Great place to take a date or come with visiting family or friends. They offer a a fantastic view of the Spokane Falls from every part of the house. Best seating would be out on the outdoor patio during the better weather days. They offer free valet parking but parking in the lots near by aren't expensive either. Prices are like any other seafood house but they offer more than just seafood. Service was very friendly. Drinks were good! They do have a happy hour for those who don't want a late dinner or happen to be watching their finances. All in all...not outstanding but pretty darn good. It's first come first serve, so if you want to be seated outdoors, you just provide your name and wait until something comes up. If I went back to Spokane, I'd go for the happy hour. read more

This is an update from my previous review. I just wanted to say that this time, was a complete and total turnaround. The general manager, Andrew Miller was a complete gentleman and made sure that we had a second chance at this restaurant. I had the crab cakes and my fiancé had the halibut. The food was cooked to perfection and our waiter was very timely. For drinks, I had the Manhattan and my fiancé had a pomegranate drop. Both drinks were amazing and the service equaled it. This place will be revisited due to the great service and the upmost courtesy of the management. Please give this place a try if you're in the area. You won't regret it! read more

Ouch. There's some brutal reviews on here. I'm wondering how legit many of them are. The few times I've been here we haven't had any issues and while it's not the greatest location in the chain, let me ask you where you're going to find better seafood and a better view in landlocked Spokane? Sure, this location isn't as good as say the ones along Puget Sound, but it's blows Red Lobster away with prices that aren't much higher, service that's a world better and taste that's on another level. This place remains the go-to seafood place in Spokane and that isn't likely to change anytime soon. Sure, it isn't cheap, but you came here for seafood, not hot dogs. Look at what you are getting, take into account the view, the falls, location, the quality of food you are getting and you'll surely understand why things cost what they do here. And, remember, you're in Spokane. Tone down you're expectations a bit and you'll enjoy every bite. read more

Well this is my last evening here in Spokane and there was no better place to take in the breath taking view of the rushing waters over the river bank and enjoy great company with one of my cohorts and great food. So, I will start by saying I did not have a reservation but I would highly recommend reservations if you plan on sitting anywhere near the window with the best view. They do have outdoor seating which in good weather is absolutely the best place to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and listen to the roar of the running River. Although they do not have a large menu I will say that they have a great mocktail and cocktail menu and small wine list by the glass but a much larger selection when it comes to bottled wines. Their appetizer selections range from garlic and wine mussels to a spinach crab and artichoke dip and oysters on the half shell. They have surf and turf options pastors and their specialty seems to lean towards fish as they have over nine selections to choose from. I have to give our waitress Tara a shout out. She absolutely made the evening even more enjoyable with her warm attentive personality and so accommodating to make sure our food was to our liking I personally ordered a 7 ounce top sirloin steak and substituted the coconut battered shrimp for a grilled garlic scampi as well as having the spinach artichoke dip which I thought was cooked to perfection with crispy sourdough bites for dipping. The steak was cooked to perfection the butterflied shrimp or seasoned and grilled to perfection and I am particularly like the potato wedges it was served with that had a salty sweet flavor to them was a nice touch. Do you spare keys were definitely over cooked and honestly I could've sent them back and I'm quite sure I could've had them to my liking but the rest of the meal was so amazing I didn't bother with it. As for the desserts I can't speak highly enough about the chocolate molten cake which takes approximately 15 minutes to make as it is done fresh to order. They have a nice open bar and this place is great for date night group settings or even just dinner for one it is definitely the highlight restaurant of my trip here to Spokane and I will definitely look forward to coming again. Food: Some hits Service: Friendly and prompt Price: The sunset dinner 4 course menu is unbeatable Having just returned from Australia, we had acquired critical taste for fresh seafood - so walked in wary, but with a positive attitude, as I had heard good things about Anthony's. The $18.95 prix fixe 4-course sunset meal (4-6PM) is definitely a steal. 1st course: Shrimp cocktail. I expected large shrimp, but they were the mini versions atop a bed of chopped celery. The shrimp was fresh, but the cocktail sauce was too thick for my liking. B+ 2nd course: Clam chowder. Delicious. Hearty with lots of potatoes and chunks of fresh-tasting clams. Good flavor. A 3rd course: Main entree. I got the fresh Trout pan-fried with butter. Nicely cooked and flavored. A. I have to give the rice and veggies a B-, though, for the lack of flavor (and the rice was crunchy at times) 4th course: Creme Brulee. Not too sweet nor custard too thick. A I also sampled: 1. The salmon: very good, cooked on a plank. 2. The fresh rockfish: fresh, but didn't like the cajun sauce 3. The Australian lobster tail: fresh, juicy, nicely flavored. The best seafood in Spokane? Likely The best seafood value in Spokane? I'm sure. You can obviously get better farther west, but it won't get better than this for seafood in Spokane. I don't recommend this restaurant if you are here for anything other than the view of the falls. We were seated at 5:30, then ignored for 15 minutes After we finally ordered, we ignored for 45 minutes and when we finally got our waitress' attention, we were told the delay was caused because they ran out of chowder. I am not sure how a seafood house runs out of chowder, but they did. Bottom line is that after an hour and a half, all we had eaten was a couple pieces of bread and finally our chowder. It took a full two hours to get our food because the kitchen was understaffed. The food was severely undercooked as I am sure they were rushing. We used to love this place. The trout was crisp, tender, and flaky. Accompanied by fresh green beans done to perfection and rice, fluffy and tasty. My companion had the prawn bowl with Jasmine rice, greens, and a sugared pastry. The prawns were coated with coconut and a sweet sauce added just the right note. I'm going to be honest. You're paying for an experience. Husband and I came Bc we heard how wonderful this place was and I hate to say it, but we were underwhelmed. The server was really nice, and the dessert was great. But the food was maybe slightly above average? I got the clam chowder and seafood fettuccine, husband got the oysters on the half shell and king salmon. We agreed both entrees could've easily been made at home and tasted much better the oysters were completely flavorless and wildly underwhelming. . . for $120 (before the tip,) I feel like our dinner for 2 could've stood out a bit more. The view was nice, the clam chowder and cheesecake were great. That's the only thing we'd ever come back for though. read more

