I accidentally broke the inside panel of a dual pane bedroom window out in Discovery Bay. I called a glass company that seemed to be from Brentwood or as described East County They came out for a free quote measured and I got a quote quickly that just did not feel within the realm of reality. So I called for a second company to come out. Antioch glass came out did the exact same measurements and gave me a quote quickly for 60% less expensive then the first quote from the other East Bay company that does glass. All workers were very professional the timeliness were the same but I obviously gave Antioch glass the job. Guy came out did the work work. You cannot tell it was ever worked on. If the other company was not so outrageously inflated I would of probably not called another company not knowing and assuming all companies charge roughly the same. Luckily for me his prices just seemed exaggerated. Important note !!!!!!!!! They measured carefully and the install went well, thanks to Dalton and Daniel, except for a small area that was damaged that they pointed out to me. They apologized and the shop took care of the repair, which I truly appreciated. Then I needed a new screen door. Ron came to measure, Dalton and Daniel did the install, and everything was great. Daniel and Dalton exceeded expectations. I explained to Daniel, when he first measured and inspected my shower, that the door fell on me while I was trying to clean it. But it was old and too hard to clean. The screw literally corroded and so the door broke off. So they replaced it, reinforced it along the entire top, added extra water guards around the entire frame, and gave me less metal around the door to clean. Thanks for listening gentlemen! We used Antioch glass through our contractor with a master bathroom remodel. The glass enclosure was $1800. It is nice thick glass that was custom cut! I love the black hardware options and the door handle! After two days of resting, we were able to use the shower and I've had no problems, all the areas are completely secure. It truly opens up the entire bathroom being able to see through the seamless glass! The workers had it all installed within a few hours. Yelp messaging is the easiest thing to do when you want to compare prices and see how soon something can get done. I've used it only a couple of times before and it is so easy! I needed to replace the broken sidelight window by the front door. I received quotes from a few companies. All were great to work with. Chose Antioch Glass because they could place the order for the glass the day I called and they were priced competitively. They were also so easy to work with. I thought the estimate would take a day or two at least but they were able to get it measured right away, on the same day, because they were already in the area. It's a long story, but I ordered glass shelves for a cabinet and in the mean time the original cabinet shelves were found. My initial call to them was pleasant and it seemed that they were going to do a good job, but after setting an appointment I never heard back. I called three times and finally got the owner of the company asking if the job was done. After being put on hold for five minutes, he came back telling me that it had not even been started. I called on a Friday afternoon for an appointment, three minutes before they closed, and was given an appointment for Monday morning. I called Monday morning to share that I forgot that I had a 11 am appointment and the scheduler made it the first call of the morning I live in an older home and five small panes in three windows were fixed within an hour. Definitely a four-star service rating. I would have given them five stars, however, for my bathroom window where he replaced 50% of the panes, while he was on the ladder outside cleaning the newly installed glass and I commented now the rest were dirty. I heard about Antioch Glass from the Winter Chevy dealership so I gave them a call when my windshield was cracked. They told me they weren't able to order my windshield, but I could order it from the dealership and they would install it for me. Two young men (maybe in their early 20s???) came out because we needed a repair of our shower door. They told us it would have to be replaced because they didn't have the equipment to repair it. While they were looking at it, they also took the inside handle off the shower door, more correctly, they broke it off and just pushed two little screws (which were the wrong size and fell out) into the holes.
