Making an appointment was simple and timely. I have been looking for a new doctor close to home and feel excited to have found one. 10 stars all around!! Due to a bad experience 2 years ago, I have been avoiding this practice. It took the dr over a week to call in my prescription refills. Yesterday I needed to see a doctor asap and in a panic made an appt here. I was pleasantly surprised to see the new staff when I arrived -- and they exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for incredible women medical professionals - this is your place!

I was on time for my appointment and I did not have to wait long to be seen. My appointment was also pretty efficient. When I filled out my information forms online everything had transferred and they already had my patient portal set up before my appointment. I didn't have to complete paperwork over or resubmit my insurance information. The nurse practitioner made sure to ask questions, and really understand any concerns I had, and she also made it easy for me to get the care I needed. I was pleased with my experience.

I recently visited Vik's Complete Care after a severe fall while working in my closet and believed…read moreI needed immediate medical attention. Before going, I checked my Humana insurance, which listed this facility as a provider, so I arrived expecting to use my coverage. Once I arrived, I was told they do not accept insurance, which was very confusing and concerning given how they were listed under my plan. I was then informed that costs would start at around $800 or more, and according to the receptionist, they do not perform X-rays. Despite my insurance copay being $45, I was insisted upon to pay $800 upfront before any examination, without being seen by a doctor or receiving any medical evaluation. Due to the excessive cost, I declined treatment and left. The receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the interaction, which only made the situation worse. Being pressured for a large upfront payment before any care was provided raised serious concerns. Overall, between the lack of transparency regarding insurance, exorbitant pricing, and unprofessional behavior, I chose not to proceed with treatment and will not be returning. This experience left me very uncomfortable and concerned about how patients are treated here.

Came here early December 2025. I had gone to my OBGYN the day before going to Viks due to unnatural…read morebreast pain, swelling, & spreading redness. I left the OB completely freaked out (the on call doc when I went was absolutely awful) & not to mention, with no diagnosis or meds or anything at all. As someone who suffers from anxiety, I had a full blown anxiety attack for the next 24 hours. The following day I couldn't take it and came down the road to viks. Due to the intimate nature of my issue, I requested a female doctor but they told me they only had male; so I just took what I could get, not a huge deal. Front desk was fairly nice, filled out the papers, and they took me back fairly quickly. My doctor was Dr. Mcalasdair (apologies if i spelled that wrong). While I did originally want an ultra sound, he attempted talking me out of it. We went back and forth for a little bit but ultimately he said he was pretty confident he knew what was causing this, and while he didnt think an ultrasound was needed, he was willing to call their ultrasound person to come down and do it if I was adamant. I eventually caved and agreed to not do the ultrasound. Although he did make a little dig during our convo which I didn't appreciate (he said something along the lines of "I've been doing this for 30 years so I think I know what I'm doing). Please don't be condescending. Regardless of how long you've been in medicine, people are still allowed to advocate for themselves & their desires for their treatment. Anyway - aside from that, he was attentive and reassuring. However I've got to give it to the nurse - she really soothed me and my anxieties. She was such a sweetheart. She was maybe a middle aged lady with a British accent. She was so attentive, answered all my questions, checked on me, and when she could tell how nervous I was, she even brought me a little mini teddy bear with a viks shirt on to hold onto. No matter how old you are, little gestures like that really mean something, especially when you're scared. In the end, what I got was an IV in the arm with antibiotics. I believe it took like 45 min to fully drain. While I just sat there and waited, my nurse even brought me a heated blanket to make sure I was warm and comfortable. She was the best. They wrote me a prescription for an oral antibiotic but we were unsure if we were gonna make it on time before the pharmacy closed. On the off chance we didn't, they gave me my first pill ther so I wouldn't have to worry about missing a dose that night (in case we weren't able to get it until the next day). Thankfully we did make it to the pharmacy before they closed though. But that was really thoughtful. In the end, we ended up paying the ER price upon leaving. I haven't received any other bill in the mail so I can't speak on that experience yet... Also - the doctor called the next day to check up on me but I was unable to answer so he left a message. I called back the following day, but he wasn't busy with a patient so a message was taken. No call back. Called again the next day, he wasn't at the lakeway location, he was at another location. So I called the other viks location I was told he was at and they took a message since he was busy with a patient and told me he would call me back. He never did. I called again a day or two later back to the lakeway location and they gave me the same story and said they'd take a message but I told them I had already tried that multiple times and got no call back and told them I just wanted to speak to anyone on staff nurse or otherwise for them to answer my questions. So they put me on hold and I spoke to another doc I'm assuming, but not the one I saw, not dr macalasdair. This doc was pretty vague and dismissive with his answers. Basically it was like a couple word answers or "I can't answer that unless you come back in & we look at you again"...... mkay. He was unhelpful. Between the snarky response when I was advocating for myself in the room & the lack of call back and unhelpful response I got when I finally demanded to speak to anyone doctor on staff, that's why I took one star off. Otherwise, I had a solid experience. They fixed me and calmed my nerves at the same time. If anything goes awry with billing, I'll be sure to update my review. But for now, thanks for helping me!

