"I like smoke and lightning Heavy metal thunder" (Steppenwolf) Q: What on earth is Antimony? A: Antimony is a heavy metal. Chemical symbol Sb and atomic number 51 on your periodic table. Antimony is known as the "wolf of metals" because its chemical structure allows it to devour pretty much any other metal except gold. So that kind of explains all of the wolf-inspired logos and imagery you'll see at Antimony Brewing. It's located in a big retail center with plenty of parking and located on a main road (Route 20), so it's a very easy to visit and enjoy some wonderful beers and food. Four if us just had lunch there and we had a terrific visit. Of course, when I visit a brewery-restaurant, the first thing I do when seated is scope out the beer list and find something that intrigues me. Their selection represents pretty much everything in the beer world - IPAs, Double IPAs, Sours, Ales, Stouts, and Pilsners, plus some very cool cocktails and hard cider. I went with a 16-ounce pour of their Cherry Blonde Ale ($9, 5.0 ABV, 20 IBU). It was mild, very drinkable and quite delicious. Their food menu is very ambitious with ten small plates (how about Texas Twinkie Egg Rolls, Panko Crusted Cheese Curds, or Chicken Kimchi Potstickers?), four salads, eight burgers including elk, bison, lamb, Wagyu, and Ghost Pepper, eight sandwiches including tacos and a Prime Rib Dip, seven Big Plates including salmon, brisket and steak tips, and four pizzas including Wild Mushroom and Balsamic Fig. I couldn't resist the Ghost Pepper Smash Burger ($19) with ghost pepper cheddar, candied jalapenos garlic aioli, and a double smashed burger patties. I thought it was a great choice, the burger patties were yummy and the candied jalapenos packed a punch. The ghost pepper cheese didn't seem to add much zip, but maybe it was overpowered by the jalapenos? My wife ordered a short pour of their cider draft ($4 for 5-ounces) and it was served with a cinnamon sugar dusting on the rim, which really enhanced the apple cider! Her lunch was the Butternut Squash Salad ($16) with mixed greens, cubed butternut squash, goat cheese, candied pecans, dried cranberries, and a maple vinaigrette dressing. What a great mix of flavors and textures. Our server was a young lady named Karizma and she was personable, professional, and very helpful. Our party of four's lunch ran $129 for 5 drinks, our burger and salad, plus another salad (with salmon) and a fish and chips. We had a totally enjoyable visit with great food, great drink, and great friends. PRO TIP There are no sinks in the men's room or ladies' room. Instead, there is a Unisex communal bank of sinks for everyone to wash up together. Seems like a very cool way to make friends!!

Visited Antimony Brewing in April 2025. The burger was juicy and flavorful, served on fresh buns with crisp lettuce and perfectly seasoned fries on the side. The fried chicken sandwich was a standout; spicy, crispy, saucy, and paired with creamy slaw for the perfect balance. The pizza was classic choice for my kiddo, with the right amount of cheese and sauce. The salmon entrée was beautifully done, served over wild rice and veggies with a flavorful sauce drizzle. Beyond the food, service was friendly and attentive. I recommend stopping in.

What a great spot for some finger foods and drinks! There was a bit of a wait for a table since we had 7 ppl in our group but the wait was shorter than they estimated. It was busy inside but not really bustling. By the end of our meal, there was live music setting up for the rest of the night. The food/drinks were a bit varied. I tried their strawberry rhubarb old fashioned- not great. Their drinks on tap, solid choices. The burgers were a hit! I got the elk burger and it hit the spot for a burger craving. The fries are a bit underwhelming as they're kinda soft and small in quantity. The wings were fine, not enough heat for it to be called mango habanero wings. Overall it was a solid meal but nothing out of the world.

Totally great five star experience here! Chill atmosphere, not crowded and great service. Loved the Christmas lights and wreath around their logo. I had the coffee cake ale which was stellar and my fiancé had the Hunted ale, which he enjoyed a lot. Bartenders were friendly and offered me samples when I was undecided on ales. Bathrooms impeccably clean. We didn't have food here but will definitely be back to try their tasty looking menu!

