We came for a lazy Sunday dinner and were pleasantly surprised with our meals. The food was tasty and fresh. Very flavorful and perfect for a cozy Sunday. Our waiter suggested the entrees that we chose and he couldn't be more spot on. We sat outside and the set up was super cute with floral arrangements and intimate little tables. Will definitely be back!

Went to Anthony David's for brunch with my parents and had a really good experience. We had an outdoor reservation (definitely recommend one if you're going on a Sunday it was packed and I didn't see many open tables inside or out). Even though it was a hot day, the patio had plenty of shade and it's a nice spot right off Washington Street. Service was great, our server was super attentive. I started with a mimosa, which was good but had a ton of pulp (never seen that in a mimosa before). Not a dealbreaker, but I'm not a pulp person. The iced coffee was really solid though. For food, I got the Southwestern omelet with potatoes. The omelet itself was on the smaller side, so if you come hungry, maybe go for something more filling but the potatoes were excellent. They had a little spice to them, tossed in sauce, and weren't dry at all. Easily some of the best breakfast potatoes I've had. We also split the bourbon-glazed donuts, which were the highlight of the meal. Think munchkin-style, but with a strong bourbon kick in the glaze. Sweet, bold, and honestly the best thing we ordered. Overall, good vibes, good service, and tasty food--just wish the omelet portions were a bit bigger. Would definitely come back, especially for those donuts.

I will come to AD just for their challah French toast over and over again. Great brunch, great service. Fyi in the summer time their outside sidewalk seating is done beautifully, must make a reservation.

It is not a trip to Hoboken without stopping at Anthony David's for brunch! This has been one of my favorite go to places for easily 6-7 years now. Reservations are a must even on weekdays! It is always packed and especially on weekends. Their service is always phenomenal making sure you have fresh drinks and a full glass of water. I highly recommend the mimosas as they are made with fresh orange juice which makes a huge difference in flavor! I highly recommend you get their bourbon glazed donuts to start. They are deliciously fluffy and packed with flavor. I always order the French toast with their famous coconut butter. The bread is perfectly crisp and fluffy making it delicious French toast! I always get a side of their crispy bacon and well done home fries as well. My friend ordered their egg platter and she was throughly impressed as the portion size and how good everything was. They have inside and outside seating. The indoor seating can be a bit cramped depending on where you are seated. It's a cute homey boutique old world feel inside and I highly recommend you check it out if you are in the Hoboken area!

Went to lunch at Anthony David's with my sister the other day. It was an interesting experience. We sat outside, and since tables are tight, we got lunch and a show. Unfortunately, the couple next to us seemed to be having some problems, and by the end of the soap opera of an argument, it seems like they'll be going their separate ways. I say all this to warn to be prepared to be neighbors with the tables next to you. However, now for the food! It's a cute little brunch/lunch spot. I wasn't really expecting much, but the sandwiches were pretty good! We definitely both finished our dishes. She got the burrata panini, which came with prosciutto, burrata, arugula, and I believe a balsamic dressing. I got the crabcake sandwich which came with some kind of aïoli and a brioche bun. Both were excellent. I will say, though they need to pull it back on the dressing on the salads. Or maybe put it on the side. I couldn't even eat my salad because the dressing tasted like straight vinegar. It was pungent lol. The fresh orange juice was great, however, if you intend to get the 5 ounce don't let them talk you into a 12 ounce haha. Fresh squeezed is so rich and sweet, that a 5 ounce would've been plenty. I would be happy to come here again!

Service was great - food/drinks came out in a timely manner & staff was kind. Food was very good (brunch) & loved that drinks were served in wine glasses. Was a little nervous abt the cost of brunch online, but you get a very large serving! Not listed on the menu, but the have gluten free bread available!! Decor is nice inside, especially when decorated for the winter holidays!

This has become my favorite casual spot in Hoboken for brunch and dinner. The service is always solid and the food is delicious. I really like the wild boar ragu with pappardelle for dinner, and the pistachio gelato is a great way to end the meal. For brunch I'd recommend the spicy chorizo eggs benedict. I will definitely be back for more!

We came for the star of the show--the coconut butter French toast--and it did not disappoint. But the real surprise was the Bell & Evans Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The breading was perfectly golden, light, and crunchy, yet packed with flavor. It doesn't come with a sauce, but I added mayo and a side of chipotle aioli, which only took it to the next level (though honestly, it's fantastic even without--this is just coming from a self-proclaimed saucy girl). The restaurant itself is adorable, the service warm and attentive, and both the cappuccino and freshly squeezed OJ were excellent. This was my second visit, and it's safe to say I'll be coming back again and again. I also love that they do brunch all week and dinner.

    Crab Cake Benedict

Yikes... I am not sure where to begin... This brunch was definitely lackluster from start to finish - seating to food to leaving. The crab cake Benedict was okay, nothing to write home about or worth going again. Service was very poor, almost like we were forgotten or an inconvenience... maybe because we were a party of 5? Maybe worth a try... but I'm sure there's other places.