Our BCI Bicycle Club was in town from Southern California and quite a few of us ate here. Some ate here several times. We went for lunch and found their prices to be quite reasonable. They even have a $10 lunch menu. My husband had the clam chowder and blackened Rockfish Combination. He thought the clam chowder was good and the rockfish blackened taco was very good. He thought the salsa that came with the taco could've been a little more flavorful. I had the crab and artichoke toast with coleslaw. It was a nice warm sandwich and it was excellent. The coleslaw Was also very refreshing. It was kind of like an Asian slaw. We arrived a little after 1 PM so the restaurant wasn't too busy. They were so nice to let us take our bicycles through the dining room and onto the patio that overlooks the water. We had a delightful lunch and could've sat on the patio all day. They also were nice and asked if we wanted separate checks. The customer service was terrific. read more

Went here on a Wednesday night for dinner and drinks. Ordered Alaskan cod fish and chips. Both the fish and fries were flavorless and under cooked. Had the Peach slump for desert which was also flavorless. Definitely over priced for the food quality. The Irish pub down the street has much better food, including the fish and chips. read more

Our service was impeccable. When we sat down our server took our drink orders then said she had to go to a quick meeting so it would be a couple of minutes. I thought that was odd as I have never heard that before at a restaurant. Sure enough it was a few minutes longer than normal. After that she was very attentive and we never waited for a drink to be refilled and the various items of the meal came at the perfect time. You can't beat the view sitting outside at the falls. We came straight from work so we got an early bird special. I have never seen shrimp cocktail with the tiny shrimp before. I'm used to it being 2-4 larger shrimp that can be dipped into the cocktail sauce. The clam Chowder was EXCELLENT. Tons of clams, great flavor. My Salmon was very good but once again the shrimp topping was the small sized shrimp instead of what I would normally see at a restaurant. To cap things things off for desert I had the burnt cream. Normally the topping on Creme Brule is crunch whereas this was just sugar on top of custard. The custard itself is very good. We paid $21 for the special and I thought that was a good deal and the food was good but I wasn't blown away by the meal like I expected to be at Anthonys. read more

