Get a supreme omelet, some grits, and a cup of coffee, and I'm good to go! We eat here often, and always enjoy it. If you're in the mood for a drink, I'd do the strawberry mimosa. read more

So I love this restaurant, especially the one in New Orleans, unfortunately post covid my feelings have changed. This is my second attempt at this location within two weeks to order online. Well you can't order online on the weekends, I guess! So this time instead of ordering somewhere else like I did last weekend I decided why not, so I called. I should've went with my first mind and ordered elsewhere. The female that took my order rushed me through my order all I could order was beignet biscuits and coffee. As far as covid precautions I saw none as if Covid didn't exist. Completely disappointed and too many choices to pick from to dwell. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Called ahead for a pickup... quite a experience post covid.... smh - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - The Colony, Texas

Had a team meeting here at Another Broken Egg Cafe yesterday and i can say I was quite impressed. Hadn't been there before but its a place my wife and I will be back to. To start they give you a complementary order or beignets. (not sure if this is everyday or not) but we got it yesterday. They have a full bar as well as coffee, cappucino's and latte's. Next time we are there on a weekend we'll have to try one of their bloody mary's. As to the food, I got the crab cakes benedict and they were spot on. Eggs were poached right and the crab cake covered the whole english muffin. The country potatoes were crispy just as they should be. All in all, this is a great place for food as well as brunch. Rebecca out server was polite and attentive with out bugging us. She was efficient and didn't feel rushed at all. Can't wait to come back with the wife for brunch. Keep up the great work Another Broken Egg Cafe! Cheers Justin read more

20-25 min wait at the beginning but we got seated 40 mins later. It took 20 mins before our drinks even came out and we didn't even get water. Our waitress was not attentive whatsoever and even grabbed the receipt from my cousin's hands without asking because the waitress realized all the receipts were wrong. How about politely asking for it rather than just grabbing it out of someone's hands? Aside from the terrible service, the food was good. I enjoyed a Spiked Nutella Iced Latte and the Supreme Omelet. My English muffins were slightly burned but at this point, I was just hungry from all the waiting. I tried some of the shrimp & grits. YUMMY, so rich in flavor. And I gotta say, I've had shrimp & grits before and never was a fan, until I had this one! The Mixed Berries Pancakes were also delicious. However, I'm not about soggy pancakes which happened because the pancakes were drenched. But I can see that as a personal preference. Great place to eat! But like I mentioned, the service was not good at all. Perhaps I came on a bad day, we all have those. I hope the next time I come here, the service will be a lot better. read more

Excellent breakfast and drinks! The beignets are so worth trying. They told us the wait would be an hour and fourth five minutes and it ended up being about three hours. The food was great though. Next time we want to try the salmon Benedict. Bloody Mary and strawberry mimosa (not pictured) were delicious. read more

I stopped here for breakfast while staying nearby for the weekend. The waitress was a little slow getting to my table after I was seated, but that is the only complaint that I have. I ordered an omelette and potatoes which came rather quickly. The omelette was cooked to perfection! Such a quaint place that I'll frequent again. read more

First time was good although food was made wrong. Today they were racist and lying about the patio being closed. The people outside said they werent a private party and said the discrimination was obvious. Will not be back. Also said dogs aren't welcome. But okay.... I have the snippet they give you saying pet friendly... I wonder how often they've don't this discrimination practice read more

Amazing breakfast. Was helped by probably my favorite bartender, Kiersten. She made the whole experience better.

LOVED this place the first time I went as it was empty midday during the week and I got the VIP treatment from the manager and got to try alot of great things on the menu. The next time when I brought a friend back for weekend brunch they we're Super busy and seemed overwhelmed and the food quality wasn't as great. Drinks we're ok then but again it may be because of the weekend rush read more

Update to the review below. Kudos to this business for replying with a constructive response to a simple problem. We returned today with friends and experienced better service and good food. Thank you again for a genuine and sincere response. A total miss! Wanted to try based on reviews but first visit caused us to walk out before getting seated. Walked in and a waitress waved at me only to come greet the guy that walked in behind me! And, she seated him before me. I literally felt invisible. Waited a few more minutes (there was plenty of seating available at 9:15 Sun morn), but the four girls at the entry desk didn't even look at us let alone greet me or my husband who walked in after me. You guys had two chances to welcome us. First visit fail. read more

Great service and really good food. Lots of fun and unique options Katie the bartender was super personable and gave us great descriptions of all their brunch cocktails and menue items. We will definitely be back read more