5 stars for an 11am brunch for 7 people. We were seated outdoors and there was no wait, although the tables began filling up. Steady stream of diners but it seemed that the line was moving. Our meals: Espresso donuts drizzled with mocha syrup and sugar Apple cider donuts with cinnamon and sugar -dense and a slight crunch on the outside. Perfect starter for brunch. Smoked salmon Benedict Lobster eggs Benedict Crispy bacon on French toast Benedict Spicy chorizo eggs Benedict - all our meals were rich in flavor and filling. Plates came with house potatoes which were phenomenal. Seasoned well and tender, mixed in with peppers as well. It wasn't "just a side" but made the meal complete. Our friends enjoyed their americanos, lattes, and cappuccinos. Service was friendly and fast, even though we took our time savoring both our food and conversation. We were seated outdoors in 55 degrees and we were comfortable. Walkable to the waterfront parks and Washington Ave to sightsee and walk the calories off :)

This place is exceptional a perfect spot to have a romantic date night or a quick bite to eat! I started off with a Mojito in the house with ricotta, which came with toasted bread, delicious! Then I had the couch with Pepe, but I asked to have it was spaghetti, and it was super delicious and creamy, then I had the roasted chicken with crispy potatoes, and they were absolutely fantastic! Then I had to smoke on the Hudson, which was a beautiful drink and equally delicious. I am in my night with the donuts which are made to order!

This was our first time in Hoboken. We had a fantastic breakfast at Anthony David's in Hoboken! The food was not only great but also visually appealing and well-cooked. Each dish we ordered was delicious, making it a real treat. The service was excellent, with our food arriving quickly and the staff being incredibly friendly. Our waitress, Nicole, stood out for her exceptional service. She noticed that my espresso didn't look quite right and promptly brought over a fresh one without us having to ask. This attention to detail really enhanced our experience. Overall, we highly recommend Anthony David's for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast spot in Hoboken!

Made a reservation and once we got there we actually had to look for someone to get us a table , place looks nice but the tables are in awkward places and in the way of the waitresses . Our Waitress Jen was THE BEST .. very funny and pleasant , she quickly took our order and was very attentive . The food was good however it wasn't served hot , it was more like room temperature. The mimosa was good but definitely needed a bit more alcohol , tasted more like orange juice with a splash of Prosecco. Bathroom was ok but not the cleanest , specially at that one of the day . It was early and it should have been in a better condition .

What's the difference between indoor dining, dining room, and front room dining options on resy?

    How do I make a reservation for brunch?Mothers Day May 9 2 people 11am

I think it's too late at this point because there is no slot on Resy. You should have made a reservation at least a week in advance even on normal weekends. You'd have to show up and prepare to wait over an hour or two and not sure if that's…

Do they have heat lamps for outdoor seating?

    Not yet. But planning to.

Hi is there outdoor setting, if so, is it by reservation (thank you)?

Yes there is outdoor seating and they accept reservations!

Are there bloody Mary's at brunch?

    I believe it's BYOB!

    Is this a BYOB restaurant?

    yes!

The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

I was a big fan of both, especially the ricotta, which was so incredibly creamy. For the mains, everyone's fresh-made pasta was excellent. I ordered the Mexican street corn, which was unique, flavorful, and delicious. I also tried some of the spicy rigatoni and loved it. We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. Ultimately, they weren't able to recover it, but the food itself was still outstanding.

The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We started with the French onion soup, although it arrived at the same time as our entrees instead of beforehand. Even so, it ended up being my favorite dish of the meal. Rich and flavorful. For my entree, I ordered the steak and eggs. It was decent, but the quality of the steak wasn't quite what I expected. My mom had the chicken salad, which she said was satisfying, and my husband ordered the eggs, ham, toast and French fries, a solid classic breakfast that he enjoyed. The menu we had was specific to the tasting even but all made by the same everyday chef. The second course was halibut with risotto and crab and there was so much meatiness. It was my favorite place and the flavors went so well together. Next was grilled oysters and I've never liked oysters but these were amazing! The bacon and breadcrumbs that had a slight lemon flavor went so well with the oysters. Next was lamb loin with stewed white beans and carrots. The lamb was medium rare, I could have skipped the beans but that's me. The house salad was $13 and honestly one of the most basic, smallest, and most boring salads I've ever had--very underwhelming for the cost. We also ordered quesadillas, a cheeseburger with fries, and grilled cheese with tomato soup. My son enjoyed the burger and fries, and the quesadillas were flavorful, generously filled with chicken and veggies, and came with sour cream, pico, and guac. The tomato soup was tasty, while the grilled cheese was just okay. One small but appreciated detail: canned soda. Cold, crisp, and not flat which is always a win.
