Was quoted almost 4k to re set the shims/ level my home. Booked the date and was told half up front half upon completion very odd way of confirming my down payment made me a little uncomfortable but I went ahead . Was told the process would be half a day ( approximately) it took ONE hour... There was no communication I didn't get a receipt a listing of any supplies ( which to have it redone would be cheaper with THEIR equipment) new measurements showing I was level pictures a walk thru questions answered nothing.. it was payment is now due thank you have a good weekend.. I emailed and got the "quality control" guy to come out the following week. I asked a few questions but felt like I was a waste of his time and he's : trying to teach the guys about customer service: he went under the house said everything was secure and left ... No one said anything about the 3 inch gap between my home and the foundation/ wall that STILL needed to be repaired/ re leveled. Very noticeable.. as you could see the back yard thru the gap. so disappointed in this company! We had to hire another contractor to get that level. Ridiculous!! I trusted them to repair my HOME!! Construction on the hill behind me caused the leaky hill to bubble up under my house and I ended up with a lake under there. TerraFirma installed french drains around the interior foundation with 2 sump pumps and a dehumidifier. The crew couldn't have been more professional or more respectful of our home. Very pleased with the work, from the beginning sales person visit to the ending follow-up chats, on the phone, about the work performed. We had a foundation in a corner of the house where the soil under the footing was washed out. The length was about 12 feet with a 4 inch gap between footing and ground. We called TerraFirma! Very soon we were meeting with our sales person after he inspected the outside of the home, the crawl space and measured elevations within the house. There was 1/2 inch drop in elevation where a crack was in the middle of the unsupported foundation wall. Plenty of photos were shown to us about the condition of the crawl space. We made a decision to support the crawlspace with a helical screws option. 4 piers would be needed to hold up the problem area. This was a guaranteed option where the other was to inject the polyLevel material. This later option might do the job just fine. But, could also allow sag, again, at a later time. We wanted the repair done once and for all time. Also, the inspection found two posts failing to support the floor beams. We would have those replaced, along with a sump pump installed, in the crawl space. We signed the contract and were placed in the work schedule which was a couple of months out. We were asked if we would like to be moved up in the schedule if there was an earlier opening made available due to cancelation or whatever. We said yes to that and as a result the work was able to be completed a month earlier than we expected. Great! The crew arrived, on time, and got right down to it, literally. All engineering, permits, inspections by third party engineer and county officials was taken care of without a hitch. 4 piers were in place in 1 day. The 1/2 inch drop was corrected by the helical screw piers. When we had questions about the work, our crew foreman guided us through the project process so we received good answers from him. Very satisfied! I rarely use this word but I gotta' say it was "Awesome" to watch the technical crew install those piers. Quite the combination of difficult, strenuous labor and technical expertise using high quality gear and materials. Thanks, again, for the good work! read more

Seldom do you find a company that exceeds your expectations, as Terra Firma has done. After doing internet research of companies who offer crawlspace encapsulation, we chose TF. Their salesperson, Brian, spent nearly 2 hours investigating our situation and made over 40 photos of the space where only rats and bugs can crawl, under our floor. He found many issues we weren't aware-of, which needed correcting, from water seeps under the foundation, to unsealed exterior vents, and vents in the floor which weren't connected to ductwork. He worked with us on pricing to fall within the figure we had in-mind. When install day arrived, the TF crew arrive exactly on-time and started pulling-out the deteriorated plastic sheeting commonly used to cover the bare ground in a crawl space. Installation of the TF System went very smoothly and the installing foreman, Nick Maszy, took extra effort to insure that all the issues we had were mitigated satisfactorily. The 2-layer TF Encapsulation System incorporates the latest products applicable to this type of work. Now the space under our floor is sealed completely and even smells good. Gone are the rats, insects and mold. The finished job is amazing in it's appearance. TF has a customer care person who called us numerous times, before during and after the installation to ensure we were pleased and to to make a few minor changes, at our request. This was done easily and even reduced the total cost of the project, as work which was on the contract was deleted. This company is highly professional from sale to project completion.