It pains me to write this review as in the past we have had some great service and food here. But post covid restaurants have to stop blaming everything on covid. There is always a long wait here on weekends up until close so business is good. There are plenty of staff but I will see them congregating and talking while one busser is struggling to clean empty tables. Whatever happened to pitching in? The condition of the restaurant is awful. Torn duct taped seats in multiple booths and chipped plates (both my husband and I were served on them). We were given cocktail napkins as napkins. Dont tell me they couldnt have grabbed some napkins at Walmart if their supplier didn't come through. The prices have risen which I expect with rising food prices but the entrees are now so small its laughable. Our shrimp and grits was not even an inch deep in the bowl. We have had this dish so many times here and couldnt believe what we were given this time. Black coffee was almost $4 with tax and my husband was never offered a refill. My entree was also served without the gluten free toast ordered so thank goodness my husband had the same dish so I knew I was given the wrong toast. Then we had to chase that down. Honestly I'm more sad than angry at what has happened to this once amazing restaurant. It almost seems like the owner has so much business that he/she doesn't care. read more

Food was delicious but Bracus made our breakfast unforgettable. He brought a fantastic energy to our table and was so friendly and attentive. I don't think I've ever had a server as great as him. My pumpkin waffle was delicious, however the cinnamon roll French toast looked fabulous. I can't wait to go back and give them a try!! read more

I just had the most delightful experience thanks to our server Brackus. You would be amiss to come here and not have him as your server. You can tell that Brackus takes pride in his customer service. Although we had to wait a tad to be greeted that was quickly forgotten. When I go back I won't see anyone but him. read more

We've given this place a few tries and are always disappointed. They have a pretty large, creative menu (including alcoholic beverages) but none of the food has really been great. I found these "apples" in my fruit cup this morning that looked like they had been sitting out all night. With all the other breakfast and lunch options in the area, we probably won't return. read more

Second update: This is our third time here...the service keeps getting worse and the food has started to suffer as well. We are giving up on it. Update 6/25/2017 So I have to alter my review not because of the food, and not because the service is unfriendly...but because this place is a circus with no ring leader. I assumed last time it was disorganized because it was Fathers Day but we are here late on a normal Sunday and it is chaos. But not because it's busy! For example: there are several families being told there's a 30 minute wait while there are 8 tables sitting empty waiting to be bussed. That's the kind of chaos I'm talking about. The servers are super friendly but they have a deer in the headlights look about them that is very unnerving. I love the food, and though it was slow it was delicious. I might come back for the food but this new experience left a bad taste in my mouth. ------------- Let's start by saying today was Father's Day. It was busy. We used the No Wait app to check in on our drive to this place so when we got there our table was just about ready. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly despite it being a busy holiday. But all of that pales in comparison to the food. The FOOD. As my daughter would say: OH EM GEE. My husband had an awesome Bloody Mary with his delicious eggs Benedict. He said it tasted like the first eggs Benedict he ever had. Well I know that was good because I made the first eggs Benedict he ever had! Haha! The kids meals were nice looking and plenty of food. I had the breakfast Quinoa with granola and yogurt. It is my new favorite breakfast! All in all I am happy to say we will be back! read more

We've now visited this spot, twice. We love the biscuits and gravy! The sausage patties alone are a bit much (for me). They are heavily seasoned, in my opinion but they aren't bad. The gravy is delicious and the biscuits are fluffy. Both times we have had quick and very friendly service. The coffee is always very hot here! And that's a good thing. I've tried their bloody mary once, it was their spicy one. It definitely had a spicy kick but it was good. It's a great brunch spot. It can get busy but we've never had to wait too long. read more

I had to update my review...we tried Another Broken Egg again , and the food was equally delicious as our first visit. Our server was Candice. She was super friendly and very pleasant. I'm so glad we gave it another try, as good service can make the difference in a 3 star or 5 star restaurant. We will definitely request her next time!!! Food - 5 stars, Service - 2 stars...This was our first visit to another broken egg, and we really enjoyed it. I love that you can get on the waitlist using the Yelp app. The hostess was very friendly, as were other servers we passed on our way to and from our table. We were seated in about 5 minutes. Our server, Aubrey, took a while to great us. She got our drink order, and after a few minutes another server brought us water stating Aubrey was running behind. We finally got our coffee after a while. She took our order, and then we began to wait. We saw other people get there food, pay and leave before we had any food. We finally had food in front of us, and it was fantastic!! My son loved his crawfish dish, and the lobster omelette was great!! My daughter enjoyed the banana foster pancakes. The sausage was delicious and cooked perfectly. My husband equally enjoyed the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes. The country potatoes were amazing and not greasy at all. The food was awesome, but Aubrey was slow, unfriendly and not attentive. It didn't help that she mentioned her dislike for having to work on 4th of July. Maybe that is why she had such a frown. She might want to try a different profession. read more