I love this place! They have a great selection of beer and food, and everything on the menu looked tempting. The space is spacious and beautifully decorated--very stylish. The service was friendly and attentive. We had the pretzel appetizer, an elk burger, and pizza, and everything was delicious. The pretzel was especially amazing, paired perfectly with the beer cheese and honey mustard.

Solid gastropub with all the classic dishes you know and love. Came here twice during our stay in the area and loved the Buffalo Burger w/ fries. Came with brie and blueberry jam which was a bit weird but I tried it. 2nd time had the "French Dip" which should be thin sliced roast beef but instead it was thick steak pieces that didn't quite work. Call it a steak sandwich au jus. As for the beer, I liked their plum sour ale that was good, but only available in cans that day. Hope it's back on tap soon. From my experience and from other reviews, I'd stick with the burgers here.

First, parking is a little confusing especially if there aren't any spots out front or if people are parked so they take up 2 spots. There was parking out back but there was a lot of construction equipment and I don't know if it's staff only parking back there. My service was good, they were fairly busy around dinner time last night. The bartenders were really nice (and they had good hair ‍). However, one of the gentlemen sort of just rinsed his hands after the bathroom and didn't use soap lol I had a flight, with their newly released Lemon Ginger Beer, Ionic Tangerine Sour, Coldhead Oatmeal Stout and a Grapefruit Pale Ale. Very cute presentation - they serve their flights on old barrel planks. I loved the Ionic and the Coldhead, however the Lemon Ginger wasn't it for me. If you're a fan of heavy ginger flavor (think a Libation) this will be right up your alley though. (The spicy margs everyone was ordering looked delicious!) The food was delicious! I tried a soft pretzel with beer cheese and honey mustard. The pretzel was larger than my face and the dips were super tasty. I also had a hand held - I went with their Caprese, added chicken and their truffle fries. Truffle fries were so delicious! The sandwich was also great, their chicken was grilled really nicely with perfect charred ends and the flavors all came together really nicely. The pesto and balsamic reduction complimented the arugula really nicely.

I'm writing this view today because I forgot to post it the other day. I will say that I had the best burger in the Berkshires here at antimony I ordered the Lamberger, which was outstanding! Kye our waitress was awesome and a lot of fun taking out order and giving us recommendations. I ordered a flight of beers enjoying their IPAs. I also ordered the pretzel which was awesome buttery and hot and again their lamb burger was just amazing full of flavor that's gonna be a must when I get home to get some ground lamb excellent since this is a few days ago I don't remember what my friends ordered but trust me, Everything was enjoyed. I highly recommend Antimony!!

As a stand-alone restaurant in Northern Berkshire County ... 2 Stars. As an extension of the Courtyard by Marriott across the street (in the spirit of a hotel restaurant), perhaps 3 stars. Standard pub fare and alike. Did not try the beer as we do not drink alcohol. We wanted wings and burgers and chose to try this place as we knew M&M's, The Old Heritage, and Patrick's would be too busy at 5:30pm and we were in a time crunch. Well, my apologies to the ownership of the aforementioned businesses. You're busy for a reason! If you're up for skiing, it will work. If you're at the hotel, it will more than work. If you love the beer, it may be a great place.

Popped in for lunch and got the bbq brisket with mac 'n cheese with cole slaw. Meat was soft, juicy, and flavorful. I still prefer the brisket that I got in Tennessee. Does this mean that only the South can do brisket well? I don't normally eat mac 'n cheese and wanted to substitute but dining companion wanted it so I kept it in the order. It actually was pretty good.

The hostess and servers were really nice and accommodating. The food was pretty mediocre and overpriced. The pretzel for example was very grainy, dry, and cost over $12. The beer selection was very comprehensive with some excellent choices, from lagers to IPAs and stouts.

Four of us for lunch and everyone was happy. My potstickers were excellent if a trifle overcooked. Salads are enormous. The beers were all delicious. Service was fine. A little noisy but very attractive interior. I would hit this place regularly if I lived nearby.