Tim is absolutely the best!!!!! He was so on tops of everything all night! Probably checked in 8-10 times and was hustling the whole time on a super busy night. Anthony's is amazing! I absolutely love this place. The seafood here is to die for. Between the three people in our party last night for dinner, we had cedar plank grilled salmon, alaskan cod, and giant prawns. Also had crab cake and calamari appetizers. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. The service was fantastic. It's a slower pace because it's fine dining so don't expect to be in and out of there in an hour. I'll be back in June for Copper River. read more

Got here early enough to find parking in the tiny lot (no valet service yet, due to COVID restrictions) and found excellent service, lovely view of the falls, and wonderful fish and chips. I knocked off a point because my 'shrimp scampi' were very much overcooked - tasty, but tough. I can't say enough about the amazing asparagus appetizer, though. And two of us shared the generous Caesar salad which was perfect. COVID practices in place made us so happy to be able to get out to eat once again, while still feeling safe. read more

I actually did the restaurants survey a few weeks back and was hoping to hear from them, but never got a response. We wanted to go to this restaurant because it was recommended by a few friends and also because there were several gluten free options for my sister-in-law to choose from. She tried to order the Pan Fried Willapa Bay Oysters, which on the menu says GF. The waitress told her that they didn't have the gluten free flour so she shouldn't order it. Why put it on the menu then if you can't offer it as GF? We then ordered the Seared Wild Poke for our appetizer, which also says it was GF. Waitress brought it out and said I don't know if you want this but this is not GF. She explained that they changed the sauce and it's not GF. Why didn't she tell this to us before we ordered it? And again, why would you put this on the menu when it clearly says it's GF and it's not????? We sent it back. My husband and I both ordered seafood pastas. It was just ok, but for the price we expected better! We were all very disappointed in the food. This is an expensive restaurant and we had high expectations because of the recommendations and expected the GF food because it's on the menu. This place is way over rated!!! Food is just average and way overpriced! What your paying for is the view. If you want really good food seafood, go elsewhere. read more

Had dinner here tonite with the family. My wife, son and daughter ordered off of their pre-fixed menus. I ordered ala carte. Wife, son and daughter all chose grilled salmon. My wife and son's came topped with Bay shrimp and lemon butter sauce. My daughter had a plain lemon and butter sauce sans shrimp. They loved their main courses! For appetizers my wife had the shrimp cocktail, son had salmon Crostini and my daughter has the calamari. They all enjoyed their appetizers! The calamari was very good! Instead of just being dredged in plain flour and then deep fried, they were dredged in a spicy seasoned flour and then deep fried. Excellent!! I had a mixed seafood salad that had crab, shrimp, eggs, tomatoes and other assorted items. It was delicious. For dessert we had the creme brûlée, chocolate sundae and a chocolate cherry sundae. All were delicious!! We left very very full of delicious food. The service was wonderful!! Very attentive!! Arrive here hungry and leave here full of delicious wonderful food. The view is great! Their signature lemonade is delicious! And even better if you get a shot of vodka in it! So refreshing on a hot summer day. The food was not so great. I had the tomato bisque and blackened fish tacos. My tomato bisque was cold. I thought maybe it was supposed to be like that, but then as I kept eating it, I would get some warm bites then cold again. Very strange. The blackened fish tacos were meh. I took one bite and didn't eat anymore. The tortilla was huge compared to the small amount of fish I received in it. And the fish seemed more burnt or caked in seasoning than blackened. I asked to get avocado on the tacos, and it was $3! Holy cow! That's a lot for avocado. I can get a whole large avocado here in California for $2. Good thing I passed on the avocado because I didn't like or eat my taco anyways. I would go back just for the lemonade! The waitress was great, too. read more

