company, especially with some of the other less than credible companies out there. read more

Hired them to redo my driveway. Referred by my neighbors however, they do not know how to do grade (slope). Wanted me to hide my crooked curbs with landscape rather than correcting them. Sent a complaint with the registrar of contractors with no help Thank you California! Had to hire another contractor to fix Apache Ashalt's mess Another $5000.00 Stay away from these people!! read more

I highly recommend Apache Asphalt based on their work on my 50yr old home driveway in hilly Vista. About 4 years ago, I had them repair a very damaged section which has held up great since. This week they've done a replacement of the parking area and part of the hill driveway, which involved removing a lot of ancient asphalt with tricky street access. Jordan, his dad and their team communicate well and have been a pleasure to work with. On both projects, it's clear they know their equipment, plan well, and bring enough people to get the job done within time and cost estimates. read more

Apache Asphalt came through for us when no other companies would. We have a very steep hill and other companies didn't want to bother with a complex or complicated job. Jordan came to look at the project and said "no problem, we can take care of you". And, that they did. The crew completed the job in the timeframe that was communicated and the guys were friendly and professional. Jordan was highly responsive throughout the entire project. He showed up each day to make sure the crew knew what to do and to communicate with us. I highly recommend Jordan and Apache Asphalt, no matter how big or small (or complicated) your project is! read more

POSITIVE UPDATE ON THE REVIEW POSTED ON 12/21/2020. Apache followed through, and did EVERYTHING they could to satisfy our complaints about the driveway sealing for our duplex. Thank You ! It's very encouraging to work with a Company that so values customer satisfaction. Please Disregard The Previous Negative Review read more

We like Apache Asphalt because they're a family. They have every tool in their trade and they show up with them on their truck. They've installed a driveway and stack-brick retaining wall, creating a huge parking area that wasn't flat enough to do so previously and added value to our property. It's an ASPHALT JUNGLE out there. My neighbors, every single one, has had their driveways done by a "drive-by" cold-call outfit with a drum of slurry on their truck. Everyone of them had to have that same company come back and spread sand over their new slurry-seal because it was too rough a surface. Why create problem that needs correcting? Let Apache do it right the first time. Hey! They look like a group Convicts, but they're Quiet Installers, and Really Nice People. You won't be disappointed. If their was an option, I'd share photos of today's finished work. Happy Jack about it. :) read more

Awesome in every way! They resurfaced a 35 to 40 year old driveway and made it new. Excellent workmanship, great crew, absolutely no cutting corners. Jordan only does his job in one way...perfection! Thank you so much! Highly recommended!!! read more

Not recommended. We got a proposal for them to perform asphalt seal, replace some asphalt with concrete V-gutter and a drain in a separate area. They showed up twice to start work before we gave them approval. After we signed a contract and put a PO together, they said they would not be able to do the concrete work so we told them we would find someone else. They said a few days later that they could do the concrete work but needed to change the price (they were the middle price been three proposals). They gave us a new proposal and we signed a new contract. While doing the work, they decided not to do the concrete V-gutter and did not tell us. The drain they installed was too high and caused a puddle. The second area was not touched. It was rough asphalt. We had to hold their payment ransom to get them to go out and repair the concrete work at the drain which they ground to create the fall needed to drain. They came back and put a skin patch over it instead of the concrete we asked for. It is smooth but will have to be replaced in the future. read more

Nice Asphalt Job Apache! Jordan at Apache was quick to respond and present his bid. We were pleased with the overall job. We had a little glitch, however, Stewart and his crew took immediate care of the work on our easement. We will recommend them in the future. read more

We just had our driveway repaved, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. It was not an easy job, because the main waterline into our house was buried immediately under the existing pavement. Jordan from Apache made a special trip out to talk with me about this, and on the day of the job he was there working with the people to make sure they understood how careful they needed to be in this area. The guy driving the Bobcat was amazing! He could move the shovel in fractions of an inch, and was very careful around this pipe. As a result, there was no problem and the job was successfully completed. One minor problem occurred when a truck backed over a small retaining wall on my neighbor's property. Robert, the job foreman, looked at it, took some pictures, and said they'd take care of fixing it. There was no attempt to try and claim it was existing, blame someone else, etc. He said they'd take care of fixing it, and a few days later they sent someone out and the damaged was repaired. These are signs of a well-run company. I'm happy I used Apache and I highly recommend them. read more

Stewart and his team at Apache Asphalt are incredible. After receiving several bids for asphalt work on a rather large project, we made an easy decision to hire Apache for the job. They were professional, prompt, reliable, knowledgable, quick and reasonably priced. We will confidently recommend Stewart and his team at Apache Asphalt to any clients or friends with asphalt needs in the future! read more

I have a lengthy drive on 5 acres in Vista. I have relied upon Apache Asphalt & Seal to do repairs, extensions, berms and seal coating at different times, spanning sixteen years. Apache and crew arrive on time and produce quality results. The owner, Stewart, is pleasant to work with and has advised me on how to arrive at creative and cost efficient solutions. read more

Workers showed up right on time and did a neat, professional job. Top coat is thicker than many other pavers, and patching and edging is precise and looks very nice. The workers are pleasant and friendly, but their focus is on the job. Highly recommended! read more

I just used Apache for the first time. They showed up early in the day and had whet I thought would be a difficult job completed by early afternoon. Very professional, neat, and skillful. I loved the work, and their price was very fair. I recommend them highly! read more

They did a great job repairing and sealing our asphalt driveway in Cardiff. They removed 3 large sections of asphalt, dug out the tree roots underneath and replaced these areas with 4" of new blacktop. They then filled the cracks and seal coated the whole drive a few weeks later. They were very professional arriving just when they said, working hard and doing a fine job. Our street is very tight for parking and not wide. They put out pylons, parked their vehicles down the street so as not to block traffic and had minimal impact on the neighborhood. The work they did was first class and I would recommend this company again. They have been in business a long time and the estimator is the founders son. The estimate was very competitive, fast and the final cost just as they said. read more

I called a couple of asphalt companies to grade a long driveway before I got to Apache. The others didn't respond to my inquiries, and now I am glad they didn't. Jordan at Apache responded promptly, was professional, and gave me a fair and competitive quote. The work done on time, as promised, and is of the highest quality. It really was a pleasure to work with these folks. read more

Stewart and his company did a very large 45,000 sq. slurry seal for a non profit veteran rc flying field. They use the BEST sealant you can buy and they applied it very generously. Most places put down black water that lasts a year at best. They did all they said they would do and more!!! They even came back after the job was done to fix some small spots. They are 100% integrity! I would use and recommend them any time! Thank you so much!!! read more

My driveway looks great. I recommend Apache 100%! They're professional, informative, and my bill was low. I highly recommend their services.

Finding a company that keeps its word seems to be harder than it should be, but Apache Asphalt & Seal could write the book on keeping their word and doing a spectacular job. We contracted with them to do a relatively small asphalt curb replacement. The first work was done just before Christmas 2017 and was not what we expected. They came right out and agreed to redo the work in a professional and timely manner. We highly recommend Apache Asphalt and plan to use them again for our private street maintenance. read more
