Service depends, as with all businesses, on the folks who are on staff that day and the volume of patients. Get there on a slow day with the amiable staff, an excellent experience. High volume day with a cranky person, flat experience. I've seen both. I still say this is a good location due to it being hidden--the volume will be lower than other CPLs. But, that doesn't mean it will be low--just lower (if you hit a busy time). I'm increasing my stars because, with my increased visits, I'm finding friendlier phlebotomists.

For four years, I've had to live with seeing an old address on the paperwork because dozens of phlebotmists and trainers at the Brodie and Far West locations didn't know how to delete and update addresses. Ariana also didn't miss my vein like several other phlebotomists, though I did bruise once. She should be promoted to a manager.

My hunch is too few expert staff are encouraged to rely on too much electronic communication to keep the bottles--um, patients--moving along. Right now I have no answer to a basic question asked hours ago about what precise time I need to not eat before my colonoscopy. Telling me "after you get up" doesn't help in that these days I get up at 4 am. Now the reply in the difficult to enter patient portal is that I'll perhaps get my answer after 8:30 am tomorrow--a bit late to be useful, methinks. Update: A representative phoned me directly at 7:35 am of my fast day to reaffirm you can't eat at any time after you rise on the day before the procedure. I replied that doesn't make sense if you rise, as I did, at 4 am. I won't be eating for a total of 36 hours. Makes no sense... (I am adding a star because the rep called.) If you need service, my recommendation: Look for a more old-fashioned customer service experience. I hope there is one.

Two large waiting areas; however, didn't use because my name was called within moments. Yay. Dr. Wang has a great personality. He's very friendly and actually listens. He addressed all of my concerns thoroughly and promptly. Visit notes were available on My Chart the very next day - a Saturday! I have a follow-up telehealth visit with him this week, so I will see how that goes. Overall, a great experience. Definitely worth the extra distance because things worked so much more quickly. :) Plus - xrays available on-site. Very convenient. Tech was nice. Meh - some things are very antiquated. I actually had to fill out paper forms to allow them to share information with another physician. Gasp! Lol. And in order to share my images, I had to drive back to pickup a CD. What? The care team was different for each visit but everyone we came in contact with was friendly and engaging. We dealt with an ankle fracture on one visit and an arm injury on another. Both were handled with care and treated quickly. Our second visit was a walk-in and it became apparent that making an appt (even after walking in) was needed because we kept getting bumped as the appts were coming in. Note to the wise, make an appt, even if you're on your way in to do a walk-in or you will continue to lose your spot in line to the incoming appointments.
