5 Stars - The Best Urgent Care Experience I've Ever Had…read more I never thought I'd be writing a glowing Yelp review about an urgent care, but here we are! I managed to break my toe (don't ask... let's just say a garden hose won ‍), and since I was paying out of pocket, I called ahead to ask about pricing. Right away I was impressed. No one avoided my questions or acted annoyed about insurance or self-pay. They were kind, upfront, and gave me clear answers before I even walked through the door. When I arrived, Oscar greeted me and made checking in incredibly easy. He has one of those personalities that instantly puts you at ease. Friendly, calm, encouraging, and genuinely kind. Honestly, every school should have an Oscar. He's the type of person who could convince you that you could run a marathon with zero training just because he believes in you! Next, Sophia took my vitals, and she was just as wonderful. She was happy, bubbly, and chatting with my teenagers like we'd all known each other for years. Instead of sitting in an awkward exam room, we were laughing. Oscar then took my X-rays and, within minutes, was showing them to me. He even printed them onto a CD for me before I left and suggested I take photos of them as well. I've honestly never had that happen anywhere else. By the time we walked out, Casey already had my X-rays pulled up and immediately invited me over to look at them. He explained everything clearly, answered my questions without rushing, and even made me feel proud when he said, "You popped your toe back into place perfectly!" Not exactly an achievement I expected to celebrate, but I'll take it! Before I knew it, Oscar was right there with my walking boot, wrap, paperwork, and everything I needed to go home. The teamwork between everyone was incredible. I've been to plenty of medical offices where you feel like just another patient in line. This was the complete opposite. Everyone genuinely seemed happy to be there, and it showed. There was no long wait, no stressed-out employees, and no feeling like they were trying to rush me through. Just fast, efficient, compassionate care from people who clearly enjoy helping others. As a bonus, they even let my teenagers grab lollipops on the way out, which was the perfect ending to an already great experience. If I could leave more than five stars, I would. Thank you, Oscar, Sophia, and Casey, for turning a painful day into one of the best healthcare experiences I've ever had. I truly appreciate every one of you!

We were taken to a room within 5 minutes and greeted by two nurses who immediately began consultation and setting up the IV. I love how quick the discharge process was -- they make it so simple for you. Shoutout to Colin and Sherry, they are the best nurses we have come across and that says a lot given we are in an ER every few months. They are very great at making you feel heard and overall just amazingly nice people. The best of the best. Dr. Wright was very knowledgeable and just as respectful/nice as the nurses. Dr. Wright spent the time with us that a lot of medical providers fail to do. He explained options, possible effects, and helped us with decision making. He never made us feel like he was in a rush. He listened and advised. Thank you for that. Overall, we were taken very good care of at Vik Complete Care and will certainly choose this location in the future. First Visit: I had been dealing with a respiratory tract infection for almost 30 days and had already been treated by another community care center. Since I had a trip planned, I wanted to confirm whether I was still contagious. After completing my paperwork, I was called in quickly. The doctor reviewed my symptoms--fever that came and went, a bad cough, and throat discomfort. She checked my vitals, body temperature, and BP, which were all normal at that moment. Since I had already completed a round of antibiotics, she advised me to let my body fight the infection, reassuring me that I was no longer contagious. That was a relief, and I left Ally without being charged. Second Visit: After returning from my trip to California, I came back to Ally with a 103°F fever, severe body aches, extreme fatigue, and a baddd cough. This time, they ran every available test for infections and viruses, which confirmed that I had Influenza A, Influenza B, and COVID-19 and Respiratory Tract Infection. Unfortunately, since I had been sick for over a week, the doctor explained that antiviral medication wouldn't be effective. But they saw how severe my cough was, they prescribed an inhaler and cough medication to help manage my symptoms. I was charged $220 but that was in my best interest there are several other options which you can decide accordingly. What I appreciate most about Ally is that they are upfront about costs. Unlike other ERs that seem to prioritize billing over patient care, they inform you of pricing in advance, giving you the option to accept or decline services based on what's in your best interest. I honestly trust them more than my own physician at this point. I once took a friend to another ER where she tested positive for the flu. All they did was checked her vitals and BP before prescribing medication. Later she received a bill for $1,000. I was very ill at the time, so I do not have any pictures of Ally. However, I've attached a screenshot as proof of my visit.

I had a slight wait on both occasions but it was never longer than 10 minutes. Someone eventually took me to a room where the usual happens. Someone took my blood pressure, and asked me why I needed to see a doctor. I stated my reasons on both occasions. Eventually I saw the doctor that was on duty and they took care of me. Each time I was treated kindly and with respect. Overall Next Level Urgent Care worked out well for me. It was really convenient for me and the people that work there were kind and respectful and I got the care that I needed.

I also work in healthcare and have seen Dermabond administered properly many times. Unfortunately, my experience with Carmelia Petch, PA, was completely different. During the application, her hands were noticeably shaky, and the Dermabond was applied messily, leaving purple adhesive across my thumb and hand while parts of the actual incision appeared inadequately covered. Very little of the adhesive was used, and I left feeling as though the wound itself had not been properly secured--the entire reason I came in. Given the location in Westlake and the appearance of such a beautiful, modern facility, I expected a much higher standard of care. The front desk staff was very nice, but I was incredibly disappointed with the treatment I received from this particular PA. It felt like a complete waste of my time and money, and I would not feel comfortable having her treat a similar injury again.

The nurse practitioner made sure to ask questions, and really understand any concerns I had, and she also made it easy for me to get the care I needed. I was pleased with my experience.
