We have eaten here multiple times and always enjoy ourselves. You can't seem to order the wrong thing here, as is it all pretty much sinfully delicious. I definitely recommend the beignets. I could eat a bucket of that orange sweet stuff that comes with them. The cinnamon roll French toast is outrageously good and the Skinny Omelette is a great option if you are trying to watch your calories. Also, here's a boozy tip: if you are craving champagne but not a mimosa, go ahead and order a glass. It'll be cheaper than the mimosa is. Not sure why that is, but I'll take it every time. read more

I had this place on my bookmarks for a while, but never in the area. When my girlfriend had suggested brunch and going to a bike shop I was in. Checking into the queue on Yelp, we were able to be seated right away. Which is always a nice feeling. When we sat to peruse the menu, I noticed quite a few options to try. The two I ultimately had to choose between were the Lobster Brie Omelet or the Crab Cake Benedict. Hardest choice ever! I had to ask the waitress, who asked how hungry I was as the omelet is made with three eggs. Subsequently, I choose the omelet. My girlfriend had the chocolate waffles. They looked very filling. All and all, it was a great meal and the service was spot on as well. I would go back. read more

First let me say this review is for the food, not the service here. The server I had this morning, Taylor, was awesome and did all he could to give me the best experience possible. The food I ordered however, was disappointing. I love Huevos Rancheros. I've ordered it all over the country and ordered it this morning. Based on the photos I saw on the reviews, it looks like they changed the way they put it together. In some Yelp photos I saw TWO crispy tortillas. In others I saw tortilla chips scattered around as the base. While I love the crispy, stacked tortillas, usually filled with beans or salsa and such, I don't like the "nacho" chip presentation I got this morning. On top of that, there was very little salsa so the whole dish was really dry, lacking flavor and any kind of kick. I did eat the eggs, they were cooked well, and some of the salsa I could find. I also ordered a side of avocado since it always goes great with this dish, but the avocado served was hard with little flavor, not yet ripe. I sent this side back and Taylor took the avocado off my check. Oh yeah, I tried to get a latte too but they were out of espresso and offered a coffee instead (small point). A woman seated near me got the pancakes, eggs and bacon. Her dish looked great to me (I was very jealous :) and she cleaned her plate. So my suggestion is to come here for the great service (Thank YOU Taylor) and some other typical breakfast dishes. Just don't get the Huevos R or you'll probably be disappointed. read more

This place sucks. They sat me and my family down and no one came over for until 15 minutes later. I order the shrimp and grits. The grits were cold and the shrimp were over cooked smh. Also ordered a pitcher of the strawberry st. Germain mimosa. Which was water down, never again will I attend this place. But it gets worse I forgot my glasses and a lighter on the table the places wasn't even busy. I came back for it just for them to tell me they saw it but they can't locate at the time, but leave us your name and number we will give you a call once we locate it again. Like WTF. Amazing brunch place. My family and I brunched here when they visited. The staff was especially kind to my grandmother, she only speaks Spanish so it can take extra patience for waiters to properly serve her. The breakfast drink cocktails were delicious, I got to try a few since we all ordered something different. They were also very understanding about my food allergies (I'm allergic to milk, eggs, cheese and nuts). They were able to quickly customize my order. Even though it was a busy day the food and service were great. It was also our first visit so we got a free apple fritters. read more

So apparently you need to use the app NoWait instead of calling here to ensure that you don't get stuck for hours waiting on a table. Interesting. Made it there on Saturday for 10:30 brunch and was seated with my friends at a booth. Our server Genevieve came by quickly and brought out the waters while I sat and waited for my friends to arrive. Once our drinks were decided and orders taken it was catch up time. The place was packed with families and like minded friends eating and hanging out. I ordered the strawberry lemonade sparkler ($6.99) and opted for the classic bacon burger since it was closer to lunch by then ($9.69). That drink (which has Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, Strawberry REÀL, Wycliff Champagne and fresh strawberries) was tasty and good but quite sweet.. which is funny because I like sweet but then there's "holy crap sugar rush!". The burger was two thin slices of meat and cheese with an overly cooked piece of bacon, thinly sliced red onions, two thick tomato slices and this huge piece of lettuce. The side order of country potatoes were really yummy while the bacon burger was mediocre at best. The meat was not seasoned much. read more