THE best Reuben I've ever eaten. The meat exquisite! The marble rye fresh and delicious. Get the coleslaw! Perfect! I had a Breakthrough beer and wow flavor of the specialty hops. NOT a loud Atmosphere and Love that about this bar/restaurant. A BIG HIT for us. My fiend loved the Bison burger. And the waitress was excellent.

The historic…read moremansion was recently (beautifully!) renovated to create a cozy bar, various dining spaces, and fireplace lounge seating tucked throughout the rambling first floor rooms, plus elegant sleeping quarters located on the upper floors. We enjoyed dinner before an event, then returned afterward for late-evening cocktails next to the fireplace, and we can attest that there is no other space that feels like Dulu in the entire Lenox/Stockbridge/Lee area! The vibe is classic yet modern, intimate, but also a little bit edgy, with a funky eclectic decor and quiet club music playing in the background - a perfect mix of Berkshires elegance plus contemporary urban sophistication! We shared several items for dinner, and felt that all were well-executed and very enjoyable - including an excellent spice-rubbed shrimp appetizer with fresh green s'chug for dipping, a bright shaved Brussels & manchego salad (which would have benefitted from just a pinch more salt), a perfectly-prepared thick hunk of salmon with crispy skin & bitter greens, and an interesting squash gnocchi with sausage and rosemary (which would have benefitted from a final light splash of acid - perhaps a squeeze of lemon or a few drops of champagne vinegar). Cocktails and wine pairings were EXCELLENT - this bar staff really knows what they're doing! Service was kind and efficient, and we were truly made to feel welcome. Prices are definitely at the higher end, but we felt that the quality of the food and beverages we enjoyed, plus the INCREDIBLE Dulu atmosphere, more than justify the cost. Thank you, Dulu - we will definitely be back!

He served up multiple mocktails and cocktails with aplomb and even pulled off a ginger and lychee combination that shouldn't have worked but was delish. Almost everything else missed the mark. Staff should know to de-vein shrimp before sending out skewers. They should also know what "black and blue" means if they're serving steak. Another table ordered it and five staff members huddled around a phone at the bar to look it up like they were searching for Pokémon. The orecchiette had perfect texture, but truffle oil made half the plate inedible. The Persian crispy rice, the dish I was most looking forward to, was a complete let down. The rice was well cooked, but the eggplant filling was nearly flavorless and the meager amount of smoked tomato couldn't save it. The roasted mushroom board was good though we improved it ourselves by spreading leftover s'chug from the shrimp skewers onto the bread and layering the mushrooms on top. It also had truffle for some reason. Why? Dulu has the right ingredients to be top tier. This just wasn't their night. The bartender rescued the evening. Give that man a raise.

Lenox has some really cool spots and Ombra is one of them. Recommended by a local, we stopped here on Valentine's Day after our dinner for a nice glass of wine. The place was crowded but luckily a few people were leaving so we scored some seats at the bar. I ordered a glass of Nebbiolo from Italy which was good. My husband had a beer. The place is so cute and very romantic with dim lights, a great wine selection and their food looked so good. Unfortunately, we were so full that we did not end up ordering anything. Although, the french fries were calling my name. Ombra is a place that I could see us coming to almost every week and not getting tired of it. We met a local who is very nice and told us how Ombra is very popular. I think we will have to come back in the spring/summer to get those french fries :) If you are ever in Lenox definitely make your way to Ombra for a nice glass of wine or try a cocktail. There are definitely a lot of pros, it was easy to make a reservation, we were promptly seated at a clean and quiet table once we arrived, and the service was overall pretty timely. However, the food and drink left a little bit to be desired. As vegetarians, split a pizza (the olives and mozzarella one) and the kale salad. The salad was fine, but the carrot and tomato was pretty sparse, and the kale felt like nothing had been done to it, like it hadn't been massaged or seasoned or anything so it had a very raw flavor. The pizza was super salty and felt very onenote. It felt like the sauce was a little bit salty, and then the olives, garlic, and oregano were just all very savory. At the end of the night we split a bread pudding for the table, which also wasn't my favorite - the bread was really hard and just hadn't been soaked enough in whatever the flavoring was to mask it. It's possible that they do much better with the meat dishes?