So a few friends and I decided to take a spontaneous night out for a dinner and a movie! I will say that this restaurant gave us a great experience and catered to our needs. Quick synopsis: Food was delicious and the service was excellent! Very much enjoyed our view of where we were seated. In addition, the service will tailor the meal time based on our needs. So let's go in depth: Food: We started off with ordering our wine, Barrister Cabernet Franc, which was absolutely delightful! It paired well with all my dishes. It comes recommended by the server. The appetizers we ordered Calamari and Dungeness Crab Cakes. I will say that crab cakes were delicious, but were small in portion (only 2) and a tad expensive for the taste and portion size. I usually don't eat calamari, but since one of my friends ordered it, I thought I'd try it. And I will say the calamari was quite delicious. I will say that the calamari was crunch, not overly oily, and just write for an appetizer. In addition to the starters, I had the restaurants clam chowder. The chowder was on point and it was delicious. I have been craving a good clam chowder and I found it. As for main dishes, we ordered the fish and chips and the surf and turf dish. I ended up eating the surf and turf. The presentation of the dish was not great. For such an expensive dish and also a delicious dish, the presentation was upsetting. We did get dessert, but I can't remember what we ordered. Ambiance: The environment was absolutely fitting for such a beautiful restaurant on the waterfront. We had been sat next to the windows next to the Spokane Falls. It was a beautiful setting. The lighting was perfect, not overpowering and just a mellow setting, which is what we were seeking. The seats and table setting was fit for a night of fine dining. Service: I very much enjoyed the service the restaurant provided. When we pulled into the restaurant, we were greeted with a complimentary valet. Then when we walked in, we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Our server was great and I would definitely ask for him again. Our server recommended a great wine and thoughts on the dishes. The one thing I appreciated with our server was, as much as he was trained to serve us in orderly and timely fashion, he served us in a quick speed because we wanted to make sure we did not miss a movie. Our server was able to get all our dishes out and we had enough time for dessert. I would definitely recommend going to this restaurant if you want a nice night out. The food was very good here and the view is phenomenal. Unfortunately the service was terrible. The server, Kalef barely spoke, never removed our wine glasses, and for a birthday didn't even bring a bowl of ice cream with a candle. This place appears to be fine dining, for 4 of us the bill was almost $170 which for this area isn't super cheap. So they should get their act together when it comes to hiring an appropriate level of professional employee. I don't know if I would come back when neighbor Clinkerdagger also has a view, but comes with 5 star service. read more

Lunch on Monday and dinner two nights later (Valentines Day). Both days the food and service was excellent (start with a bowl of their tomato basil soup it is rich & delicious!). The views are amazing even sitting in the bar area. We were greeted and seated quickly (though having several employees grouped around the front desk, chatting, is probably not the first thing I would want patrons to see if this were my restaurant). That said, Anthony's staff and servers were on point from the time we were seated until we left - and our server (Slate?)was also making drinks yet was always there if we even "thought" about needing something, so we will definitely be back! read more

I was in for lunch on a Sunday to celebrate a big birthday and the staff was amazing, from host to servers and in between. Not only was the seafood fresh and delicious, the view was amazing and it was the best experience for the birthday girl - she definitely felt special thanks to the wonderful staff. The molten chocolate cake might have been the highlight of her day, but the Dungeness crab sandwich was a close second! Good food is one thing but kindness and quality service is quite the frosting on top! read more

I will never go there again. We used the valet service to park our car and it came back with front end damage that is nearly $1000 in repair costs. My car did not have ANY damage when we went inside for dinner. It was dark when we left and I didn't walk around the car to inspect it, I didn't think I needed to do that. We drove home and the 4 of us in the car know we did not hit a thing! I went to pull out of my driveway the next morning...., front bumper of the passenger side is smashed in. They denied the claim... no witnesses. Most expensive bowl of clam chowder EVER. Own your mistakes, they happen!! I am sure the valet who hit something with my car was afraid to lose his job, but not being honest or doing the right thing is never worth your integrity!!! read more

We spent our 58th Anniversary there last week. We had a front and center spot on the patio thanks to our caring hostess. Our server, Joel, was so accommodating and checked on us often.
