We had a foundation in a corner of the house where the soil under the footing was washed out. The length was about 12 feet with a 4 inch gap between footing and ground. We called TerraFirma! Very soon we were meeting with our sales person after he inspected the outside of the home, the crawl space and measured elevations within the house. There was 1/2 inch drop in elevation where a crack was in the middle of the unsupported foundation wall. Plenty of photos were shown to us about the condition of the crawl space. We made a decision to support the crawlspace with a helical screws option. 4 piers would be needed to hold up the problem area. This was a guaranteed option where the other was to inject the polyLevel material. This later option might do the job just fine. But, could also allow sag, again, at a later time. We wanted the repair done once and for all time. Also, the inspection found two posts failing to support the floor beams. We would have those replaced, along with a sump pump installed, in the crawl space. We signed the contract and were placed in the work schedule which was a couple of months out. We were asked if we would like to be moved up in the schedule if there was an earlier opening made available due to cancelation or whatever. We said yes to that and as a result the work was able to be completed a month earlier than we expected. Great! The crew arrived, on time, and got right down to it, literally. All engineering, permits, inspections by third party engineer and county officials was taken care of without a hitch. 4 piers were in place in 1 day. The 1/2 inch drop was corrected by the helical screw piers. When we had questions about the work, our crew foreman guided us through the project process so we received good answers from him. Very satisfied! I rarely use this word but I gotta' say it was "Awesome" to watch the technical crew install those piers. Quite the combination of difficult, strenuous labor and technical expertise using high quality gear and materials. Thanks, again, for the good work!

I had a 70 year old retaining wall next to the sidewalk that was failing - large cracks, leaning…read moreout. A serious hazard and potential liability. Previous owners planted large shrubs next to the wall, making things worse. Most of the professionals I talked to wanted to repair this wall. Ricky Lemon said it would be a lot of work, and expensive, but he agreed with me that the wall had to go. He and his small crew tore out the wall and the shrubs, hauled off the debris, and installed French drains and a terraced block wall that looks great in about two weeks of really hard work. Mr Lemon and his crew were respectful, pleasant to interact with, always willing to explain what they were doing, considerate of me and my neighbors, and really a delight to have working on my property. The work was top notch. The crew worked hard in hot weather - and I like this about Ricky Lemon - he provided cold drinks for his crew, insisted that they take breaks, and did not work during the two hottest days (so far) in July. In the end, he added railings on both sides of the two flights of steps up to my front door. Since I am as old as that wall was, I am really grateful that he did the extra work to find good-looking, sturdy, safe railings for me. The whole thing looks great now - I need to plant some flowers in the terraces, but it is too hot for that just now. If you hire Ricky Lemon, you will get someone who is a really good worker, who produces a great result - someone who knows what he is doing and does it really, really well.

It had been many years since it was cleaned. The technician arrived slightly early and got straight to work. He seemed knowledgeable and had all the necessary tools and supplies. After getting under the house, he quickly determined that the odor was coming from the laundry area, not the dryer vent. It was the foul smell of a skunk. The dryer vent was indeed in need of cleaning; reassembling the ductwork, he used screws and tape, so I feel it's very serviceable. The gentleman was considerate and flexible because I asked him to give our wood insert chimney a mid-season cleaning. Having a strong draw is essential since it provides over 60% of our heat. So thanks to the skunk, we now have more efficient facilities and a new resource. I will put the Ye Old Town Sweep in my contacts for their service next year.