What a joke!!!!! Waited 30 minutes for a table. Then a long time for a server, thennnnnnn foreverrrrrrr for food. Told server wanted beignets as dessert and she brought them first after a 50 minute wait for food. Told her we wanted them at the end AFTER we get our food-if we ever get food. Starving at this point, no food, frustrated and finally decide to leave and walk up the sidewalk to another place for food. Wayyyyyyy too many places in the area to choose from to ever have to deal with the poor service here again. All manager says is I'll let kitchen know-what good will that do us lol! It is breakfast food!!! Not that difficult! 2 freaking omelets. I could have gone to Kroger, shopped for a bit, gone home and made it in less time. read more

Another Broken Egg is our favorite breakfast place! Braces helped us start our morning off with generous hospitality and kindness! The food was amazing, and we can't wait for our next visit. read more

Went in for breakfast this morning and sad to say that we will not be returning. We arrived to the restaurant, put our name on the list and happily waited. The wait was about 20 minutes, so no bad at all. We were then seated and placed our drink order, a Bloody Mary, an iced coffee and waters. The Bloody Mary arrived with a piece of bacon in it, which is always exciting! But you could see the cold grease on it, which then made it unappetizing. The iced coffee was great! We placed our food order, a waffle for our daughter off of the kids menu and then my husband and I ordered the exact same thing.... biscuits and gravy with eggs sunny side up and extra crispy potatoes. We waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive (which at breakfast restaurants/any restaurant seems like a while without any check in). We were excited to enjoy our breakfast, only to find that every item was COLD and the potatoes were not crispy. My husband was starving so he proceeded to eat most of his and my daughter and I had a few bites of ours. After the disappointment we were ready to pay our bill and go, sadly we had not seen our server since the food was delivered so we kindly asked the hostess to assist with obtaining out bill. The host staff was great and very pleasent! She quickly told our server who came over to give us our bill. Out of a courtesy and room for improvement I mentioned that the food was cold and she said she was sorry and she delivered it as soon as they told her it was ready, she did say I wish you would have told me to which I was thinking in my head how could we.... you never came back to check on us during the meal. (I thought it, but was not about to say it) She then had a manager come over to us and chat, he apologized, and we just asked to pay our bill so we could leave. We were not looking to or expecting for any kind of concession or discount, and thankfully we weren't or I would have been further disappointed as they didn't offer one. I am writing this in hopes that they will do a quality check of the kitchen for anyone that dines with them moving forward. The staff all seemed very pleasant and from the small bites I took, the flavors seems good. The dining experience was just ruined by cold food and no way to correct it. read more

I've been here two times now and have been lucky to have Bracus as my waiter! He's so friendly and thoughtful. The food is delicious and he knows his menu well. My first visit I had my 10 month old with me and had to bring a cake in so it wouldn't be sitting in my car. Bracus was so sweet and helped me carry the cake and my leftovers in a box out to my car when we left! I want to become a regular here just so I can see him all the time . I love the cold brew and french toast - so good! read more

Doesn't seem like there is a manager here for a Sunday morning busy time. Lots of staff mulling around. 6 open tables and I've been told a 45 minute wait. One guy bussing tables for the entire restaurant. People who are checking in now are being told that the kitchen is backed up 45 minutes. Even though people have been told a 25 minute wait after I checked in. I've eaten here a few times and the food is good. It's a shame that this place will go out of business like most others because of poor management. I hope they figure things out before that happens. read more

