They've made improvements to parking and the rooms, but the café and food options still need some work. The check-in process for day procedures could also use improvement. It seems they are updating the lobby area as well. The staff is attentive and does their best, and I had a great experience with the ER staff during my last visit. However, the follow-up care after the ER visit could be better. Overall, this hospital is one of the better options in the Austin area. After reading others' reviews and their experiences, I've realized that many of the issues are common across hospitals in the US medical system, not just this one. I am glad we have the doctors of St David's South on my father's medical team. They have given us 16 and counting bonus years.

Despite her visible dehydration and the difficulty staff had establishing an IV, she remained in the ER for approximately four hours without receiving any IV fluids. Before being discharged, she suffered a physical setback, yet she was still sent home. The following day, we were notified that she tested positive for C. diff. It is deeply concerning that a patient in her condition, with what turned out to be a serious infection, was brushed off and discharged while still thirsty and weak. We now have to wait several days to see her primary care physician for follow-up care that should have been initiated or supported by the emergency team. I am disappointed by the lack of effort and the dismissive attitude we encountered during this visit. I would appreciate a review of her case and an explanation as to why standard interventions, such as administering saline fluids, were not provided given her symptoms. We can do better for all patients.

I've tired with the home remedies but I work up at its peak on Sunday morning and decided to get help. The clinic is clean, inviting and very friendly. From the front desk interaction, the nurse and the doctor, everyone is very nice, super informative and operates in timely matter. I was diagnosed with sinus/bronchitis infection and prescribed meds. I went home with a paperwork spelling out in details my visit, what to do next as far as my meds, what I was diagnostic with along with helpful pointers for prevention in the future. Thank you Val, Jackson and Dr Van! You did an excellent job and I feel a ton better today!

She took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly assess my condition, and explain her treatment plan in a way that was easy to understand and gave me confidence in the process. Dr. Lily is the kind of physical therapist who makes you laugh so much, you forget you're actually working. We bonded over our love for reading and somehow turned therapy sessions into plot twists and punchlines. 10/10 would recommend--especially if you like your healing with a side of humor! Thanks to Dr. Lily, I've regained strength, mobility, and hope. She's not only an excellent therapist but also a wonderful person to work with. If you're looking for someone skilled, encouraging, and truly dedicated to your recovery, Dr. Lily is the one.

I really appreciated the extra effort & thought put into the decoration of the mammogram exam room. It was decked out in pink decor, including soft pink lighting that created a peaceful atmosphere & had a calming effect as you're getting your mammogram done. There was also pink decor displayed that reminded you of the importance of getting regular mammograms done for early detection of breast cancer. I didn't have to wait long in the patient waiting lobby before getting called back to get my mammogram done & the mammogram took about 30 mins or so. My results were sent to me afterwards through my ARC My Chart account after the doctor reviewed them. A few helpful tidbits about this ARC location: - - mammogram services located in the building closest to hwy 3828, 1st floor - - private parking lot for patients Till next time!

I was told my diabetes was caused by sleep apenea, and any other physical problems I have are caused by Sleep apnea. I have addressed my sleep apenea over the years, and can't use the machine and mask of any kind. The Dr was upset that I can't use mask, I was told I am unwilling to help myself, and there was nothing they could or would do for me if I didn't pay 1000 out of pocket for study and additional for the machine. The truth is, I only went because I am having a hard time getting to sleep. I stay asleep. I've done all the generic treatments Trazadone, hydroxidine in high doses, but it doesn't help. Again, I saw reg doc, and she reminded me they absolutely do not give prescriptions to help insomnia, so referred to specialist that gave me same message. Are there doctors the help out there with anything? This doctor was the worst I've ever seen, thank you for 3 month wait, 80.00 Co-pay, and offer no help or hope. Make sure I knew 30 mins are up, and tell me what I already know (except, I was surprised to learn diabetes is caused by sleep apnea.) What an incredible insult to patient rights, such a lack of intelligence and compassion are far beyond my understanding.

First Visit: I had been dealing with a respiratory tract infection for almost 30 days and had already been treated by another community care center. Since I had a trip planned, I wanted to confirm whether I was still contagious. After completing my paperwork, I was called in quickly. The doctor reviewed my symptoms--fever that came and went, a bad cough, and throat discomfort. She checked my vitals, body temperature, and BP, which were all normal at that moment. Since I had already completed a round of antibiotics, she advised me to let my body fight the infection, reassuring me that I was no longer contagious. That was a relief, and I left Ally without being charged. Second Visit: After returning from my trip to California, I came back to Ally with a 103°F fever, severe body aches, extreme fatigue, and a baddd cough. This time, they ran every available test for infections and viruses, which confirmed that I had Influenza A, Influenza B, and COVID-19 and Respiratory Tract Infection. Unfortunately, since I had been sick for over a week, the doctor explained that antiviral medication wouldn't be effective. But they saw how severe my cough was, they prescribed an inhaler and cough medication to help manage my symptoms. I was charged $220 but that was in my best interest there are several other options which you can decide accordingly. What I appreciate most about Ally is that they are upfront about costs. Unlike other ERs that seem to prioritize billing over patient care, they inform you of pricing in advance, giving you the option to accept or decline services based on what's in your best interest. I honestly trust them more than my own physician at this point. I once took a friend to another ER where she tested positive for the flu. All they did was checked her vitals and BP before prescribing medication. Later she received a bill for $1,000. I was very ill at the time, so I do not have any pictures of Ally. However, I've attached a screenshot as proof of my visit.

Walgreens said that the prescription was sent to cvs and since they are closed, they can't transfer the prescription to bill my insurance so I'll have to pay out of pocket.
