They built two patio covers in our yard, and I love to prance around under both of them every chance I get. It's like having my very own royal pup palace! The Landerking crew was so exciting to watch - I sat and supervised (with lots of tail wagging) as they worked, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. Now I have the perfect place for strutting, relaxing, and keeping cool on hot days. I can strut my stuff proudly in the shade, then flop down for a nap without worrying about the sun. The craftsmanship is so impressive that even a dog can tell it's amazing - every beam and post is sturdy and beautiful (and trust me, I sniffed them all!). My humans are super happy with our new patio covers, which makes me happy too (because that means more belly rubs and treats for me - yay!). My wife and I sat down with Brian, Rick's sales rep, on July 31 and discussed our project of a side…read morewrought iron fence, gate and handrails on both sides of our porch. Brian was very thorough in explaining our options and we immediately felt we wanted to do business with Rick's. We felt confident the job would be of quality. Brian explained to us because our project was a small one (24' of fencing including a locking gate) it would be a while before a crew would be able to fit us in and would probably be a one day job. We were fine with this. The crew of Ben and Nate arrived early on September 23rd to install the fence. They had to work around two irrigation lines by digging and rerouting the two lines. After completing the rerouting they dug holes for the other posts and placed them in concrete. They did an excellent job and said they would return the next day to install the fencing. That they did but unfortunately the gate had not arrived so they would need to return at a future date to install the gate. On October 8th Ben returned to install the hand railing. There was an issue with our stucco looking siding. Trying to screw in the handrails, screws barely reached the wooden structure of the column. But Ben did and the handrails were firmly in place. But not up to Ben's standards. He said he would come back to make it right when the gate came in. On October 16th Ben had Matt and Will come with him and installed longer screws and reset the handrails. On the same day Matt and Will assisted Ben in installing the gate. They did an excellent job. Ben, Nate, Will and Matt all were very professional and extremely skilled with their workmanship in completing our project. The gate and fencing are solid and look great. We have received compliments from and neighbors and visiting friends. We are extremely satisfied with the work and the appearance of the fence, gate and handrails. We highly recommend Rick's Custom Fencing and Decking. Specifically the work done by Ben, Nate, Will and Matt.

At first…read morewhen i called to get a quote, Mollie, not sure what her role is, but she is who i communicated with throughout this whole ordeal. First call, she was super helpful, got Josh out right away for a quote. He was a nice guy, and got us a quote right away. BTW, this house, was painted in numerous dark colors, had cedar shake shingles, and quite a few of them were the brand new that they sell now preprimed. We told him the colors we wanted , which were a lighter body color and darker gable ends. Anyway no mention was made that it would be hard to cover the dark trim around windows. He told us in the contract that weather permitting it would be done by first part of Oct, which was perfect for us, as we were putting house on the market mid Oct. Then we got hit with some major rain storms, and all their projects were put on hold. Once the rains cleared Mollie emailed and said Josh and the crew would be up the next day to get our house done. They somehow managed to prep, and paint all in one day, which is very unusual for that to happen, especially with 3 colors of paint. I went up when Mollie said house was done, and took a look, at first glance it was fine, until I noticed he had painted our downspouts grey along with the corners all around the house. The downspouts should have been removed, duh!!! And the corners were supposed to be the trim color which was white. So he had to do something to rectify the matter. Now at the time he looked at the house, there were no gutters or downspouts, but I did tell him that there was a good possibility that they would be on when he made it up to paint. I also noticed that where the new cedar shingles were put on ( alot of areas), including the entire front of the garage, were a totally different shade of grey. When I mentioned that to him, he said yes, the new shingles don't absorb paint the way the older shingles did, and made a joke that another one of his clients had the same problem, and she hated it so much she redid her whole house with the new shingles (after she'd already paid a painter). Never beforehand, when he bid the job, did he mention to me that the paint wouldn't match! It looks AWFUL!!!! He said there was nothing that could be done. The next day I got a scathing text message DEMANDING payment now, but there was still painting equipment and debris all over the place. I told him that my husband who was out of town would take care of it when he got back into town, after he looked at the house. When my husband came back into town, we went up, and he noticed the discolored shingles as well as so many other things that I missed! Bare wood trim boards that weren't primed first needed more coats (could see the wood through the paint), over spray on the eves, and other things. When he called Josh about this, all we got from him was another scathing email demanding payment and that there was nothing wrong with the paint job...needless to say, now we are selves have to try to fix this problem. I have never in my life been treated so badly by a company, and a company not standing by their work!! I would never recommend this company to anyone!! I guess the saying is right, you get what you pay for!!!

Our basement crawl space was completely transformed from a dirt/wet rocky floor to a now useable space for storage. The attic insulation (cellulose) has made a big difference with heat/AC loss compared to the fiberglass we had and the spray foam underneath the kitchen has made the room smell better, no more temperature swings at night, and floors are no longer cold. It wasn't cheap by any means but we'll be saving on energy and overall comfort has improved indefinitely.

I was told it was done multiple times - with the piping above-ground, and an alarm that was supposed to be installed still in the box. Brandon and his team finally got it figured out and did a great job communicating, but there was still confusion between the manager, Sean, and the office staff, who even threatened via phone to put a lean on my home, even though I had been calling and emailing them about the poor work and needing to get the installation completed. Grateful to Brandon for his work, and his respectfully addressing my concerns and caring about me as a customer. I would highly recommend him and his crew. First off, before we even decided to do the work, Eric met with us several times to answer questions and help us make decisions regarding the details of the project. Each time he was very thoughtful, gave us plenty of ideas and was always willing to recalculate the bid based on our adjustments. These positive interactions and the more than fair cost estimate convinced us to hire Eric for the project. From then on, everything went smooth. This was a 9-day project and never once did they start late or leave early to attend to other business.