So proud to be the first to review this team on Yelp…read more I cannot say enough good things about them - Krystal, Kendra - wow. Amidst a global pandemic, I needed some tests for allergies and the like. It's important. But hearing about the waiting rooms and all that jazz, I wanted to find something mobile. The first company I tried was beyond challenging. So I looked again, and found Phlebotomist on Wheels. I was starting to give up on this, but these folks were a Godsend. They listened carefully to my concerns (the prior company had everything in one bag, with only one set of gloves - yikes!), and walked carefully through how we'd approach it on-site at my building. Extra gloves and even a gown. In a world where you're a number in the system, Krystal and Kendra treated me like a person. Kendra showed up early, and was so accommodating, even when we added a few tests last minute and on a hot hot day in Austin (we did the test outside). Gross part: The needle came out at one point (probably me moving my arm), but she set me at ease, and with a professional care I see from the best pilots, moved forward. While I won't go into detail about the tests, let me just say that this wasn't an easy set. And she rocked it. She even used a smaller needle as I'd told her that getting stuck can be quite painful for me. Again - I'm used to a lack of service, a lack of care, a lack of understanding. POW is the opposite - service, caring, and as Kendra said truly treating others how we'd want to be treated. In my professional life, I have surveyed customer service systems, carefully analyzing what separates positive experiences from not-so-positive. I give POW an A+++ Very impressed. Will definitely use again. Affordable. Clear. Safe. Positive. Diligent. Respectful. Professional. Who could ask for anything more?

The day prior to going to the ER I went to Premier and saw "Doctor" Hale, explained the horrible headaches I had been having without letup, slurred speech issues, typing issues - and he gave me an ibuprofen shot and sent me on my way with no follow up. He said he would call to discuss the emailed blood work results with a phone call - nada. The ER doctors were absolutely appalled at the zero interest/lack of concern about the cause of the headaches, which was easily determined with a simple CT scan. I truly feel heard, supported, and cared for by her -- and that's rare, especially in ADHD care. I'm so grateful for her! That said, this review is three stars because of the front office staff. I've only had two phone interactions with the office since returning to care, and unfortunately, both were unnecessarily rude and condescending. The first was regarding a same day schedule change the office requested less than an hour before my appointment. When I couldn't accommodate the new time due to work, I was met with clear frustration and no flexibility. So I just made it work anyway. The second happened today: I had a virtual appointment this morning, and moments ago received a phone call demanding immediate payment -- not just for today's appointment, but also for one from a month ago that I hadn't even been notified about until just an hour earlier from my insurance. When I asked if I could pay through the portal, I was repeatedly pressured to pay over the phone instead, as if I was avoiding the bill. I have no issue paying my bill, and in fact, I paid it immediately after the call ended. But I was spoken to as if I had ignored multiple invoices, and the tone felt aggressive and was incredibly inappropriate. I understand that medical offices deal with difficult patients all the time. But kindness should be the standard, not the exception, especially when both phone calls I've had with your office staff have left a bad taste in my mouth. Thankfully, Dr. Ince makes it worth continuing care. But I'm genuinely relieved that my appointments are virtual, because based on how I've been treated, I have no desire to deal with this staff in person.
