The plaza that the restaurant is located is small and a little old. The outside has some chairs to wait with your party as it does get packed. We came in on a Friday (10/2/26). Our dinner party was for a group of 18 celebrating my mom's 60th. The hostess/host at the front were all very kind and welcoming. The ambiance is a mixture of causal and a slight bit of fancy in my opinion. I always like a little dim atmosphere. We were seated near the kitchen so it was nice to see how the flow of the BOH to floor flowed so effortlessly. The food was amazing. All my family down to the children enjoyed their meals . Portions were generous and more than enough for the price. It's fair in this economy that is. Raina our waiter was attentive to all of our orders and very patient with my dad who is a bit hard of hearing and answered his questions with so much grace. Lots of birthdays that evening. They sang happy birthday to my mom with us and waited as we finished singing in our native language. Thank you to everyone that was apart of the waitstaff. My mom really enjoyed her birthday dinner!! There's much to say about the place. It has good days and bad days. I've only personally been theres a handful of times and each trip differs. I'm going to recall my experiences both good and bad. There's are things I can applaud this small business on and also things Im going to complain about. Let's start with the bad. Now It can't just be me but there's is a certain employee that just rinks of rude. I've never caught his name but how I'm going to describe him will for sure paint a clear picture. He's an older most likely late 40s early 50s caucasion man wider than most and gives off a very uncomfortable vibe his natural expression is just of disgust and he has this thick southern accent you might find in an in bred redneck. I once asked for crushed peppers and she said they were all out and right behind him what do I see a huge container right behind him filed to the top. And I've also observed his treatment of his fellow coworkers he's so rude to them and talked down to them. He also lacks customer service I was being helped by a very kind employee and he comes out of nowhere asking him to get him ice when he himself clearly had nothing to do but to boss others around, he then leaving me I got stuck to deal with him. He lurks around the counters finding ways to creep customers out he makes me physically uncomfortable and uneasy if I was child Id prob have nightmares of him. Well enough of him now on to the cleanliness. I've been there at times where it's perfect not a crumb in place and I understand that yes it gets busy and yes people are messy and dirty and could be cleaner but when there's trash on the floor and crush peppers and Parmesan cheese festering on the counters like I'm in a some pigsty it's time to clean up. The floors should be swept more and mopped looks like cars were doing donuts in there. Also sadly hate to be that guy but it's slightly pricey especially for simple things that shouldn't. The joint Also is very hot that never changes every visit to Antonious is like entering a green house. Bacon... No bacon for pizza or sandwiches... GET BACON. I'm sure there are things in forgetting but I must move on. Now the good. The restaurant has a very family feel besides that one rude employee the rest of the crew is nice an kinda and always smiling. There's a couple employees in particular that I just enjoy so helpful and happy one a younger man maybe mid 20s Latino man just a fun guy and the other this young African American kid he has this smile that lights up your world so helpful does everything he can for you also sure to tip these two. The food is divine. The spinach lasagna will make your mouth water. The antipasto salad the roll thing they do with the cheese and meat is unique. And of course the pizza, so good and if you need a big pizza to feed quite a few pizza they have this XL large pizza comes with 12 16 slices. They also know what you need if you thinking of it they always 2 steps ahead never need to ask for plates or napkins or anything always can read my mind. And during Christmas they truly get in the spirit!!! Simply beautiful the decorations are magnificent. I absolutely adore this place it's amazing and hope it's hear for a long time. Like all things there's pros and cons but the pros outway the cons in this case. read more

Not sure if most people order from this place in person or just use one of the delivery apps, but my recent visit left me with mixed feelings. It's a small business, which I respect, but the overall experience was questionable. The atmosphere felt off, and the customer service could definitely use improvement. The woman who assisted me seemed unsure of herself, which made the interaction a bit awkward I just wanted to get my pizza and go. The restaurant itself felt uncomfortable, and honestly, it made me question whether I'd return. First impressions matter, and I think the owners need to take a serious look at how their space comes across to customers. I understand that starting a small business isn't easy, especially financially, but investing in the interior and general operations could go a long way. The vibe of a restaurant is important it reflects on the quality and care behind the food too. I couldn't help but wonder what things might be like behind the scenes. Amazing place to eat. And customer service is unmatched by any other pizza joints. Young man working the front counter in a beanie made sure all of mine and my families needs were met and suggested the best deals for us and ensured we got our pizza swiftly and for a good price, then he went to the back and even made some pizzas throwing the dough like a true professional making this an enjoyable experience for the kids because they got to see their dough be made, like is there anything that young man can't do??Great place to bring the family hot slices up front and quick pizzas being made but still ensuring great quality. Would recommend to anyone going to downtown not only during regular year but even during Festival of Lights, even with the restaurant being packed out the doors the customer service maintains its exelence read more

I can't stop but love this place. The art on the walls, the friendly staff, the quaint and eloquent atmosphere that is just magnified by the food! This pizza is filling, delicious, and oh so satisfying when you happen to be just strolling by and wanting something even the picky kids can enjoy. They also have other stuff on the menu too so don't be afraid to ask if you go in a group and aren't in the mood for pizza. And best of all. Vegetarian options are available! With how intense these current times are, having a piece of their food reminds you of the peaceful bliss of the less stressful past. Things will get better, and if you want a pick me up, they also do DELIVERY. What an epic time to be so forward with technology and support a family owned business as well. read more

I love their food, and I have since I was a young boy. When I had gone to the downtown Riverside location, and I saw the manager/owner, Wayne I think his name is, nostalgia had got me very excited as he ran the old Antonios on Elizabeth, when I approached Wayne, he was a complete jerk. He completely disregarded my feelings, and I am pretty sure he is a Racist. He acted as if I was a lesser being, and was not nearly as excited to see me. Do not support Racist establishments, I have no idea why he has named his pizza place Antonios, maybe he is trying to play off the fact that foriegners own pizza shops. read more

Probably the worst pizza place I've ever been to. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received. Every single worker was incompetent and made the line take about 20 min when it could have taken 5. I will never be returning. Very disappointing. Wish I could give it negative stars. It's almost as if they went out of their way to be as inconsiderate as possible. I tried to add a slice of pizza to my order while buying a refill at the pick up counter, but they would not accommodate that and told me I'd have to wait in the 25+ min line again. read more

This place is great! The food is awesome at low prices. The atmosphere is really calm and comfortable with nice paintings and decorations. They also have really good desserts and cold beer and wine!
