Great experience here. The owner Anthony does a great job every time. His prices are very reasonable. $10 a pair of pants without a cuff $18 a pair with a cuff. Excellent turn around times!! His shop is located on foothills Blvd. In the same strip mall as beach hut, right in between the dry cleaners and soon to come portors house house of draft. Oh, I love the extremely clean work place. No joke, Anthony's is THE best place for tailoring your clothes. I have been going to Anthony's for 5 years now and he is awesome. After a while, when he hiked his prices up I was on the hunt once more for another alteration place, to see if they are any cheaper. I called around and about 95% of those I spoke to did not even know what "taper" is. WTF!? I normally come here to get my jeans hemmed and tapered, and even though it's a bit pricey (tapering = $20, hemming = $12) my loyalties will always be to Anthony's Tailoring. The store itself is clean and welcoming, and it smells really good in there too =) Besides the store passing the attraction factor, Anthony himself is very kind and totally understands what you want done. I've never had to write a bad review of a business before and it makes me so sad to! I went here to get a $350 bridesmaids dress fitted. I needed the top taken in a lot, and the hem trimmed an inch or so. Seems like an easy fix for a tailor, right? Well when I went 7 days later to pick up my dress they made the dress so small and so short. I couldn't zip it or wear the heels I planned to wear with the dress. I panicked as the seamstress rolled her eyes & told me she didn't think she could fix it. I threw a little fit because I needed this dress for a wedding 3 days later, so they attempted to fix it. When I went back, my dress was back to being too big (so big the top falls down). And Anthony said he didn't know why the dress was too short because he measured me. For $85 of alterations, my $350 dress was ruined & they didn't offer a refund, own up to making a mistake, or offer an apology. :( read more

I have always been pleased with Anthony's in the past and have recommended them numerous times. The results were fabulous and the pricing reasonable. Unfortunately, that seems to have changed. The results are still fabulous, but $70 to hem a dress and add a couple of hooks is outrageous. read more

Came here to get my military uniform done. Cost $5 per patch which was awesome, best part is it's literally 2 mins away from my house . They were really quick about everything I was in and out no more than 5 mins. Looking forward to seeing how they do alterations. read more

I'm from out of town, here visiting friends for a week. I brought along a pair of Levi's that had just arrived minutes before I left for the airport from Amazon. I go to put my new Levi's on and Darn!! They needed to be shortened- now what to do...? My friends, who are new to the area had no idea where to send me. So I got on Yelp, checked for the closest tailor and made a few calls. When a friendly lady from Anthony's answered the phone, saying "yes" bring them in we can help you I did and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of knowledge and customer service! This store is a "must" in your contacts list. The seamstress shortened my Levi's as I waited. It was less than 10 minutes and I was out the door! Our family (my husband, my parents, and I) have been going to Anthony for years and the service has always been great. We've always been happy with his work (which has included a wide variety of things over the years) - but I am writing this because he went so far above and beyond for me today that I needed to share! I'm starting a new job and just found out Thursday that I'm needed in San Francisco tomorrow/Sunday for 5 days of meetings where formal business attire is expected (something I don't have much of given I've worked out of my house for the past 10 years). So I brought a number of garments to Anthony yesterday, hoping I could possibly pick up one or two today before I have to leave tomorrow morning. When I went in this morning to pick those up, however, he told me that ALL of my 6 pieces were ready instead of just the 2 I had expected!