Okay, okay...what did I miss?! I've heard about ABE numerous times, so I had to check out this new location. My party of four waited about 30 minutes for a table on Sunday around 12:30pm which was a fine wait for a new breakfast spot. However, It took 15 minutes to receive our waters upon sitting down because our server said one of the other servers took the waters to a different table. The restaurant is pretty small, so I'm not sure why operations aren't running more smoothly. Anyways, we were really excited because everything on the menu sounded really good. We ordered beignets which were good but were more of a hush puppy consistency rather than a typical beignet consistency. The honey orange marmalade is off the chain though, I can't lie. The rest of our food arrived on dirty plates and had clearly been cooked on a dirty grill (see pics). I asked for no pecans with my pancakes yet they were still cooked into the pancake batter? Thank god I'm not allergic. They also cooked huge strawberry slices into a pancake which made the strawberries slimy and sour. I wanted to end my meal with a giant cinnamon roll but was too afraid to waste anymore money. When our server picked up our plates at the end of our meal and realized they were only half eaten, she laughed and I told her to never order what I ordered. Side note: why does the house made sausage patty taste like a falafel? Is there not meat in it? So disappointed. read more

Recently went, I wouldn't say the waitress was rude, but definitely aloof. Potatoes were super salty, asked waitress if they were normally this salty, to which she replied it depends on how they season them in the kitchen , never offered to exchange them. I didn't eat any of them and she never bothered to apologize . I asked to substitute sausage for veggies on my omelette, they just charged me extra for the veggies, (they never mentioned the up charge) when I asked she said that's how they do it, didn't get any "credit for the fact that I wasn't getting sausage. Giving 3 stars because the omelette was really good and I've never had a a bad experience at Another Broken Egg before. read more

1pm on a Sunday - 10 minute wait - didn't wait long, we took the first 2 bar seats that opened Another Broken Egg Cafe is the second best place to brunch in the Dallas area. (I know the 1st best place to brunch in Deep Ellum - DM for info). Anyway. My best friend and I brunched here today. We started with a $31.99 pitcher of black cherry mimosas and a crab cake app that was $6. Don't get me started. Best hair of the dog and hangover food I've ever needed and received. The mixture of sweet and salty was major key. I ordered a turkey panini w a side of fruit. I was feeling somewhat nauseous due to my festivities the night before. Enter: SHAY (bartender/server) To be honest, Shay was a supportive brunch revival support connoisseur from the moment her bright face greeted us. She identified my hangover, recommended the black cherry mimosa and up sold us to the pitcher which we gladly accepted. I ended up needing a box for my food since my tummy hurt and poof there Shay was. Shay even gave me black cherry tea with a splash of lemonade to-go because it would help to ease my stomach. My bff got a Mardi Gras omelette that came w a side of your choice (we chose City Grits-more to come on le grits). Bff and I had to use process of elimination and 3 packets of sugar to help her make a decision on what to order. That's how good the menu items are here. Some of the hardest decisions you'll ever make in your life. City grits- I said more to come, but not much more. It's the best Loaded Baked Potato you've ever had. But it's not a loaded baked potato. PS my bff was visiting from Denver. She can't wait for ABEC to open there! We request Shay to train the Denver bartenders so we can see her again soon. To be short, My bff and I had an A++++ experience and I'll be back in two Sundays to see my girl SHAY at the bar. read more

Another broken egg is broken alight! My pancakes (to go) fell on the ground due to the wind and instead of offering to replace it the manager (and still can't believe it was the manager) said oh I can get you a new box uhh no thanks how about a refund for the poor judgment. I also brought up how my eggs Benedict weren't runny like they should and instead of offering to replace it like he also should've he simply said oh yeah next time order them poached light: well there won't be a next time but thanks again. I love eggs Benny wherever I go and try to order them if they're on the menu but I've never had to order them this way for them to be cooked correctly. The waitress also brought the tab as soon as my food came out and that's another pet peeve bc how am I supposed to tip you, based on what? She never refilled my water or came back out to ask how my food was. I'm just perplexed. Everything was lacking... THIS IS MY SECOND TIME GIVING A REVIEW ABOUT THE FOOD and the service"WTF" how are they still in business !!!! Like there is not enough time in the day to explain how HORRIBLE THIS PLACE IS!!! I got a gift card for my birthday WORST GIFT EVER!!!! Tried to place the order online didn't work , so I called place the order with the manager .... didn't work he said the whole system was down across the company he saw I wasn't going for it so he figured it out. 45 minutes later they said they didn't have a order then 5 minutes later they found it... 10 minutes later I'm home with my food that I just ate the bacon (after I finished cooking it) and tossed the rest in the trash ... I'm just saying if your called "ANOTHER BROKEN EGG" at the least you should be able to cook a egg even the waffles were 1/2 cooked... BUT HAY THE PLACE BE CROWDED.....