This is an incredible brunch spot! We had an amazing time with friends. Our server, Eric was excellent. He catered to our large group with such grace. He helped us make great choices that were absolutely delicious. He was patient as well. We can't wait to return! I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, grits with cheese, homemade sausage, and scrambled egg whites. My friends were more adventurous than me. I tasted crab cakes benedict and it was delicious! My daughter had been wanting to go to another broken egg for a couple of weeks so we brought her for a birthday breakfast celebration. I read the reviews and saw the wait times were a constant complaint, but figured a Thursday morning vs the weekend wouldn't be a problem. Boy, was I wrong. To be fair they had seated a giant party, but the rest of the restaurant suffered. All staff except one was taking care of the large party (which was ridiculously loud and ruined the experience on their own; not the restaurants fault, however). Our server, Donna, was racing trying to do everything on her own. Three tables were sat after us. We expected a delay, but 45!!!!! Minutes and no food I finally got the manager involved-all three tables sat after us had been served. Our food came at about that time. I had to send my eggs back because they were dry and plastic-y. My fruit was disgusting. My husband's food was cold. The manager did take his food off our bill, but there is no way I would ever return for such terrible quality at the prices they charge. Pictures show the advertised pancakes I ordered and what I was served. Our server did the best she could, the kitchen and management should be ashamed. read more

Incredible! Went on a brief trip to Florida and while searching for a nice brunch place, I found this lovely spot. Got the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and oh my goodness it was AMAZING. It was so warm and sweet. I've never seen this served anywhere else and it was even better than I expected. Also, the raspberry iced tea was great. My boyfriend got the Eggs Benedict with fresh orange juice and said he really enjoyed his meal as well! Overall, would most definitely recommend this spot and I will be revisiting if in the area again. read more

We saw it was packed so headed for the bar. Luckily someone had just left so my husband and I climbed up on comfortable bar stools with backs. The menu is very metropolitan and reasonably priced. Someone got a Bloody Mary and it was LOADED with a garden of veggies. They've got mimosas and full bar. Melissa greeted us with a sweet enthusiasm that made the prelude to the food all the more delicious. We got my drinks quick after she wiped my counter with an alcohol wipe. Meryem came over and had equal enthusiasm and a sweet smile and took her time explaining the food since we were first timers here. My choice was the carrot and walnut pancakes with the cream cheese icing. My husband got the southwestern (dug in to fast for a photo... potato are not fresh made and seemed previously frozen so I'd skip those at 4.00 a side) husband's omelet was slightly spicy (that we were warned has a bit of heat). The food was delicious the service was perfect and we'd recommend come by any Saturday you'll get these delightful ladies and delicious food. Nice way to start our day! read more

Normally I go right as they open on a weekend, or before the lunch crowd on weekdays. Did regular lunch on a Friday and it was loud (the reason I docked the point). It seemed unusual, but with most restaurants these days, it seems common. Open aired layouts without sound dampeners and full venues do not conversations make. As for the food, always great. They have a unique selection of breakfast and lunch offerings that are elevated versions of standards. Never had a bad meal. A bit pricey, but everything is fresh and the service is always top notch. Drinks are always filled and accommodations for allergies always met. Will I go back, yes, but I need to choose a less busy time. As for when that might be, these days, that's hard to tell. I'm glad they are doing so good, as I want them to stick around. Might just do take out next time if I see it is busy. read more

This is an updated review for Sunday, December 17th 2017 Visited another broken egg in winter park on Sunday December 17th for our first all girls 4 generations brunch. My sister made the "reservation" on their app; however, we called in because the app allows you to put max 6 people. We called in to make sure the restaurant had the correct number of adults and children. We arrived at 10am per our app; and we still had to wait an additional 20 minutes. We were given the option to dine outdoors or indoors when we noticed larger parties being sat before us when those parties arrived much later than we did. We go back inside and ask, we were told "oh I thought you wanted indoors" Within a few minutes, our table materialized in their outdoor space but we were shorts chairs. The table wasn't big enough for 5 adults and 3 children. The gal with their iPad was the rudest person I have encountered. She blamed us for not telling them how many people in our party. We even told her we called in and if they didn't correct it, that's on them. She was rude and super unprofessional. Needless to say we were very close to leaving. The saving grace for this bad experience was the amazing service by our waitress Auria (I think). She was amazing, professional and polite. She was on top of it; gave us great recommendations on our food and drinks. She was amazing. The entire experience was about $150 for 8 people. The food tastes great, nice portions, great drinks, super affordable. Would we go again? The jury still out. Their app is useless. The two times we have been at this location, hostess have been rude; the wait staff great. Still don't know if I would go back. Another Broken Egg, Winter Park, FL Visited Another Broken Egg on Mother's Day after experiencing a great breakfast at their location in Destin. Because it was Mother's Day, we waited for about one hour even though we listed on the waitlist app. Besides the long wait, we had a great time. The wait staff was great and very attentive. The food was amazing, big portions, great prices!!! Worth the wait. There were 8 of us and all of our food came in at one time. The waitress did a great job!!! Super happy with the entire experience. Just wish this establishment would take reservations. Would I go back?? We would definitely go back again. read more

The spot is nice and the waiter was great but there was food on my fork when we sat down and I wasn't offered a refund. The waiter did take the utensils away after we showed him and he was very apologetic and handled it well, we didn't end up finishing most of our food because we lost our appetite but we were offered free drinks before leaving which was really nice and I personally loved the cookie dough waffle! I don't think ill be returning but the waiter saved this review he was a great guy read more