A Valentine's dinner that did not impress!…read more Valentine's has always been a very special holiday for me. My husband and I decided to spend the weekend in the Berkshires, which was lovely and quiet. I made reservations ahead of time for this highly rated wine bar and very close to where we were staying. First off, due to the previous weather/storms they had no street parking. But luckily we parked in a nearby lot. Upon arrival, the restaurant bar area was very nice and romantic. The server brought us to our table but I was a bit disappointed in the ambiance. I mean the bar area was a bit darker and the table that we were being seated at had a lot of light. Now, don't get me wrong, It was Valentine's day which screams romantic and there was no romantic vibe to this restaurant. After mentioning this to our server she did move us and turned down the lights a bit which was much better. Food/Drinks: The menu was not big at all which was nice. I ordered a dirty martini to start which needed more olive juice and my husband ordered a rum cocktail which he enjoyed. For starters, I ordered their Over Roasted Parsnip which was very good and filling. My husband had their Beet Salad which he said was excellent. For entrees, I had their Seared Duck Breast. I really enjoyed the caramel sauce but did not love the duck itself. My husband had the Oven Roasted Chicken Statler which was very dry he could barley eat it. Also, since this is a wine bar I will say the wines were nothing special which was also a bit disappointing. I wish they had something unique and special to offer especially being on a Valentine's Day. I feel this place may be more of a summer destination. Service: Service was excellent I will say. Our server was always asking how things were, checking on us and if we needed anything and asking about any additional drinks. etc. Also, the Manager came over to ask how everything was but he spefically looked at me. I think my husband would've mentioned his meal being dry if he looked at him as well but my husband could've spoken up too. We did say something to our server after she asked about the chicken dish, which they ended up taken off the bill which was very nice. Overall: I didn't love Alta Wine Bar my first time here, but I would come back in the spring or summer months when the weather is warm to try it again. Cheers~

They always have a great lineup of classical as well as popular artists. I go regularly in the summers for concerts, and usually sit in the hall, but this time I enjoyed a wonderful concert on the lawn with my extended family. People really go all out setting up their picnics! Definitely get there a couple of hours early if you want to snag a prime and shady spot, especially if it's a popular artist. (Lawn tix are free for kids under 18!) You can bring your own food and drinks, or there are dining options on premises, and you can even order a picnic-to-go in advance online. Bring all the accoutrements to make your setup as comfy as possible - lawn chairs, picnic blankets, cooler, shade umbrella, misting fan, maybe a candelabra lol. The lawn is beautifully kept and lush & green. On this occasion we saw the powerhouse quartet of Emanuel Ax, Leonidas Kavakos, Yo-Yo Ma, and Antoine Tamestit performing an all-Beethoven program. The music was transcendent and the weather was luckily perfect, and it was a pleasurable way to spend an afternoon. Again, I stipulate arriving 1-2 hours early, more if you want time to tour the sprawling grounds properly. There will be a traffic jam leading up to the parking lot, and parking can take a while (though very organized). It is beautifully kept, it's a lot of giant shade trees under which you'll find hundreds of people enjoying pic pics as they watch and listen to the music on good screens with terrific outdoor speakers. The Saturday morning rehearsals are not nearly as crowded as the concerts, so our photos show how much room there for everyone (little ones are welcome outdoors, too). Bring your own picnic or buy snacks on site (you can also purchase rather expensive seated meals as well). There's a beer garden if you prefer alcoholic beverages like beer, wine and cocktails. Finally there's a cute gift shop on premises for Tanglewood-logo items. Lastly, our small complaint. Tanglewood is not inexpensive. It's not necessarily out of line compared to other summer musical events, but concert tickets can run well over $100 (less for the lawn, of course). Our three rehearsal tickets in the shed were $56 each with as $27 handling fee (what that is). That seems a bit excessive and may keep some people away, though again lawn seats are less pricey. That's our opinion, anyway.
