Store Manager was on the telephone and speaking to a customer. Very polite on the phone. He hung up and I explained my situation. Tristan got me in immediately and the rubber seal around the windshield was repaired. Free of charge. I also used their bathroom. I have to say, for a auto repair place; the bathroom was very clean. Everyone was very polite and professional. I'll come back for future windshield repairs. Thank you!

Only a few days after that, while driving on the freeway, the entire piece flew off. A side molding strip also started bending the wrong way. A technician came to my house to try again and was completely stumped. He openly admitted that even their quality control manager didn't know how to fix it properly. They then asked us to bring the vehicle to their shop for a better look. Once my wife arrived, they suddenly decided the warranty no longer applied because of a rock chip (whose timing is unclear) and refused to cover the work. We were left driving without any molding strip at the top of the windshield -- a clear safety and quality failure after they already admitted they didn't know what they were doing. They won't spend the money to replace a roughly $100 molding piece, yet they expect customers to trust them with a critical safety component of the vehicle. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of local shops that do better work, stand behind their repairs, and cost less. This experience showed a complete lack of accountability and competence not to mention they're a United Kingdom based company. Save your money and support a local company that actually knows how to do the job, will fix their mistakes, and your money stays here in the community.

The technician came out about 8:20 am and I had shown him both spots I wanted to fix within my windshield he said for the first one he couldn't do it, and that it's not worth fixing because it's so small. I let him know that as long as it gets me through the rest of the year I'll be fine and he said it's not guaranteed that it will last and that it could spread even with the epoxy. (which Is understandable) but he even mentioned to me that some clients windows don't even last after the service is finished. I just said whatever that's fine I just let him do his job. He calls me about 20 minutes later and tells me that it's done and that he did the best he could In regards to making it look not as visible. ( it wasn't a horrible crack to begin with) so I figured I let it slide no issue until I actually got in my car and seen after he left, the epoxy is completely cloudy and it made the damage. I understand that obviously it's not going to be perfect. It's just something to hold me over until I have the ability to replace an entire windshield, they only issue is is that I gave them something so minimal to fix and it was made worse, I see people with absolutely no experience by kit to repair their windows and do better than what I was given and paid for, thankfully, I was able to get a hold of customer service. They were able to refund me a portion back due to the second chip that wasn't fixed. I also want to note that this technician was very young and seemed very new to his job so it is obviously his higher-ups fault for sending an inexperienced worker out instead of coming out with them and showing them how to do their jobs properly instead of setting them up for failure.

I Don't Know Who Needs to Hear This, But... Don't Mess With My Hair or My Tint…read more I'm all for adventure when it comes to trying new spots, restaurants, shops, all the "why not" detours, but there are a few things in life I do not play around with. Hair stylists? That's a sacred bond. Once I find the one, we're basically in a committed relationship until fate (or a cross country move) rips us apart. And that brings me to auto tint. Several months ago, I bought a new vehicle, cue the excitement, and naturally, I needed new tint. No biggie, right? I head to my usual spot, only to find... crickets. Gone. Vanished. Just an empty lot and me, sitting there like a confused raccoon in daylight. Panic? Slightly. Panic! Thank You Siri. ‍ Pulled out my phone. Hit up Yelp and Google like my life depended on it. Enter: Gray Shadow Impressions. Less than five minutes from me (the Tint Gods were listening), and the Reviews? Glowing. Like "cue the heavenly chorus" glowing. Checked their hours, open! I zoomed over. Realized ding dong! Maybe I should've called first. Whoops. (Don't be me. Be smarter.) So I called... from their very large, very obvious driveway. Nate, the owner, picks up. Super kind. I apologized for the surprise drop in, and he reassured me it was totally fine, he appreciates when people respect business hours (hint hint). From there? Flawless. Nate was warm, friendly, and explained every detail about the tinting process, options, benefits, what's legal, what's smart, what'll make your car look slick in all the best ways. Honestly? He's the Tint Whisperer. BUT WAIT, plot twist! My 16 year old son gets a last minute job interview. I'm scrambling. I mention it to Nate and he straight up offers to pick up my car for me. WHO DOES THAT? (Spoiler: Nate does.) Need a pickup or drop off for tint? You can literally schedule a date with Nate at Gray Shadow Impressions. I got my tint done yesterday. zero flaws. I'm already going back next week to tint the sunroof because... value, and commitment. This place? One stop shop. Tint dreams realized. Small biz magic. Highly recommend. Don't wait, go get shaded by the best.