The food here is very good, but the place is loaded overhyped. Don't even think about going on a Sunday morning as the wait is sometimes last longer than an hour. One of the benefits and they do serve mimosas and bloody Mary's or you can come out other spots but the food overall is decent. read more

It was my 2nd time at this restaurant in the first time bringing my family along. And I was happy that I decided to bring them. I was a bit nervous at first because my family doesn't usually eat out, and additionally, the breakfast items are southern. I came here this morning and loved my visit. We didn't have to wait and was greeted immediately by our waitress. They have a very good menu and choices to pick from, including gluten free options. I didn't get anything cool to drink but they had spiked coffees, pitchers of blood Mary's and pitchers of mimosas. For brunch I got the Eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes and my friend got the Eggs Benedict but with tomatoes with a side of city grits. Both our meals were sooo good! I'll definitely have to come here more often because it wasn't to high in price for what you're getting either. read more

My boyfriend and I love having brunch at another broken egg. We made it a tradition to go there after each 5K we run. Their coffee tastes very good (not watery) and the eggs Benedict on hashbrowns is what I always get because it's very good. The mushroom hollandaise sauce that comes with it is delicious. I also really like the city grits as they come with bacon, cheese, and red pepper, which give it a smoky rich flavor. Service is usually quick and waiters/waitresses are nice. read more

The wait was long but for a Mother's Day weekend relatively short. Melissa was our waitress and did an excellent job. We had a party of ten and she should have had help. Needless to say, she still did a great job. She was friendly and quick with bringing out the food. As always the food was delicious. Thanks for making our Mother's Day brunch the best. This place is very underrated. I love the decor. The food was really good. I ordered the French toast with strawberries it comes with 6 slice of toast, eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. I truly enjoyed this place! The homemade sausage was so flavorful and delicious . My banana bread French toast was soft and delectable. I usually don't like fruits on my French toast but I thought I would give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely try it again! read more

Today I had a great experience with an early lunch. Our server Rayna did everything she could do to make my lunch perfect. My salad arrived with onions, which I asked not to be included, she noticed and then insisted that I have a new salad. That new salad was delivered within minutes so that I was still able to lunch along with my friend. I was totally impressed. The food was delicious and I would definitely order the salad again, though my friends Eggs Benedict looked amazing and my friend said, were delicious. This is my favorite ABE location being in the winter park area. So much stuff around to do after brunch & their food is always prepared so well. Even their fruit is nice with no filler fruit, you know? I've never had a bad experience with their service. They are always so welcoming and nice. I love breakfast and I love their breakfast. Besides White Wolf Cafe, this is where I want to go for a hearty, delicious breakfast. My favorite items are the biscuits and gravy and the Hey Lucy omelet. I only order the Hey Lucy now when I go, cause I just can't believe another item would top that. Wish they did a special price on Sat/Sun for mimosa's but if I'm more in the mood for that I'll probably go to White Wolf. I'd give it a 5 if the service was better. I have to admit, it has never been good. I usually sit at the bar now, to avoid a wait (there is usually a wait on Sat/Sun mornings) and since the bartender/server is right in front of me should i need anything. read more

I met up with a friend for breakfast at Another Broken Cafe, which had been on my radar for a while. Sadly, the experience fell short of expectations. Service was a letdown right from the start--the server took 10+ minutes to even swing by our table for drink orders, didn't even bring water. The cold brew was overpriced and tasted terrible, and I'm usually not fussy about coffee. My omelette was just average, lacking flavor and that special touch. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by 1 smiling employee holding the door welcoming us and 2 the smiling host. We were seated so quickly which was nice being a party of 7. Our server was great! gave us recommendation based on his genuine knowledge and personal favorites for the food, answered our (I'm sure many) questions. My mother and I stopped in for breakfast today. My first time ever coming here. The food was excellent!! Unfortunately 3 bites into my meal, a toothache nailed me hard. Bracus is amazing!!!! 10/10 the best server i've ever had period! First things first he introduced himself and made sure he knew everyones name. I used to come here all the time before covid. I know the pancakes are good but it cannot be said enough that the toast that can be done in 5 or 6 different methods and they all taste good. My ex and I used to eat here all the time when we lived in Winter Park. But lucky for me my friends like the place to so I dont have to just jog down memory lane. FREAKIN awesome !!!!! this location in winter park had the best shrimp and grits I ever had. Also the crab cakes were toooooo good. The waitress/bartender we had named Meryem E. was beyond awesome when it came to customer service, explaining the menu, and imagination. She was more than willing to make her own version of a washington Apple drink for me because they were out of crown royal apple. Atmosphere is relaxing. Huevos Rancheros are Delicious! Pair this meal with a Mimosa and your DAY is set! The Mimosa's are a little over priced, but are made perfect.
